Casual MMOG excellence

UO, AC, EB, EQ, DAOC these are all MMOGs, comparing the initial 12 levels of DAOC I can see playing and trade skilling is a lot easier and intuitive than the other games. EQ I've played several times but always at 50+ I get sick of having to always look for people to group with.
This may happen to me in DAOC later on however right now my enchanter can solo and I barely have to med unlike a L12 mage in EQ.
If you hate meding for several minutes after killing one dark blue con then DAOC is for you.
UO was fun but is terribly outdated now. EB, AC, AO just didnt' do it for me. Can't write a review on those since I didn't play em that much to say anythiing.

This has to be one of the best games I have ever played. Its leaps and bounds ahead of anyother out there, at least where gameplay is concerned. Not only is it fashioned for fun in mind, but also it is crafted to be a very competative game as well. Those who like pvp mmrpg's will like this.

Too bad for Verant, Everquest developer...

Exactly, I want to give this game 4.5 stars.

After I had made my fighter character to level 7 paladin and a mage character to lv 6 sorceress in Dark Age of Camelot(Camelot in short), I felt the same feeling as I was 2 years ago after I played Everquest. The feeling is that I want to play this game instead of going to work, sleep, etc. Well, don't worry about me, I'm ok until now. ;)
Camelot is the game that shows what it will be like if Everquest had been introduced 2 years later. Yes, Camelot is that fun like Everquest. At first, I thought only the graphic is better than Everquest. But after I played it through a week, I now have no desire to go back to Everquest and my 6 month subscription for Evequest which I started in this month seems waste to me because I will play this game from now on...to perhapse Shadow over Lucilin comes out.
Ok. I was a bit superfluous about compliment, right? I want to conclude my review that Camelot is as much fun as Everquest and It changed a few rules which bother me a lot in Everquest like having to buy magic scroll to learn, or having to keep food and water always, or lose level if you die soon after level up. So I have decided my mind that I'll stick to this game. What is yours?

I have played every MMORPG for 3 yrs now and this is the smoothest release EVER!!!!

Dark Age of Camelot is a game that submerges you into anchient myth containing everything from Elves, dwarves, to the arcane arts. In this game there are 3 Unique but well balanced relms from which your character can live. This world is vast being larger then EQ yet smaller then AC (its a great size). Each individual relm is Vast containing many things to do. Camelot developed by Mythic Entertainment was built around the wants and dislikes (including mistakes) made by all the first generation MMORPG's. Essencially this game is the games dream right now. It has much in store for you in the lower levels and upper including Relm vs Relm combat for the powers of mysterious artifacts that power your entire empire.
Highlights include:
*New Group System which makes grouping only an advantage including several features for healers to keep track of the party status and the such. There also a group matching system which runs relm wide so you can find group members without having to scouer the world.

*New Chat & Message system so that you can keep track of all those important messages as well as important information at to what is happeneing.

*A Great spell system -Spells that look and are powerful and balanced in every respect. Includes DD, DOT, Group spells, Bolts, Healing, and just about anything you can think of.

*New combat styles system to make every combat diffrent and intresting. Melee classes get Combat moves like casters get spells. (ie wirlwhind attack and the such)

*Little down time, in the heat of combat the a well rounded group is nessiary for survival. But after the battle it does not take long for everybody to recover without aid.

*Everyone can solo to an extent, however ones ability to solo no longer puts you above all others

*Very Colourful trade skill system allowing players to create just about anything. Players create the best equpment (better then store bought) and there are about 10 skills each with at least 20+ formulas each (that is only final products).

*Anti powerleveling system & anti camping system that rewards those who move around and hunt over those who stay and camp one spot. You maximum XP gain is capped depending on your level.

*Equipment degrades over time (dont worry it takes some time to degrade. You can get several hunting outtings before you have to repair) keeping trade skills always in demand.

*Item Con system so that n00b with uber weapon dont R0X0R everything. Baised on idea where though you can weild that uber sword. Do you know how to manipulate it for its full potential. Someone with impropwer skill using an item beyond there skill ofen may damage that item.

*Mythic is GREAT for keeping close to its customers. Like the AC devs they are on the ball and keep you up to date while listening to the practical demands of the players

In short Buy it!, Live it!, Love it!

in DAOC you can choose from three (great)realms such as hibernia albion and midgard. Albion is a neutral realm meaning it doesnt specialize in anything hibernia is the land of magic and midgard is for the fighting melee chars. A MUST BUY FOR ANY ONE THAT LOOKS AT THIS!!!

This is the best game i've ever played, better than eq, its so fun and great to play, meeting new people, getting into awesome guilds, taking relics and keeps, its the best you should buy it CUZ ITS SO FUUUUUUNNNNNNN!

I would surely recommend this game to an fan of any Middle Ages or ancient Games, due to many reasons.
The first of these are that you can talk to other people who are playin for help,quests,or just plain chat. Other reasons include fairly good graphics,helps to strengten reaching small or large goals, joining and helping other people.
On the down side, I do agree it does takes a long tome to level your characters, connection and service might be long or difficult,etc. But hey, what game doesn't have its flaws?
After playing this game once at my cousin's house, I got hooked and ordered it.
Hope you enjoy the game.

U like Magic, Mystic Creatures and Worlds....

This game is for a Roleplaying fans and of course non fans also but this game is one of the best online games i ever played, EverQuest was also good, but this beats it 100%, choose char from pure Power spellcaster to Heavy Strong Fighter, the choice is yours, what u gonna be?

and best of all u don't need that big fat internet line to play it, u can use 57k modem, no problems!
