This must be the greatest game ever ! Here is a list of things you can do:Fish,Have picnics,Surf,sleep,Run,Play,Fight,Explore,You even get to go into Ash's House ! It is a Great Price and everybody should get even non-Pokemon fans.Parents should have fun too,and make sure Pikachu does too!

This Game should be a Bestseller like in Japan.it's Not Stupid and it's not like any other Pokemon game.It's in color you can go places have picnics have battles and much much more I've played it in Japanse it's really cool I recomend getting it for anyone even non Pokemon Fan.....

(An actual line from the game) You know those interactive-PC toys? This is the best one made yet; it is not a game. Sure the mini games are fun, but they are unrelated to Pikachu in any way, shape, or form. The lack of instructions and a VERY limited vocabulary leed to sheer frustration much of the time, and Pikachu recognizes only high-pitched voices, as the main audience is pre-pubescent. The game is a little addictive, but you end up asking yourself, "That's It?" And it is...it's not a big game, and it is at times not very fun either. It is life with Pikachu, which should be fun, but it's more like spending your life with your dog. He's fussy, noisy, and sometimes dumb. no real difference here. Rent this game if you're under 10, then go spend time with a real pet or a Tamagotchi or something.

Take this into consideration before buying...

Not a bad game, overall...This is one of the first games to rely primarily on voice recognitition, so - while impressive - the feature is still in it's early stages and is therefore a bit raw. It took me (and my "advanced" 21 years of age) and my sister quite a bit of time to make that confused little Pikachu fully understand what we were trying to say. This game requires a whole lot of patience, but, eventually, you should grow accustomed to speaking in a Pikachu-friendly voice. (** Note: A few tips to guide you: Speak at a normal volume; you can scream furiously at the microphone for hours, but it's generally ineffective [trust me]. Also, do not over-annunciate or emphasize your words/syllables too much; speak plainly.) While the game itself is specifically geared towards the wee folkies, anyone without a clearly developed type of speech will have a fairly difficult time making his/her intentions clear to the wayward (but oh-so adorable) Pokemon. If you are a parent looking to purchase this game for a child under 6, be prepared to sit down and guide them through the first few stages.

The game play is also a bit awkward. The control stick is used primarily to guide you around and, in order to pick up a certain object (or to urge Pikachu to do it), you have to position yourself *just* right and that also takes a bit of practice. In scenes where objects are placed close together, targeting a certain item can be enormously frustrating.

There are a few positive aspects to the game. The characters are well-structured, colorful, and simply adorable, and the sound is equally charming. In addition, I'm sure that there is something to be said about this being a positive game for the younger type; Hey You, Pikachu! is completely void of violence and is basically a friendly, feel-good romp around with a wee Pokemon-thing that loves you. Kind of warm and fuzzy...It's not overly challenging (once you get past the voice recognition flaws) and players basically re-visit the same levels, improving on their previous scores. Again, good for the kiddies, but the game will no doubt become quickly boring for anyone over 12.

Again, this is all in my humble opinion and you are under no obligation to take my review as the definitive Bible on Hey You, Pikachu! I *would*, however, recommend that you rent this game from Blockbuster prior to actually purchasing it (at quite a heavy price, no less).

Not just another Poke'mon toy.

Many people have been telling me that Pokemon is pretty crazy and childish. I agree, but this toy/ game still had a little fun in it. You basically get to talk to Pikachu and fight Pokemon and have picnics and see its feelings. After a while it gets boring and it does seem to be a teed childish but it seems to be the first in a line of new technology that is very fun.

This Game Is A Must Have Cause It Has A Mic And You Can Talk To Pikachu And Pikachu Is Like Your Pet With Really Cool Powers It's Really Cool And Most Of The Pokemon Are On It And You Can Tell Him What To Do And It's In 3D, You Get To Walk A Row With Pikachu And See Other Pokemon And Some Times They Fight And You Can To Talk Them And Their So Much To Do On This Game And You Even Get Pikachu To Fight Other Pokemon Like On The Cartoon And You And Pikachu Can Fish And It's (One Of The Best Pokemon Game's Ever)Really Good. PS:I Really Like The Mic.

This game may seem like it is only for little kids, because of the cuteness factor, but I am a teenager, and I own the game. The game is provides a decent challenge, and it is very fun to play. The game may seem a bit expensive, but it comes with a microphone that attaches to the controller and a voice recognition device that is plugged into the last controller slot. It is a lot of fun to tell Pikachu to do things, and you must figure out what to say to Pikachu in order to solve problems and progress in the game. Pikachu is like a real pet because he misbehaves sometimes, and you must scold him. Pikachu has an odd habit of stealing your items, and you must do various things to get your items back. The game gets better as you progress because you are allowed to do more and more things, such as Pikachu mode and view mode. The view mode is very helpful in getting Pikachu to understand exactly what you want him to do later in the game. The only thing I dislike about the game is that your time in the level is limited because Professor Oak makes you leave the levels after a while. If you haven't fulfilled the objective, you must go back to the level later on to fulfill it because of Prof. Oak's insisting on making you leave the level. Other than that, I think this game is great for everyone, not just little kids.

This game is the best game that i have ever played on the Nintendo64. It has Voice Recognition and it is the first game that has had it on the Nintendo. This game is a real good purchase and I have no doubts about it. The amazing thing is that Pikachu does whatever you tell him too. This is a must purchase. I highly recommend it

Pokemon is pretty cool and this game probably gets three extra stars because it has a microphone,but it doesn't have a point to it like in all of the other pokemon games,sure it's pretty good but it's targeted toward little kids.
