Possibly the best platform game on the system.

First of all Super Mario 64 was a great game that deserved a decent sequel and with Super Mario Sunshine Nintendo succeeded.The gameplay and graphics are similar but the missions and story manage to be quite unique.I disagree that Mario is just a kid's series.Ive been playing the Super Mario games since Super Mario Bros came out on the original Nintendo and havent stopped since.Super Mario Sunshine looks absolutely gorgeous but some missions can be very frustrating.Most are really fun though.This time around Mario visits an island only to find out that its polluted and he is framed by Shadow Mario.So he must clean up the entire mess.The game is consistently fun and the clever missions should keep fans of Super Mario 64 pretty happy.

This was overall a good game, however, if you are expecting Marios usual Mushroom eating, Goomba Somping, Turtle Shell kicking game, then I will say you will be extreemly disapointed by this game, this was a big transition in Mario History, while a dought that all Mario games will be like this in the future for you disapointed customers, this is what they decided to do. But that did not bring me down, every gaming seies has to expieremement with a new genre or objective every once in a while. And thats what this game does, and does quiet well I'll admit. This game is filled with exciting levels and enjoyable gameplay and challanging bosses (and theres no more of the classic Bowser imposter on the bridge thing either). As well as levels that test your jumping and agility skills with moving objects. However, the only reason I give this game only 4 stars instead of 5 is that you have to think very hard to beat some levels, in fact, I've had this game since Christmas 2002, and even now in April 2004, I still haven't beaten it. But this is really only a very minor thing, plus I never read those strategy guides, so that kind makes things tougher for me. But who cares about that, it has everything you could ask for from a good video game, fun and exciting levels, a nice storyline, and decent graphics. Go Super Mario Sunshine!

This is your 1 and only chance to buy...SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE!!!It's great for only the people that like thinking games,but if you don't than don't get it.Look,Mario wanted to get a vacation from all the fighting stuff...but than his vacation has gone wrong.Fludd,a machine helps him. This game is the best game Iv'e played. If you are someone who likes fighters and shooters then this game is not for you. But this is the best platform game. It's exciting and fun yet calm and it feels like you're really on vacation. THe only con is that it is a one player game and you can't play it with your friends. It has tons of mini games, 7 different places each with 8 episodes each and a main place where you can practice jumping and shooting with Fludd. You'll get attached to this game in no time.

WOW! this game really blew me away. The graphics are fantastic (the water actually looks real). The story line is great for those of all ages (heck, even a 50 year old would enjoy it). some of the levels are challenging wich always makes it fun, I mean how much fun would it be to finish the game in one day (there goes $30). I would really recomend this game. Mario has never been in such a beautiful environment! what also is cool is that you get to ride Yoshi, and Yoshi can change colors!!!!!! I do wish you could chech into the hotel and stay there or something but oh well. You have to get this game. I really enjoyedit and I know you will to!!!!!!!

in this game Mario receives a very special water pack. with this water pack Mario can hover, take off with rockets, and go turboing on a super speed. But you must collect special boxes in order to use rockets and turbo nozzles. one nozzle is always with you, this one is squirt water nozzle, this nozzle will allow you to defeat the bosses. Mario has very special moves and things to help him scattered around isle delfino. Collect as many blue coins, shines, and coins. Yushis are back with juice they can shoot and turn enemies into cubes. Yushis can fly. to unlock the yushis, you must win episode 6 in Pena Park. After that shadow Mario will appear holding an egg. shoot down shadow Mario using your water pack, the last thing you have to do. is to give the yushi the fruits he wants. Mario sunshine is full of secrets and challenges. In an area, 2 of the 8 episodes are 3 D boober surfing challenge.

I think that super mario sunshine is an okay game as a thirteen year old girl i thought the story line was good but some levels were very boring and you did many things over and over again. I didnt finish the game because i got sick of it and after about a month I finally gave up ever playing it again.

it is a great game but it doesnt match mario 64. its a good game but its not that easy not that hard. its a pretty fun game though like dont think it sucks it is a good game like you know id buy it, but only because its like $30. if it was 50 darra i dont think so. but its a good game. i dont think its bad cause its like the other mario's. save the princess save the princess save her mario save her crap.

A WORTHY FOLLOW-UP TO MARIO 64

I LOVE this game. It is so awesome! As usual in Mario games, princess peach is captured. But this time, it's by a mysterious Mario imposter! You battle through seven levels, gathering shine sprites (which are the equivelent of the stars in Mario 64. Although the game has 120 shine sprites, it is less that half as long as Mario 64 in the sense that that had 15 levels and this only has 7. However, the game was overall awesome and I'd reckommend it to anyone on the face of the earth.

This is another Mario masterpiece. The graphics are great, the story is great, and it is challenging. The new waterpack FLUDD was a great idea, there are great new moves to master, and another bad guy? This is yet another step into history for Mario.
A MUST BUY GAME FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.
