This game was (and still is) awesome! I'm still amazed at the sound and graphics quality of this game, and I always have fun playing it! Some mini games are a bit confusing and incredibly hard. The golden bananas, which act like Banjo-Kazooie's jiggies, are sometimes also extremely hard to get. There's actually over 150 bananas in the game! To be exact, there's 201 bananas in the game, counting the giant (counts as 2) banana that you get for getting all of the banana fairies. This game took me about 6 years to beat (I still haven't gotten all of the bananas!) with other games in-between, including getting a Gamecube. Overall, this game is AWESOME! A must get for any N64 owner!

I bought my special edition nintedno 64 that came with donkey kong 64.
i have been playing this game on and off since 1999, i have 183 out of 200 golden bannanas.
If you like classic games then this is for you.

This is the best DK game ever! On the best system ever. Here are descriptions of the characters: 1.Donkey Kong- the main character of the game. He has many new abilities. Diddy Kong- as many of you may remember this is Donkey's nephew. He is very fast and agile. Funky Kong- You may remember this guy as the surf punk who would give you transportation. Now he's here giving all the Kongs weapons and ammo belts. Cranky Kong- His name gives part of his description. Still as mean as ever. Gives you helpful potions though. Wrinkly Kong- Mother of Donkey, husband of Cranky, only now she's a ghost with helpful info. Candy Kong- Wait a minute!!! Doesn't she bear a striking reseblence to Britney Spears. From the blonde hair to the nice figure to the two huge, large, gigantic, humongous, ginormus, gargntuan, big, giant, bulky, hefty, immense, robust, healthy, full size, mammoth, massive, enormus, colossal, vast, immesurable, outsized, hulking, and epic b()()bs. But Candy's not the only girl to seemed to have developed more. You should definitely try and find the mermaid in the Gloomey Galleon level. She also has two huge, large, gigantic, humongous, ginormus, gargantuan, big, giant, bulky, hefty, immense, robust, healthy, full size, mammoth, massive, enormus, colossal, vast, immeasurable, outsized, hulking, and epic b()()bs. Oh yeah, about the secret ending. You have to get a 101%. I will tell you only a little bit about it. It shows the DK crew on K.Lumsy. First it'll show you the VERY, VERY BIG girl Candy on his nose. I think I'm the only one to notice but her b()()bs actually jiggle. After the K.Lumsy scene it shows some tryouts from Cranky. My favorites are when DK and K.Rool are doing a little girly clap. The other favorite is when the mermaid, Candy, and a new character are sitting in their se*y poses showing off their immense b()()bs. I will not tell you about the three new characters. Good music, funny characters, a great story, and one gorgeous Kong that you wished was the Kong (girl) next door!!! You should get this game if you are big fan of Rare's BIG women.
