This game is the most fun I've had in any game I have ever played. It's a game that deserves to be played again and again. For Star Wars lovers, this game is heaven. Choosing your path has never been more interesting and enjoyable.

Can't get the game to *start up*. I downloaded & installed the latest patch for the game, and all my drivers are up to date. DirectX is the most recent version. I have a new ATI Radeon 9200, which the retail box says is a compatible graphics card.

This has become all-too-common in the PC games industry, releasing games that don't work on certain video cards, etc.

According to many reviews, this is a really cool game, but it's not too cool if it doesn't run at all! LOL Now I've got to see if I can get the manufacturer to refund my money... wish me luck!

The game starts off slow but once you become a jedi and the lightsaber ignites forget about any semblance of a normal life. This is a warning to those who lead busy lives, like to get enough sleep, and keep regular hours.

One of the best I've played. v1.03 seems to be bug-free. You'll wind up staying up too late once you get started with it.

I purchased this for my husband and he hasn't stopped playing it. Every wife who has a husband into video games must buy it for Christmas.

Just started playing this game and I love it! mostly play games like Syphon Filters, Max Payne, Medal Of Honor series and such. Got a couple of hours into this and love all the side missions and even went into arena combats. RPGs are not my usual game, but this has a different experience than RPGs would give me. So this game is good for a first time RPG player. I did die a couple times and don't know how common this is. I messed up taking the strength drugs with the combat effects, such that I started fighting took a lot of hits, then the action to add the drug started. Which was too late. Hint: sell computer spikes to get more cash to buy medkits. 2 spikes is worth 5 kits!

This game might have been acceptable in the early 90's.
But it is painfully out of date.
The graphic are clunky and inefficient.
Inventory management is a mess, with all your items thrown together and only a handful visible at any one time.
It takes some serious clicking around to figure out which character is using what item.
And come on... a rancor corpse.. one sword swipe and *poof* it's out of the way.
Your characters keep getting in your way, so you have to witch from one to the other to move around in tight places.
Silly.

Combat is totally uninvolving, ranged weapons are almost useless for your main character, switching weapon from ranged to melee is totally impractical, NPC's all look alike. Well, you get the idea.

Remember when Lucasarts used to mean great games? X Wing, Monkey Island. etc.
Now they just turn out mediocrity relying on the pop selling power of this tired SW franchise.

It's sure to get rave reviews from major publications, given the fortune that Lucasarts spends advertising in said publications.

It's cool how you can get to be a good guy and a bad guy, and all these different kinds of characters. It's funny how the last battle isn't so hard. If you know the 'run around doing heals and killing the captive jedi' trick, it's pretty easy. Most of the game is fun, though.

Jedi outcast was the shiznitz, I don't care what anyone says. Any star wars game that allows me to run around and hack ppls arms off with my light saber is an A+++++ game. And now there's something potentialy better on the horizon !!

Old republic looks very promising. If the wookies are as bad a$$ as Klye in Jedi outcast it's gonna be ON. 2 wookies and a sith knight, that's all I'll need !!

Best Star Wars game yet...havent' seen ANY bugs

I had never played an RPG before (FPS is my thing) but I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I figured this would be the perfect game for me to try my hand at it.
This game is amazing! The graphics are mindblowing. The story is better than most of the EU books that are out there. Once I got used to it, the gameplay/controls were not bad either. I'm still feeling my way through the strategy, but that is part of the fun.
For everyone reading this...beware of all of the reviews where people talk about all of the crashing and bugs. Keep in mind that there is a VERY rare chance that you have the exact same computer setup as those reviewers. Don't let one person's bug problems keep you from trying the game on your own. I have not had any problems at all with a pretty basic/low-end gaming computer. This is a great game and deserves a chance. Enjoy!
