Difficult to figure out

This game would get a much higher score if it wasnt so confusing. The game starts out a store but I cant seem to buy anything. Also to use the water jet pack that Mario uses can be difficult to learn. This game is graphical, but just too time consuming to learn.

Ok this felt like "SUPER MARIO WORLD" alot!!
But in a good way the areas are so huge that i had to take
a couple of minutes to explore all the different places.
The best part is "FLUDD" the talking backpack.
Altough his voice does get annoying but he just
talks in the cut scenes and intro but other than
saying "mario" during parts of the game he doesn't
talk much the only problem i have is not being able
to skip the cut scenes like in most other games but
oh well it's still ok. Now for the bosses...uh where
did they come up with these guys? I mean after the flower
thing then the bosses start to get really ugly but in the
mean way. But other than that they're ok they're not too hard
not too easy their sort of inbetween so other than that this game
is great!!!!! But i've only got too around world three or so.

Needs some slack...

This game was GREAT the first few times I played it. However, as it progressed, the levels got so ridiculously difficult that I stopped trying to beat them and kept playing the older levels...which got boring really fast. Haven't touched it since, I'm tired of trying to beat it and not getting anywhere.

I have had time to sit down with the game and focus on playing it.

I do really enjoy playing the Game. You can still get very frusterated with the game, and some things in the Game are hard to do; and hard to get. It is challenging. But I have gotton better at the game; and now I can quickly get many Shine Sprites. (It does take a while to get used to it) And it is a Mario game; which is a HUGE plus. Mario games always did (and this one is and has never been no exception) take you out of the real world and immerse you in the land of Mario. I'm not far enough yet to have all the games features like yoshi's and stuff; but I will continue to play it, even if do get frusterated at times.
It also took me a while to get into this game; but it has grown on me quite a bit.

Not a bad game actually; and it is worth the money.. just don't make the mistake I did by giving up on it so early on; it grows on you and becomes easier, but it is still very challenging and sometimes frusterating. At least it is not a game you can whip through in a week.
I would love to rate this game with 5 starts just for it being a Mario game, that is fun and interactive.. but I do need to take in account all my feelings about the game. So overall a strong 4.

This is a very fun game it is for any ages because it is a long game and the secret stars you can get over 120 stars and that is to many this will take you about five months or more and little kids mite need a little help. One of my favorites.Adults will love the is good and difficult game Go Mario!
P.S It is like the old marios that are very very fun!

This game is super fun to play. I only play nintendo systems so I was pretty disappointed with the lack of newer game cube games so I bought this one, since Mario games are my favorite. The game is pretty simple overall, in this one you play for shine sprites. Yet it's still fairly challenging, in fact I am kinda stuck at 40 shine sprites, but it's very fun to play. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Mario games, especially if you liked Super Mario Bros for N64. Plus it's really cheap.

Some people may like mario 64 cause i sure did. it was fun it had vast levels to explore and so on. this game on the other hand is totaly different. you have to have this water pack thing on. it really wierd the cause you cant punch kick or do anything good like in the old ones.In this the whole point is cleaning. it has nice graphics huge levels and so on. the gameplay is okay. I really recomend this for people who like platforming action

STOP!! DROP! and get glued to the tv.

this game will blow you away! my parents had to drag me away from the demo in stores!! i've been doing lots and lots of research on this game for the last month. the graphics are awesome. who cares about camera angles? you'll forget about them really soon! buy this game now!

super mario sunshine

this game is one of the best games i have played in a while. it is a great buy. Its one of the best mario games of all time. Not since super mario 3 has a mario game been this good although i liked them all. i thought mario 64 wasent that great, but this game makes up where it messed up. the only problem with this game is the annoying camera. it often gets in the way at times when you need it most. WARNING: this game is difficult. I dont care how old you are, im almost 16, and this game has me screaming at the tv. if you are wise you'd buy this game right now

The Sun Shines in Mario's Gamecube debut

For the first time a videogame has left me with nothing to complain about. The control is perfect and the new water cannon just serves to add to Mario's incredable collection of previous moves. The graphics are positively beautiful and are loaded with little touches here and there to add to the beauty. One such detail is since it's so warm in the game when you're outside and look in the distance it ripples with that heat wave effect just as it would in real life. If you already own a Gamecube buy this game you won't regret it! If you don't, buy one and this game, you won't regret it either (especially later when more Nintendo Gems like this one start hitting the shelves).
