I first played Pikmin during E3 2001 in California earlier this year. I instantly fell in love with this game and really enjoyed it. The graphics during E3 were excellent with few problems, and the gameplay was great. I wasn't able to play this game very long, but it was one of the most fun games I played at E3, and I can't wait to play this game more.
Pikmin is the one interesting and involving game for Cube!

Pikmin, no relation at all to Pokemon bt the name, are little space creatures on a planet far away. In the game you are a spaceman who collided with a rocket and crash landed there and now must enlist the help of the friendlly little Pikmin to help him find the missing parts of the ship. The game takes place in days, each day there is a new challenge ranging from finding food, to fighting off huge spiders and other creepy insects and creatures. You see this amazing looking planet through the view of an ant. The graphcs are amazing in the game. Every tiny detail of the game has been perfected, when zooming out (R button) you see just how nice the world looks. I found the control setup of Pikmin with the GameCube controller to be quite good. You controll the spaceman and pull the little Pikmin from the ground, either one by one, or 50 at a time! Whereever you, the Spaceman, walk the Pikmin you have "In use" follow you around. AT any given time you can have well over 100 Pikmin active. There are also diffrent kinds who are good at diffrent things. The Pikmin are always doing something which keeps you interested as well at laughing at some movements. The sound of Pikmin is also very good, it always is active and sounds just like real life. So if you are into creative and innovative games, made by the creator of Zelda and Mario, Shigeru Miyamoto, then you have to check out Pikmin only for the Nintendo GameCube.

We all know that this series should have died ages ago, but the ignorant folks at Nintendo seem to have forgotten that. This game is repetive beyond belief. You will most likely find yourself dozing off while playing just as I did. You'd be better off saving your money for Super Monkey Balls.

Nintendo has been a fantastic company but it is killing itself with these kinda games. I try to find a way where I would be excited about gamecube but every game I look at it's made for a 5 year old. C'mon nintendo, I know you can do better than this. Lets see some RPG's and Shooters! No Pikmin (...)!
BUY THIS GAME!!!

This game is unbelievable! Control a whole bunch a characters at once...... stragedy, action, colide into one awesome 5 star game. Trust me on this one......it is INCREDIBLE! This is just about the best game I've seen in my life (besides star wars rogue leader - rogue squadron 2 which was equally awesome). If you dont get it, your missing out on an advanced, action-packed, strategic game. I myself am buying the GAMECUBE only for this game. Trust me, it is all worth the money. This is the best game you can get for a low price, the best game at any price! Anyway, I'm just telling you, being a gamer myself, BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!
PLEASE don't get this superb game get confused with Pokemon.

I went to my friends house to play his imported GC and had heard he received Pikmin. I thought it was just a different version of those games Pokemon. How wrong I was. I played the game to be accompanied by little creatures that look like carrots who would help me find the missing pieces of my ship. The graphics are amazing, as is the AI of the game. I would reccommend this to anyone. Just don' let it fall between the cracks.

Alright, first off the bat: don't judge this game by how it looks. Give the title a chance, play a while and then you'll know the true power of this game. The game is highly addictive and I'm almost positive anyony (of any age) can enjoy this game. The graphics are utterly stunning with meticulous detail to the backround. The game control is simple and easy for anyone to learn. Basically, you are a man named Captain Orima that crash landed on a planet and you are trying to find about 30 pieces to your ship with the help of these Pikmim. The game is great and I just ask all the stereotypical type people out there to give it a chance when it releases December 3rd.

DON'T BELIEVE ANYONE WHO TELLS U THIS GAME DOESN'T ROCK
ever since the reviewable version of this game came to my office it hasn't been left untouched
the only drawback is the length factor, but compared to many games, its still a long haul, Metal Gear Solid on PS1 was lacking in length more than this game
ADULTS WILL LOVE IT
KIDS WILL FLOURISH IN IT
PIKMIN is the pick of all games this holiday season, across all platforms
Don't judge a game by its title.

Okay, first thing you hear, Pikmin, first thing you see, wierd creatures, and you automatically think its an unusually conspicuous Pokemon clone, right? Wrong. Its not an RPG, you don't fight in turn-based battles, you don't collect a zillion different species of monster-things. This game is really nothing like Pokemon. In it, you play as a tiny space man who crash lands on a strange planet and has to fix his ship before his life support runs out of oxygen. Most of the things on the planet are hostile, but one kind of creature, a little ant/plant thing called a Pikmin, seems to like you. You eventually enlist the help of hundreds of these little things to find the parts of your ship that were scattered around the area. You can use the Pikmin to knock down walls, build bridges, and beat up the hostile creatures that live all around you and will eat your unsuspecting Pikmin. This is a completely original game from the master of all game designers, Shigiru Miyamoto.
This isn't Pokemon, get it straight!

Alright, first of all, this isn't Pokemon. It's not related at all. It is a totally original and fun game. It's like a strategy game, only with a Nintendo twist. I played this at one of Nintendo's Cube Clubs, and it was easily one of the best there. It is not a kiddie game, it's not Pokemon! Get it straight! It's designed by the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto, and is going to be a modern classic.
