New Expansion Pack

Although the Sims franchise is becoming dated the new Superstar expansion pack gives new life to The Sims. It adds amazing new features to the game and is a blast to play.

Good game with small annoying attributes

Last week I bought the game. WOW! I mean, this is the next installment, I can get FAMOUS! Well, the items are great. Studio town is fantastic, especially the karoake songs your sim can sing. But a couple of things annoy me.

1) Christina Aguilara, Avril Lavigne, ect. All you can do is ask for autographs. Big deal! And can't we get any other celebs WORTH being on this game? Maybe giant celebs like Paul McCartney or Al Pacino?

2) Gaining Celeb points: You need to get 2 famous friend star points to get above full career star 2 rating. To get the celeb friends you talk.... and talk.... and talk. You get MINOR interaction when gaining star friends. This is excruciatingly hard to do.

3) Everything else is great!

I haven't played the game yet, but I want to know, will it work on my mac? I haven't seen a copy being worked on for macs and I really want the game.

When you think the sims were doing good they made them dancing,modeling or singing stars. Was this a good idea. well it is different but I think there are better ideas for expansion than making your sim famous. How about things

Ok I saw the commercial for this game and i had to have it so I went to get it....I got it home and the installment went great but when i went to play it it would barely run i mean it would freeze completely up and I couldnt even play, I ended up having to lose everything i once earned like 300,000 dollars! Ah. So after I had uninstalled it I returned it got a new one and HA! The same thing happened.... I hate the game only because I can't play it and I want to really bad!... But hey maybe it's just my bad luck...

Really awesome game, y are so many people giving it 1 star?

I love this game. I just bought it a few weeks ago and I really love it. I don't understand why people are saying Maxis is putting bugs in the game, sometimes you get a defect game!!!(Although some games are just REALLY bad!) Anyways this is a great game, with cool new objects like Scuba and Skydiving, but they're kind of expensive and unless you use cheat codes you can't get much besides the Ez Sleep bed and an 85$ TV. There were 4 new channels added on to my TV because of the satellite dish, and there's a new place called Studio Town. It really stinks because you can only visit Studio Town once a day.

The sims superstar is a great game to play...if you can get it to work. Ever since I bought it, I've taken it back 3 times, been in tech chat for hours. Not only am I having these problems, but many of my friends and their families are to. The sims superstar expansion is great when it works, but it's not worth the trouble.If you want to continue playing your other expansions, don't buy this.

i love the game i have almost all of them i even have the sims 2, but i have to get a bigger computer to play it if i could i would play them 24-7. but i am going blind and i need a better computer to play the sims 2 on.. love amazon .com to great service fast and great.......thanks

I am a huge sims fan, and this is one of the best expansion packs!!

In this game, you get to make your sims become famous actors, models, or rock stars!!! It is quite hard though, with you having to make friends with famous people, and having to visit studio town constantly. You also have to gain skill points just like a job, but you can do it!! One of the best parts of Superstar was when you meet real life celebrites, like Christina, Avril, and Marilyn! Its cool because your sims go up and ask for their autographs, and they do this strange knee dance.

New things in this game include new items, like a flat screen tv, and there is a butler you can now hire!

BUY THIS GAME!!!!!
