Graphics are really good,environments are very big,gameplay is fun and if anyone complains then they are not a true Zelda fan.

I think this game is excellent in every way. Everything is top notch here. Although the camera is annoying, it doesn't really ruin anything. So you ask, what propels this game from being merely excellent to out-of-this-world?

Hands down the best in the series

Let me tell you something. Ever since the begining Link and Zelda have been in everybodys hearts. Every dungeoun you went through, every moblin you killed, every puzzle you solved, every sword you used and even every time you killed Gannon. See what I mean? Anyway back to the point. Zelda is the most well respected adventure series ever created. The games in the series are all plain genies. The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker doesnt stray from the formula that made The Legend of Zelda the hit that it is. The story begins on Links birthday when his grandmother presents him with the trademark green tunic. Supposedly the "new" legend goes like this....The land of Hyrule has long been forgotten but the legend of the "boy clad in green" still exsist in the people's hearts. At a little island known as "Outset Island" a custom has been passed down through the people. At a given birthday young boys are presented with the clothes of the "Hero of Time" and the elders hope to see the courage of the boys be as strong as "The Hero of Time" once was. So Link witnesses his sister being kidnapped by a giant bird and goes after her. The game is just gushing with beautiful gameplay and graphics....yes the graphics. They have been the biggest talk of the game since early screenshots flowd on to the net. The graphics are fantastic. hey make the game fell so much more life like. The backgrounds are beautiful and the facial expressions that Link has are clearly well done. The enimies even have a sence of A.I Im not talking about A.I as in being able to dodge arrows but for example they will run if you pull out a bomb. One enemy will attack the other if it drops its weapon. But to get back to the game itself I have a few final words. Mark my words threr will be no finer gaming expierence this year.

MUST get.

I think that this Zelda will be just as good as all the other Zeldas (thats a good thing). Even though the graphics are different, change is a good thing. Also, I hear if u pre-order it, you get a gamecube disc which has 2 versions of Ocarina of Time. The original Ocarina of Time, only for Gamecube instead of N64, and an updated version that was only released in Japan before. The only con with the Windwaker, is that for such a great game, it has a pretty crappy background for a box

This game exceeds far over the rest of the games in the Zelda series. There's only a few problems with this game. First is the gameplay, too easy! Come on! I know this game was made for kids, but you could have made it harder than that. I could be Ganon in 3 minutes flat. The other thing is sailing. Too long! It takes 20 minutes just to get to your destination.

The main highlight of the game is the graphics. Yes, I said it. I think the graphics were cool. Very unique, and that's what I think Zelda needed. All the other games were too similar. Hope you enjoy The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker as much as I did.

Look forward to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess coming November 2005!

The legend of zelda the wind Waker Is the second best zelda game in my opinion.If you have a gamecube i really suggest buying this game.ill show the good things about this game.#1good graphics #2long and entertaining#3very challenging in alot of the parts of the game (which to me is a good thing) here are the bad parts of the game#1 the characters look weird#2 it gets confusing in some parts of the game.in the end i really suggest buying the game not renting it first because its too good of a game.

Zelda & Link Never Disapoints

In all the Zelda games I have ever played they have never disappointed me. Although not very challenging, the story line kept me playing.

In Wind Waker the story was really good and had a few plot twists that caught me. Even some of the side quests i.e. the Nintendo figurine collection at first didn't interest me but after I got started It turned out to keep my occupied. I only wish the second quest were more challenging. They only changed a few things. But all in all I think that the game is well built although the graphics were not that much of a jump from Orcana of Time and its sister game Majoras Mask. Still need to get better voices though, instead of the occasional grunt.

But if you like adventuring and exploration this is one game that is simple enough to just pick up and play and not so challenging that you get stuck for weeks at a time wondering what to do next. Now I just can't wait till Twilight Princess comes out!

Every thing abpout this game is perfect in evry way! For the weird people who wont touch it because of its cartoony looks, well, their missing out big time!

So its Links birthday but his sister gets taken by a big evil bird so Link must stow away with some pirates to get her back. When Link gets to the fortress where his sister is being held, the big bird just chucks him back out to sea and leaves him for dead. Then The King of Red Lions, a talking boat finds him, and thats when the adventure begins.

The graphics are great, just get used to it!

The music is good especially in the battle for the hero's bow. I like the Irish type tune on the title screen too.

But heres where the game really shines! The battle system is the best of any video game! Doing combos or fighting Dark nuts or whatever it is your doing with your sword, it rocks! Every time I parry it becomes more and more fun! Also, Link can pick up enemy weapons, which is fun and essential for solving some puzzles.

So anyway, this game is an absolute gem, and its just as good as Ocarina of Time. This and Ocarina of Time tie for my favorite game. Play this game. Buy this game. Love this game.

Well, Here I am making reviews again! To get the band wagon going, I'll start by saying that The Legend of Zelda games have always been very good games, and this one tops the others. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is a great game that a lot of people throw away as kiddyish because of its cell shaded graphics, which is just ridiculous! Just play it and you'll now what I mean. Masterpiece. Yes, it is a masterpiece! Oh! Excuse me! Anyway, lets get going! First up,
Music 10/10
Come on! Everybody knows you need the right music in the game to bring it off. Otherwise, you get this game that just doesn't fit the mustard. I believe {and some of people might not agree} that the music in this game just fits and brings it off. For those that disagree lets make a comparison. Say You put Spider-Man The Movie on the GameCube against SpiderMan on the N64. Which one would you think that fits the bill better on music? Personally, I think it's SpiderMan on the N64. Just go play it! Music brings the whole experience out tremendously!
Now, here comes another one!
Gameplay 9/10
Ya, thats right! I put that score there. The gameplay machanics in the game latch on to what the other Zelda games on the N64 were. But only in a more dianamic way! All considering, if you don't have the gameplay machanics worked out you'll have another Batman: Dark Tomorrow incident! I'd say the gameplay machanics in this game are worked out pretty darn good, compared to the other game I just mentioned!

Ok,this is go where people go wrong. I mean really wrong! Sometimes judging the game by its graphics is like judging a book by its cover. And this is one of those times!

Good game, but horrible begining.

This is a fun game, but it doesn't start out that way. First you have to find your sword, learn how to use it, and all that stuff. But thats pretty much how it always is. When you get to your first, i dunno "level", i guess. The game gets really hard and agrivating. If you've played orcarina of time, you know the part where u gotta get around all the guards? it's like that only harder. After you've finally gotten past all that, its more fun after that. Basically after that you gotta go to the differnt places, like fire, water, earth, and what not. If you've played zelda games, you know what i mean.
Pros:
Fun game!
Good graphics
Challenging
Cons: (mostly what i personally didnt like)
New "look" for link
You have to sail everywhere, takes a while.
Got rid or ocarina, for a wand
Takes a while to find the tri force pieces (towards the end, internet is your friend for that part)
So basically, it's a fun game, with some boring/pointless/stupid parts.
