The first one was good but the second one blew me away with the multiplayer.

Not a pefect sequel, but pretty darn close.

After finishing the first Splinter Cell, I couldn't wait the follow-up game to be released. Now that I've played it, I do like the game, but I think the original was better.

The shadows and lighting effects are all there just as you remember from the original. The new version automates some of the tedious tasks for you (silent landings are now automatic) and holding the right trigger engages the fully automatic weapon, although you really rip through bullets fast AND the trigger is very sensitive.

The missions are shorter than the original and there are more save points in between in this version. Good and bad I guess.

All in all, the game will still hold your attention long enough until Chaos Theory is released, but it just didn't live up to the hype.

Awesome Game!!

I curently purcased a Xbox, Xbox Live, and Splinter Cell Pandora tomorrow. Have to say so far this game is awesome (just like the orignial) and the Online makes its even better. All the bugs have been worked out with the Xbox live splinter cell so no worries there. All around this is a excellent game :)

amazing

Pandora Tomorrow is even better than its predecessor. The graphics are beautiful, controls are easy, and the new multiplayer... WOW. But if I was forced to pick out one flaw by someone from a rival company pointing a gun at my right temple (which, by the way, there is) then that one flaw would be the difficulty. The game is incredibly realistic, and that's made it that much harder. If you get Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (which I urge you to do) then be prepared for times where you sit for 5 minutes waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Nevertheless, it is an amazing game, and anyone who enjoyed the first (or anyone who didn't), should definitely get Pandora Tomorrow.

This game is one of the best games i've ever played. I haven't played "Splinter Cell" yet but i just bought it b/c i'm so in love with "SC: PT". I think SC: PT had an awesome story line behind it. Everything went together and you knew the reason for it. If you're into using your mind and enjoy strategy games you will LOVE this game. It's stealth and what an awesome change from FPS. I play a lot of different games but i must say, this game kept me away from daily chores (that's a good thing) b/c i was so into the game. i didn't mind the news coverage b/c that's what you would see in real life. We don't know what our government is doing but at least this game allows you to know what is happening. I've seen people complain about how the missions ended to soon, but honestly i loved that b/c it allowed me to take a break and re-group after the instense game play.

Tom Clancy knows his stuff.

One of the best Xbox games

Splinter cell is by far one of the best Xbox game there is. I am not really into major stealth games, but this one actually kept my attention, and determination to beat the game. Now with it being playable online makes the game so much more better.

Graphics: Wow. What is there to say, they are unbeleivable. It pushes the Xbox to its max. The lighting and shadows. The water and the grass. Everything is detailed to the fullest. The heat vision looks amazing, and especially movement. There have been no glitches.

Sound: Sound is well . . . there is music that sometimes play and obviously the object is not to produce sound. Although you will. The footsteps, water moving, grass, wind, trains zooming by you, bullets, voices, glass breaking, also the sound of the guy struggling to get out of your grip. The sounds are spectacular.

Gameplay: Gameplay is the most important aspect of any game. This game has a very well thought out plot. With the intro of the terrosits taking over the embassy. Then you learning of new people that twist in and out of the game. The game is very well created. Having to stay in the dark, then going into the light because a gaurd has night vision on. Sneaking behing the guy to grab him and knock him out, but after that you must hide the body so other gaurds won't find him and be suspicious. Gaurds react very well to sounds and movement. The creators went all out with this game.

Even if you don't like stealth games this is one to think about at least renting. I promise you'll be hooked on it. It's just simply one of the best games for the Xbox.

Fisher, you've done it again.

Not only have the people at that great company Ubisoft created one of the best stealth games ever, but I'd be hard pressed to find a better game at all. Many new moves add to the uniqueness of this game, but it's length is appalling. After picking it up and letting it sit for a while, I lost it. After losing all of my saves (because my Xbox died), I started again and beat it in two days, without playing too often. This doesn't mean that it's a bad game, it's just very, very short.

Great Stealth Action

the original splinter cell game was immensely enjoyable and featured some breathtaking graphics. this sequel builds on that with added moves, improved graphics and yet more cinematic cut-scenes. but as another reviewer mentioned, it all seems a bit more alien, more arcane. not only are the voices subtly different, but the whole universe seems slghtly more distant than before. it certainly is more challenging and infinitely improved in many areas, but one does get the feeling that there's something slightly different, even wrong about it.
heavy going.

Sets the new standard for stealth based games.

Splinter Cell was one of the greatest stealth games of all time the instant it hit stores. But this exihilarating sequal will make you wonder why you bough Splinter Cell.

Single Player:
In Pandora Tommorow you play a stealth agent (Sam Fisher) working for the United States Government. It is your job to do the things that no one else does. Infiltrate foreign enemy territory and find plans, viruses, and maybe some French Brains (when you play it you'll know what I mean).

In the game you have a great variety of moves, you can use over 20 different stealth moves. Throughout the game you'll be shooting about cameras, hacking computers, slipping by motion alarms, climbing rooftops, dogding land mines, and thats just to name a few of the features this sequal contains.

Multiplayer:
If you thought the 24 hours it took you to beat single player on hard was fun. Wait till you kick on Xbox Live and put in Pandora Tommorow. You can either be a Mercenary or a Spy. It's two on two to complete various objects. Visually the multiplayer maps are just a little short of perfection.

The only problem I ran into in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorow it's that it sometimes can get difficult and turns into a trial and error thing, so if you're not a hard-core gamer, download a guide off the internet for a just in case situation.
