The background is cool the color's pop up at you. The plant's the tree's and bushes look's great. The Kong's are great to. You get to have power's and gun's and you get to play music in the game.
Some of the level's are pretty and nice looking. And some are dark and where are some of the light's? You know light's that shine in your eye's well anyaway good game I wish some of the game that I playden where like is one.Don't you?
Some of the level's are easy and some are a little hard so thing careful. I playden this game so any time that's funny ha,,,ha ,,,ha. I don't know why that's funny.
In the water you don't need air is that cool or what? Well, you play the game and see for yourself. Write me back and tell me what you think ok. Good luck on the game it's fun to play.

When I first saw the ads for this game i thought it stunk. But when my friend got I was amazed. Now I have it and can't stop playing it.
PS- some people say this game is too hard only because they're not good at it.

This game is simply awesome. The 3-D graphics are cool. And a ton of levels, you're gonna be there for a while.

great graphics, not enough action. the whole game is basically collecting golden bananas to unlock worlds to collect more bananas. It is a good game however and is a steal at the price amazon is selling it for. it is identical to banjo-kazooie/tooie, so if you played those games and hated them or are tired of them, dont buy dk64, personally i found dk country more fun on snes, but that is just me.

This is has fabulous graphics (with the Expansion pak) and great gameplay. The graphics are to good to be true and the characters. The moves are great! I strongly recommend this game.

...the camera was terrible,picking from kong to kong was annoying and collecting bannanas was stupid. The bosses were way to easy and it was just a dumb game. It's not your traditional DK. Don't by it!

As a 32 yr old that played all the games in the 80's, all I cansay is kids today are lucky. I've already spent hours fooling aroundwith this game. It doesn't require the same type of hand-eye coordination that "our" games required, but it's a lot more fun.
The only irritation is it's slow to get started. I got a little ...[upset], wandering around like an idiot, trying to find some bananas.
But once you get rolling, it's really a lot of fun. END
One more great game for the N64

First of all, the price of this game has dropped from $49.95 to $39.95. When I first brought the game, I thought the graphics were great. On top of that, the game is very fun. There are 8 huge worlds and you have to get bananas with each of your 5 characters. After beating the 8 worlds and obtaining 200 bananas, you will then enter the final world. The sound effects is in surround sound and it sounds as good as the movies. the only minor problem with this game is that on some areas, the graphics seems to get smaller. Your view might be more of a top view. I think it should get a 4.5 but besides the little graphics problem it is a perfect game for the N64.

This game has cool graphics and sound effects. I liked the sniper scope and homing ammo. Lanky Kong is my favorite Kong; he looks weird. I liked Lanky's handstand the best. I didn't actually think that the game was that great. I hated some of the mini-games, and I did not like the 1980's Donkey Kong Arcade. The golden bananas aren't really that easy to get, and I did not like Diddy's jetpack. Sound effects and play control is very good. I like the beginning rap and the ending. The game takes a lot of patience and time to play through.
