My sister and I loved Super Monkey Ball!! Our cousins brought their Game Cube and Super Monkey Ball game to our house one time and we were hooked on it. It's a great game for any age! It's one of those games in which you never get bored with, since there are mini games and party games hidden inside the game. SUPER MONKEY BALL ROCKS!!!

You and your family will love this game!

I have 2 children, ages 5 and 10. I was concerned that the 5 year old would resent not being able to play games on the Game Cube. I puchased Monkey Ball, and to my delight, the 5 year old is able to play this game (including some of the advanced levels)! The 10 year old finds it fun and challenging. All adults and kids who have played it at my house love it. There are many different games included such as race, billiards, bowling, fight, flight, and golf. Super Monkey Ball is a great value and provides essentially endless family entertainment.

this game is exquisit!

I know that it looks cutesy and weird and turned me away from buying at first but now I'm glad I didn't miss out on the unstopable fun! The Graphics aren't anything special but it's so much fun you won't even notice. The idea of the game is to move the platform of which your monkey (and his ball) are on and try to steer him to the goal! Some levels can get frusterating but it's never repatative. But I have yet to mention the best part of all! The Mini Games! There are six mini games: Monkey Billiards, Monkey Race (my favorite), monkey golf, monkey fight, monkey target, and monkey bowling. Every game is multiplayer and single-player which makes this the 2nd best party game on Gamecube. (right next to Super Smash Bros.) don't resist buying it because it looks weird or childish because gamers of every age will enjoy every minute of it

Addictive fun for old and young!!

I got this game for the kids but before I knew it I was addicted too!! What a great original concept. Kids will really love the fun that the characters and levels bring out. Multi-player is a must and my kids were always laughing like crazy at the racing action between each other. There are several various types of levels and other levels you can only get to by beating levels. Racing, battling, bouncing, flying, its all there and more!! A great addition to the Gamecube, especially if you have kids!!

If you have a gamecube, you must have this game

This game is totally and utterly addictive. I beat the Beginner levels after a few tries, and now I'm on level 15 of the intermediate levels.

Let me tell you how unbelievably simple, yet mind blowingly fun this game is. Fantastic title, and if you don't have it, you should.

This Game Is No Monkey Business

Super Monkey Ball is a great game. The object of the "main game" is to guide your monkey through floors to a goal while collecting bananas and avoiding obstacles. There are 90 floors, and each and everyone of them is filled with mayhem and fun.

The control is so simple, even elderly people won't be confused. Believe it or not, the only button used is the A button for actions, and the Control Stick for movement.

I think that the graphics are great! The Dole bananas look good enough to eat, and there even mirror effects! Sega (no, not Nintendo) made the monkeys look so cute!

If you need a break from the main game, relax with one of the party and mini-games. All the party and mini games make Super Monkey Ball seem like more than just one game. Although you need to unlock the mini-games, it's still a fun experience to play.

The multiplayer option for everything is just great!

I believe that Super Monkey Ball is a game that will go dowwwwwwn is video game history!

Marble Madness with bananas and monkeys

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 2 / 3

For those of you who are old enough to remember marble madness, you remember having to have a delicate touch, lots of patience, and a very steady hand. If you loved that game, then you'll simply adore this. Super Monkey Ball is needless to say, unique. I've never controlled a monkey inside a plastic ball before, until now. Super Monkey Ball focuses on you trying to manipulate a monkey through an obstacle course of bumpers, pegs, and holes, to the end of the course while collecting bananas along the way. The graphics on this game are very good and the animations are smooth. The play control is just what you would suspect for this kind of game, it's excellent. The sound and music isn't anything to note, unless you like hearing the squeaks of monkeys. As you go through the courses of varying difficulty, eventually your skills will improve. Also you'll collect points you can use to buy mini games. These games are the highlight of this title. You can go bowling, golfing, play billiards, race, parachute, and even fight with the little monkeys. The game is fun for one or up to four people. The maze navigation may severly frustrate some people, but that's not enough to keep you from playing this game. One problem arises in the redundancy of the courses. Eventually you'll grow tired of them. There's where the game loses a star, that and how mad the courses can make you. In the end though it's quite fun. Gotta love those monkeys.

Fun Game That Might Get Boring For Certain People

3 Rating: 3, Useful: 2 / 3

This game is nothing but a blast when you get it, when I first got it, I played it nonstop, but it gets partially boring, but still a fun game to play. Part of the reason it gets boring is the difficulty. I've beaten it in begginer mode, but I've only gotten to the 11th stage on advanced and the 5th on expert. And if you're good enough to beat begginer, advanced, and expert mode completely, you'll unlock master mode, which, as hard as expert is, must be impossible. The mini-games are a blast, which is the only reason this game didn't get 2 stars. You have to unlock three, and you start out with three. My personel favorite is Monkey Fight. You're one of Four monkeys(their names are Aiai, Meme, Gongon, and Baby, but it doesn't matter which one you use) and They all have huge Sockom Bopper Type Things to punch with, and you can have really springey boppers, or big ones, but you have to break open the box before anybody else does, or you don't get it. Monkey Golf and Monkey Billards I haven't unlocked yet, so I don't know much about them. Monkey Target I don't understand very well. I know how to play it, but I can never reach the target before I fall into the water. It's also hard because there might be spiked balls or other dangerous hazards you must dodge while struggling to stay in the air. Now onto Monkey race. This is just all-out pure fun. Bacsically you race around the course against three other monkeys. Nothing much more to say about it. Now onto the only mini-game I've unlocked, Monkey Bowling. Very Fun. You control where you go, how far, and how hard. That's about it. Now you're probally saying "This guy says alot of good things about the mini games why didn't he give it four, or even five stars?" The answer is, it'll never be worthy of five, and I didn't give 4 because it's not the mini games that count, it's the main cocept, which as I said earliar isn't that good. Wher're almost finished, I just have to give my final comments. Note to parents: worried about the increasing violence in video games? Want a totally non-violent and kid-friendly first game for your kid? Get this. The only violence is Monkey Fight, which isn't very violent at all. And besides, the camera is way high up, so you can't see what's goingon that well. Anyway parents, don't avoid it! In conclusin, You should rent it first, and if you like it, buy it. I haven't played 2, but I hope it will be better. Nintendo is still the best system made. Well, there you go, Android 21 signing off. PS. Sorry for any misspellings.
