Alright 40 bucks for this, thats CHEAP! I bought this along time ago around the first week it came out, but GTA 3 And Vice City thats good to put them together.
GTA 3 is a good game, graphics are decent. Decent guns. Pretty fun missions, im burned out on it now since ive beaten it a couple times. But if its your first time playing it or youve played it but dont have it, buy this pack!! GTA 3 is good, there isnt much of a storyline really you just work for money, but theres more of a type of story at the end of the game. This one is fun.
Vice City is the better one, newer than 3 and theres better graphics, cars and guns. Better and more fun missions, a better and more complex storyline. You will definately like this game. The missions are more fun, you can buy your own property and generate money through them. And this games storyline kept me wanting to play. Unlike GTA 3 where you have a pager you get a cellphone in this game, from a guy you steal it from :). And people you know will call you certain times during the game.
If you like the GTA games, or your new to this game and arent a hater on GTA then buy this now. Its DEF worth 39.99.

If you enjoy beating up old ladies, if you aspire to be a criminal, if you want to be a jerk or a criminal defense attorney, maybe this game is for you. Sure it's fantasy, but I hated the character, and wanted to play as someone else, namely a cop, so I could give the main character the beat down he deserves. Basically, I wanted to lose. Plus, the graphics are horrible, and stink of the game's PS2 heritage. The guy's legs look like sausages, and the other citizens look like circus freaks. Some textures on buildings are so blurry and low res it looks like an N64 game. The only good thing I have to say is the soundtrack is great.

I trully don't understand why everyone loves these games. I mean EVERYONE LOVES THEM. So, I had to see what the fuss was about and rented them. These games are quite simply disgusting. I mean, why does everyone like to run around killing the police and random strangers for fun? And this is waht leads to violence. Kids exposed to trash like this might do some violent act in the future due to this. This is showing unecessary violence and sex. It's so disgusting. You can run around with a chainsaw and saw people in half or kill cops or do whatever you want. That is perverted. And the people that made this should be ashamed. But, what's this? Everyone loves to play this game? Everyone loves to run around killing innocent people and hijacking people's cars for fun? You know, there's a big difference between Halo and this. They're both about killing people but in Halo, you kill aliens and in this you kill humans. Cops. Old ladies. It's sick. And perverted. I am disgusted that anyone would like such filth. Stuff like this shouldn't even be allowed to bought and sh** like this is influencing people to do stuff like this in real life.
No one should play this. It doesn't matter if you're 10 or 40. No one should. You want to run around and do anything that you want? Why don't you buy the simpsons: hit and run? It's the same thing without the perverted sex and violence. And to think that everyone loves stuff like this. Wow...

I can't wait for this item to come out!!! man I have been waiting for ever for Grand Theft Auto. I have played this game on ps2 and it was awesome besides the EXTREMELY bad graphics but the gameplay made up for it. I heard that the xbox version going to have allot better resolution though : ) But it aint going to be different from the ps2 version except the graphics. For the parents this defenently deserves the rating M. It is a very violent game running around Vice City doing dirty work for all the major drug lords , Killing gangs that are a threat, own a car business'es, ice cream shops, strip clubs, fly airplane's etc.

Here's my take on the Doublepack which is way overdue, but finely tuned for the XBOX system making the wait seem moot. The PlayStation2 verson lacked the ability to add custom tracks to either game, simply because the Hard Drive doesn't come out until Q1-2004. However, even with the expected arrival of the 40 GB Drive that launches with Final Fantasy XI, GTA owners still won't be able to customize the game for their feel unless an enhanced version is released. Now, you have both games at top-PC quality level (perhaps above -no fiddling with graphics cards and audio cards, just place the DVD-disc in and go) both graphically and in audio. The way these 2 games were meant to look, sound and feel. Load your music, and ride into the cruel streets of Liberty & Vice Cities. Another fine XBOX release and for the price, unbeatable.
Not for Squeamish, but boy this is fun....

Warning -- News Flash -- this game is not for the squeamish. If you've never heard of it before (as amazing as that would be), the game basically has you playing the role of a criminal looking to rise through the ranks of the criminal world. It is a MATURE title in every respect --- you will be basically breaking the law routinely, engaging in killing rampages, murdering for money or revenge, killing police officers, ferrying around prostitutes and the like. The two games differ in their settings and storylines, but are otherwise similar. What is most entertaining about these games is the fact that they are open-ended, meaning that you can play along to the missions (which is what you do to advance), or you can just roam around and have fun, wreaking as much mayhem as you like along the way. There are no rules, and this is the perfect environment for a criminal playing game such as this one. The environments are huge and immersive, and beautifully rendered in the XBOX version. But be warned, the game is definitely not for the squeamish -- if you can stomach it or aren't offended by the subject matter, however, the game is a must have. It's simply one of the best video games ever made.

Overall, a ton of fun. The ability to control the character and take actions is really rough and the graphics are pretty darn bad. To me it's like "B" game vs. movie. It's worth it's wait in gold due to the fact that you can have the character behave in ways and do things unimaginable for a videogame.

GTA 3 is my favorite game, Vice City is still up there, but i don't like it as much. This is the best thing that could've happened, now GTA 3 will look 400 times better, Vice will look 300 times better, and they will both look equally cool! In Vice City, the streets will no longer turn to water, and in both games all the little glitches are gone. The fade in is almost non-existant, both look realy smooth and have graphics that look next generation compared to the PS2 versions, or even newer PS2 games. Simply amazin', buy an XBox and this, forget True Crime, forget Halo, this is THE must buy!

Its overall much better than PS2. The most noticable improvements I've noted are: Project Gotham Racing graphics on the cars(in other words the cars look awesome), one of my favorite new features is the ability to listen to your copied songs during the game on your own little radio station, also if you busted open the hood on the cars you would notice the engine is highly detailed which is pretty cool. When I first got the game I was uneasy about adapting to the new controls since I was so used to the PS2 controls, but XBOX doesn't dissapoint. You are able to choose standard controls for the game or classic controls, which I chose. If you're not a gamer, get these games, you'll become a regular gamer. This is unlike any ...video games you have played before (I would just like to note that GTA Vice City is based on Scarface with Al Pacino and if youlike the movie you'll like the game). I would just like to say if you don't have XBOX, GET IT! If you don't have this game, GET IT! YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
