This is a great game. I got it for Christmas 99 and it is one of the best games I own. Although I am stuck on Fungi Forest with 60 some stars. I love this game. The graphics will blow you away and there is so much to do in a level that even completing half the tasks in one level will be to much to do in one playing period. Unless, of course, you play all day.

This game has got to be the best! Its got 3D graphics from the best gaming company: RARE! Donkey and Diddy are back with new friends Lanky, Tiny, and Chunky. This game also has an arcade with the original Donkey Kong W/ Mario and a computer with Jetpac on it.

This game is on the only reason I bought N64. I loved all the others on Super Nintendo, but this one is definitely the best!

If you haven't this game, then you don't know what you're missing. Challenging, absorbent gameplay accompanies beautiful graphics that make this game a 5, no 10 star game. If you think you know all the Kongs, you are abbbbbbsolutely wrong. 3 new additions excite the gamer as he or she attemps to rescue the other 4 Kongs. You start out with Donkey, then rescue Diddy. Diddy rescues Tiny, Donkey rescues Lanky, and Lanky rescues Chunky. Yes, Donkey and Diddy are back with 3 new characters! If you buy this game, get ready to use, umm, a rough sketch of 60-80 hours on this game. This game is the best of the rest. 8 extensively large levels end with a grand finale of a different kind. Go face-to-face with K. Rool, meet his challenges, and, well, it is just difficult with a capital D. Aww, but, the fun makes up for frustration. You HAVE TO HAVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!! It's #1 definitely!!!!!!!!! You go Donkey, Diddy, Lanky, Tiny, and Chunky! You go!

I would give it 5 stars if it was still fun to play once done. I gave it 4 instead. It does have bonus player areas you can battle friends in. You can go back in the level and play the old donkey kong video game. it does give hours of fun for children. i like the muti player modes. since i lost intrest in the game because... hey its finished. maybe i am partial to two player games... graphics a great. game play is long enough. just seemed like something was missing. i hate it when a game is finished and its no fun to go back because you know were everything is like the pc game myst. at lease they put in the battle area and other short fun levels. still worth buying.

We originally bought this for the multi-player portion. We started doing the Adventure and love it. I generally do not like role playing games and most adventure games, but this one is a keeper. This place is HUGE!

This game is awesome. In 3D, DK64 will make you go bananas. In this game, you've got to get golden bananas to get into the levels, and other bananas to access the bosses. Tons of adventure, plus get special abilities, uncover hidden levels, and, most importantly, HAVE FUN. Other game modes include Mystery, a cheat mode; and Kong Battle, a multiplayer mode. Tons of fun for you and your friends!

This game is good for gamers who like challenges and long adventure games. It's a bit complicated,not for young kids. It looks cute at first but then it takes you a long time to beat a level!The graphics are cool and the game is part puzzle-part adventure.

This is the best N64 game of all. The graphics are the best but sometimes the camera view is annoying but that is a minor set back. The goal is to get 200 golden bananas and to get 100% of the game done. I've had mine for a few weeks and I already have 145 golden bananas and 65% of the game done and I still have school. I play it so much because it is plain fun. If you get it though, you might want to get a player's guide because it is pretty tough. So if you are looking for a cool N64 game that is also challenging, get Donkey Kong 64!

This is a fantastic game!It has great music and everything.You can play 5 different kongs each with special powers.Tiny can shrink and Lanky can strech his arms out and inflate himself!Chunky can pound and throw rocks while Diddy can use a jetpack.Donkey Kong can turn invincible.There are giant levels,tons of potions,instruments,items,bonus games,and much,much more!You can turn into a rhino and a dolphin.There's even multiplayer games and battles.In the game you can blast through barrels and explore.This game takes pratice but it is fun!
