i really hope this expansion pack is gonna be good. from my understanding it will be released may 19th. a cool thing about this is in unleashed you already got career tracks to make you famous but not from a world prospective. this new expansion pack gives you the chance to be a hit record producer, a television acotr, a movie actor, or even a model i think. ...also there is going to be a fully costumizable world for your sims in the sims superstar like hot date and vacation, superstar allows you to take your sims to another land where there are lots for movie houses, sets, television screening(something like that) and spas cool styff like that. also you can finally have a heat sweater machine! should be very cool. you can have a mud bath and from the screenshot it looks like they even put pickles on thier eyes! lol i really hope this helps anyone who is just learning about this new upcomming expansion pack. i knew unleashed wouldn't be the last one as people really thought!

Once there, Sims can schmooze, network and name drop their way to stardom in the movies, music or fashion. Will your Sim be a flash in the pan or a living legend? Players can now track the sizzle of their Sims with an all new fame score.

A new cast of comical characters are available to assist The Sims in their quest for celebrity. A fabulous fashion designer, a mega-hit record producer and a maniacal movie director are available for career critique. A capable butler, a savvy sushi chef, and a soothing masseuse will be on-call to administer to the every whim of a celebrity Sim. Life in the spotlight would not be complete without the glare of the paparazzi, the adoration of groupies, and the annoyance of an obsessed fan or two. This is all part of life in the spotlight in The Sims Superstar.

Sims can become a celeb or just live like one. Fabulous new objects like a skydiving simulator, satellite dish, and a new art and furniture collection can turn an ordinary Sims abode into a magnificent and decadent manse. Sims in need of a day of indulgence and pampering can also enjoy the new day spa, complete with mud treatments, steam baths, Sim massages and an oxygen bar. First and foremost, The Sims (all) is one of my all time favorite pc games and frankly, one of the best games ever made!! They way you can control some one that's like you or someone completely different is soooooooo cool! Everyone thought that The Sims Unleashed was going to be the last of EA and Maxis' Sims Game, but boy were they wrong. It will keep on getting better with every new Sims game they make. So I highly recommend that every Sim game owner buy The Sims Superstar. I can't wait untill May 19th!!

Just released from Maxis and EA. There will be a new sim expansion pack comin' to town: The Sims Superstar. This expansion pack should be the best one yet! It is equipped with the most objects that Maxis/EA has EVER put in an expansion pack! The game is supposed to come with a lot of wild things! If you have The Sims Unleashed, then you will also get some cool celebrity pet skins! Get your sim a new job as a beautiful model or an awesome actor! There are many more jobs for you sim to get too! If you get a job in the Entertainment category, you will actually be able to go to work with your sims! Maxis adds another area that your "celebrities" work at and hang out at. You could go to work on your all new movie or have a visit at the world famous spa. That includes: Mud Baths, Oxygen Bars, Massages by the special workers, and so much more! ...Thanks for reading!

First off, this is the SIXTH expansion for this game. I don't know if any game has ever had this many expansions. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them, but six? anyway, this looks like another great expansion... As you've seen above, this game adds one new feature with three categories. Become a celebrity in any or all of the following areas: music, modeling, and TV. Of course, there will also be new items and such, and the usual yadda yadda that's been coming with every pack since hot date. Although, with five expansions already, my computer is swiftly losing ram in this game.

Is "The Sims: Superstar" Really Worth It?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not so sure about this new "Sims" expansion pack, "The Sims: Superstar." Is it just me, or is Maxis overdoing it a little? I mean, this is the SIXTH expansion pack for this game, and although they've been pretty good so far, I'm getting kind of tired of it now. It really seems to me like their running out of ideas (or trying to boost their sales by leeching off of the "American Idol" hype). On top of that, you can ALREADY become a movie star, fashion model, or singer through the other expansion packs; why would you want to follow them to work? Isn't that what you do in "Sim City (1-4)"? Isn't the main difference between "Sim City" and "The Sims" supposed to be that in the latter you only follow them to work and in the former you follow them everywhere else? And let's not forget about the fact the "The Sims" takes up massive memory on your hard drive (I know mine will probably explode if I add another expansion pack). So, before all of you Sim fanatics out there blindly rush out to buy this on May 13, just ask yourself one question: "Do I really need another 'Sims' expansion pack?" If they answer is yes, then go right on ahead; but if not, don't waste your money if you don't have to. After all, it's just a game, right?

YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME! I heard that this game is supposed to be the best Expansion Pack yet. You have to get signed by a fashion agent a music agent or even a movie agent. You follow your sims to work and control how they work, how cool is that.You can get a mud bath a massage or even a flight simulator. Tere are over 150 new objects and more interactions for your sims. I think that this Sims Expansion pack is going to be the best one yet. First of all in Livin Large you got a heap more careers, but thats it! No other expansion packs, to my knowledge only Living Large and Unleashed came with different career paths. I am looking forward to the release of The Sims: Superstar the most because first of all, you get to record your own music (and i presume sell your cds!), star in your own movies! (I also presume you sell the movies too!) and to tell you the truth...I couldnt care less about the fashion career. Anyway, I cannot wait till this game is released and maybe Maxis have over done it with the expansion packs but - THANK GOD THEY HAVE, CAUSE` SUPERSTAR WOULDNT BE COMING OUT IF THEY DIDNT!
