Is this game better then everquest?
I been playing eq for over two years just to watch them nerf everybodys classes, get bad tech support, befor i jump into another game i just want to make sure its nothing like eq

Realistic, and BETTER THAN EVERQUEST!!!

You wouldn't believe how many people stopped playing EverQuest to play this game only!
It's much more realistic than EverQuest. The sound your feet make are a perfect example. The sound your feet make is perfectly synchronized with your walking. You won't make three steps and then hear a clunk sound.
The character models for women are more realistic,too. I mean they aren't extreamly ugly, but they don't all look like half-naked swimsuit models.
Another thing that makes this game better than EverQuest are the spell effects. Spell effects look like..... well..... spells! Not little flickers of blue and red, but stuff you may imagine Merlin himself to conjure up.
Next is RvR, I haven't experienced it yet but everyone I talk to says it looks like an actual mythical war.
Monsters are smarter in this, too. They give up if you outdistance it, it won't keep following you if you're like half way accross the zone from the thing. And they fight smarter, they will aggro on a caster or healer much faster than EverQuest because they know their attackers aren't getting boo boos as fast as they should.
If you're loyal to EverQuest and don't want to cancel your account because of the massive amount of money you spent so you could run Luclin don't get this game. But do if you're bored of EverQuest, because this game is much better

This game has to be the most adictive game i have ever played. Also after playing it for a few months its still just as addictive

This game is pretty fun but it can get repetitive after awhile because you advance levels so slowly that you can't fight many different things. The forced grouping of the game can also be a little tiresome especially if you don't get along with someone in your group, but grouping does allow you to fight higher lever creatures and have a chance of surving it plus you get more experince and loot.

Looks like Mythic got it right this time.

Dark Age of Camelot is a solid online rpg. Amazon.com is selling it for 50% off, heck that is a good enough deal for me. Personally I wouldn't pay $40 for this game because of other titles like Everquest. But you can not beat this price. Look at it this way, you are getting three free months of gameplay. The one included, plus two more paid for by the 50% off.

This game is taking us a few steps closer to a new generation of MMORPGs. And I say "Bring it on", plus you can't beat the price. Get it asap.

This is by far the best MMORPG out there. I recently got the brand new soundtrack for the game which features authentic medieval music, celtic music and nordic music which compliment the gaming experience....

this game never gets boring, you can always switch races and classes.fft EQ, what EQ? this surpases eq by a mile. BUY IT if u love adventure

This game is awsome. Play this then go to EQ when you've had enough,which for some people that never happens. the graphics are awsome,it has unlimited space.you'll never explore your WHOLE realm and if you do, switch realms.the sound is great, the graphics are good if YOU HAVE A GOOD GRAPHICS CARDS, all these people who are writing these reviews have bad comps. buy this game.

I have to admit, this is the most fun I've ever had on a computer. However, be warned! This game will suck up any free time you ever get. It is sooooo fun because every time you do something, one more thing has to be done, just out of your current reach. It will suck you and your time up into your computer. Buyer be warned.

I'd just like to say that this is a GREAT game, and although the people say it gets boring lvling, there are OTHER things to do besides lvling. And to me, i don't think that once you get to lvl 50 it gets boring. You can always make another character, get your epic. And BTW, the people who said the game was boring once you hit 50, most likely haven't gotten a character to 50. The expansion will make the game even better than it already is.
