I never get the play the game in U.S Version (Didnt come out)
BUt the tight thing is that the No Zelda Game Has Been Boring (At least when your fighting).

(P.S= I played this game in Japan. (Auto Club)
And the game put the world into a creative Cartoon looking design with link during the battle.
Yeah sure you have to backtrack sometimes but the fun of it is that when you go back you have greater abilities and new weapons.

STORY= The game has something about Links sister being kidnapped.
This story has to do with Link saving his sister or something like that. Gannadorf (Like every1 says Or maybe some1 else) returens from the scene to do something evil or whatever to get revenge. During a tight spot you need to solve new amazing puzzles.

Beyond the generations this game has good looking attacks and whatever and you need to rely on your skills talents.

The Zelda game maybe a cartoon animate But thats the point of the game. Some mini 3-D smoldy looking graphics. (I rate it 1.)
So whocares about the graphics thou. The game has good fighting and forget the story you can fight bosses and rely on your skills to kill everyone on your sight.

Mini games (Like most of the Zelda games) Has advanced toward Windwaker.

Who knows if they changed something on U.S you can pre-order it and see how good or Weird--(Maybe) The game is.

If your asking me buy it.

(RELEASE DATE- 3/24/2003. Wait for it

Go to the movies eat french frys do whatever and be patiant.
The games gonna be Superb.

( If your really really hate the cartoon graphics of this game then Isuggest that you dont buy it until another Zelda or good game out there.

LUV IT!!!!

When I got the Gamecube when it first came out, I was, how to put it, a newbie to the whole "Nintendo" thing, and the only reason I got the Gamecube was because I wanted to finally have a game system and I liked the Mario games (I was around 8-9 when I got it). The first two games I got were Super Smash Bros. Melee and Luigi's Mansion. They both were very fun, and very challenging. I beat Luigi's Mansion (with the help of a friend) within a year of buying it, and still haven't gotten every hidden stage in SSBM. I loved the games, but wanted more. I heard some buzz around the classroom that a new Zelda game was coming out! "What's a Zelda?" I thought to myself, so I looked it up online. All these things popped up saying some weird think called the "Wind Walker" or something. I wanted to see some images from the game, so I looked that up. After correcting me that it was in fact "Wind Waker", I saw that the graphics for the game were amazing! It looked like a cartoon! I needed to get this game when it came out! I waited for months, until it finally came out! I ran to the toy store... and found two things: 1. It was $50 2. They were all gone. I was very depresssed. My cousins had already gotten it, and they were raving about how amazing it was! My birthday was over 6 months away, so I had no chance of getting it any time soon. June came, and it was my sister's birthday. We went over to my cousin's house to celebrate, and guess what she got from them. That's right, she got the Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker. We came home, and at once, started to play. The game was not only extremely fun, but extrememly challenging! It took us over a year and a half to beat it! The game itself was very hard, but all the side quests that can distract you from the game are the real reason it took so long to beat it! The game has more twists and turns than Lombard Street. Get the game now, or feel the wrath of Valoo's mighty flame!

Um I guess so

Well I am an avid fan of the Zelda series and I was fairly dissapointed with this latest enstallment. First of all I don't know what they were thinking with those terrible graphics, but they just started the whole game off on a bad note. I was hoping that maybe the story could pull this fading game out of the sewers, but I was wrong as I forged my way through a mediocre (at best) story line. Sailing from Island to Island is probably the single most retarded feature of the game, The islands are too far apart and sailing all over the world is extremely boring! Lastly I was extremely suprised at how easy and fast I beat the game. I would reccommend a rental, because If you rent it for a couple days it is more than enough time to beat the entire game.

disappointing

I just received this game yesterday night, and I didnt really like it. It was boring after playing it for an hour or so. I think Mario would be better than this, but then again..I have my own opinions. I got the collector's edition zelda..And i didnt like n e of the games.....they just seemed sort of boring....but i have my opinions and u have yours.... I would recommend bomberman generation as a great game for all ages!

A long time ago when Zelda first came out, it was a lot fun. The graphics were really cheesy but still a good time. Now, the graphics are still cheesy but the game is terrible. There's nothing worse for a game when you can't speed up the conversation; and there's a lot of it in this game. It is one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. I think this is one game you should rent first before buying, because it really is frustrating.

Okay I saw all the E3 crap and I'm like all wowed and stuff then BLAM Links got FRIGGIN tiny feet and a huge head. God I was expecting much better. Some of the dungeons were original, SOME. I kinda liked one boss and that was in a temple at the end of the game. IT MADE ME LAUGH. So I figured out that it also had a crappy story line. NOTHING compared to Ocarina of Time. Link was mature and the game had blood and gore pretty much. Now links sister gets caught by a fat bird with a fudging mask over its face. Dont even buy it. Buy it if you want to laugh.

Great game, not so great graphics

Nintendo has a fantastic reputation for making spectacular games, the cream of the crop in RPG are undoubtably the games in the Zelda series. With Zelda you can expect the game play, story plot, characters, sound track, using items/weapons, interaction, controls and graphics are perfect. All of these elements are represented wonderfully on Wind Waker...except the graphics. I just want to say when I got this game in Japan I was extremely disapointed by the graphics. Remember all the good times you had with the Zelda Games for Nintendo 64: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask? Link as a kid looked around 13 while as an adult (yes, I do know he should be 7 years older) he looked about 17. THE LINK IN WIND WAKER LOOKS LIKE A FIVE YEAR OLD DRESSED FOR HALLOWEEN IN A COSTUME HE HAD MADE HIMSELF!!! The graphics made me sick. Ok...it is acceptable for GBA in Oracle of Seasons/Ages and A Link to the Past to look like this but on Gamecube the graphics disgust me. Before you purchase this game please look at the avalible pictures on Amazon.

Indeed the game play is superb and sound track is nice enough as you would expect with any Zelda Game, but the graphics dont look one bit at all 3D in my opinion. If you can stand these cartoony graphics I would definatly buy the game, if not, wait for the sequal and hope the graphics are better.
