GREAT game, Now Xbox is perfect

i dont need to tell u how fun the grand theft auto games are most of have played them on playstation 2 before. but here are some advantages 1 its on xbox now 2 you can play your own music 3 the controlls and cheats are easy to figure out and best of all 4 its half price u get two for the price of one how good can it get i bought mine the first day it came out and im only 14. if u have an xbox and dont have this game by at least christmas you aint nothin

Glitchy but still fun

Let me start off by saying I have beaten this game to entirety on the PS2. (and I did not own it)

For the XBox, I give this game two stars because the controls are not easy to use. (aka not set up like the play station) For instance to target a person you have to cycle to the right until you get to the person on the left. Looking and shooting is also a problem because of predefined controls.

There are game glitches. Such as getting stuck on cardboard boxes. If you hit card board box while driving 80 mph it brings you to a dead stop. You cannot save certain cars in the garage, such as the police car. Your character gets stuck in walls way to easy. The Police also seem a little less effective.

These are just a few and I only played for 2 hours. I know there are going to be more error. I just did not feel like wasting my time. Find someone who has a PS2 and play it over there.

Last time I buy a port for the xbox before reading reviews.

In this game you get to kill people with guns, bats, anything you can think of. you do missions and get money after you complete them so you can get more guns and kill more people

Game has Software Design Issues

Pros:
- Decent game story line, and it is a classic PS2 game
- Good 80's music, but only when you are in a Car
- I like the Bikes, and there are lot's of different type of Cars, Bikes, and trucks to play around with

Cons:
- Game chokes very often, and doesn't allow switching ammos, and start flickering. (very frustating)
- Typical PS2 style rookie graphics. Screen is 2 pink, and poor map design
- Unnecessary controversy linked with this game (keep it away from kids and GF's)

I have to give this game 2*, b'coz of poor Software design, and poor graphics.

I would recommend renting it, before buying it.

The excellent graphics are great but why waist those on promoting abuse and destruction?

This product is adding to the numbness our youth already has toward care and concern for others.

Yes, we hope 17 and up are the only ones who can access this. However, we all know that this is not so.

I hope the authorities will take the time to realize their quick buck is not worth the deterioration they cause to the minds of the children. It is these same children that need to be taught how to be others oriented and not so self serving and destructive.

Ok this game gta3 is crazy! When they came out with the vice city ver. it was even better! But y do we have to wait so long?? now it seems dead. Any way, here r some hints: If u going to attck a gang that doesnt like u, find a rocket luancher and fire away. If u want to kill people but not get cuaght by police (not including helicopter) go to a car (that has a driver in it but its no moving)and hop on the hood. Start shooting away as u drive ontop of the hood. Note: U can get thrown off the hood! One more hint, dont cheat cuase then is u cheat ur a loser! (i cheat 24/7 so what am i saying????) any way, hope u have fun when it comes out! cya!!!!!

this game is so raw parents if you child is not at least 13yrs old you should not get it for them thats how raw it is

Well it's finally here for all of you Xbox cry babies in the world that wanted Grand Theft Auto so bad on there little stupid Xbox's. Shame on you sony and the producers for the game for giving it away to make a quick buck. Since when has there ever been a game exclusively for PS2? I just hope that sony keeps Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter on PS2 and not give them away to. I also read in some of the reviews that the game plays really crappy any way SCREW YOU XBOX I WILL NEVER OWN ONE!

I'm not sure how this game will be. Xbox is famous for jokin'
other games and messing them up. A lot of people say that this will have better graphics then the ps2, but i think yhat's BS!
ps2 is a really nice console and i don't think xbox has the capasity to receive better graphics then sony. Yeah, i have an xbox so technically you can call me a hipacrit for saying all this but i also have a ps2 and gamecube. In my overall opinion ps2 will always be better then gs and xbox, they have better games and controls, but it's ass holes like microsoft to get a hit game from somewhere else and jack the hell outta it. if your stuck with an xbox and you want this game by all meens get it, but if you got a ps2 then you'd best get the gta series for that. remember, this is just my opinion so don't go tellin' friends that this is fact cause it's not. i've been gamming for7 years and have stayed up to date on most of the game facts
and stuff. I'm known as Mr.?, but i also go by the name as grasshopper. I'd like to start a "game chat" thing but i don't think i can. If you ever need info on any game,my opinion,or fust want to chat,you can reach me in amazons game lounge monday-thursday at 4:30 if you ever want to chat.i only check to see if anyones in there and if not i go, so you want to come exactly at 4:30.
