A HIT!!

Since The Sims came out a while ago it has been a hit! Every expansion or new product launched is better than its predecesor. I bought this product for my 16 year old daughter. She loves it very much and plays with it fairly often. The graphics are very good and you have the option of building your house, designing the exterior and interior. Drive your car, do things, go places, wonder, travel, get in love, get happy and sad...dance, have a good time...this is a great video game. There are plenty of options to choose from...very easy to understand and to play. Very easy to get to know the tricks of the game too!! The only downside of this game is that people don't talk!...I haven't got used to the idea of people mumbling at each other and pretending they are saying something!! (well, maybe is pretty similar to real life anyways..).
I'd recommend this product for kids ofer 14 years of age.

Nice addition

I was so excited when I finally bought this game on Amazon on last week! It arrived to my house earlier than I thought, and it was much needed to add dimension to the game. I like having my sims go to school and be in a dorm. It brings back so many fond memories when I was at college. Only thing I wish they could have added was more of a selection of clothes and hairstyles. O and I do wish that I could see them in class instead of them disappearing off the side of the screen when they stand on the sidewalk. However its exciting to see them build relationships that could help them get into a frat or soreity! I wish I could have bought the game sooner, but I got the OFB and then Night. I like em all! I recommend these Games to anyone.

(On the side note I have experienced some slow loading, but thats it!)

Overseas shipment arrived in very reasonable time with very clear instructions as to how to load the game. Contact with vendor was easy.

I have had nothing but a terrible experience with this game. I ordered it, tried to install it, didnt work! I kept getting errors saying it couldnt transfer media files. So I returned it, they sent a new one, and BAM I ran into the EXACT same problems with this new one!! No more for me I just want my money BACK!

I always tell myself I am not going to spend anymore money on the SIMS but I do and I love the expansion pack

about $30 isn't that expensive for sims games, they can't make a profit if it costs more to manufacture them than to sell them, no matter how many they sell!

So Much Fun

University is a good game. I have not had any of the bug problems noted so far. It has great objects like, musical instrument, career objects, and alot more. It is a little long, and sometimes boring. I still like taking my sims through college. Their are alot of many things that are great about this game.

Nice game, but not for me..

Well, I never liked school, so this game is not for me.
But to be objective, you should owe this game in order to activate many custom contents. It has some good stuff, like instruments, new objects, so on...

Few bugs, still great gameplay!!!

I have been a fan of the Sims for three years now and The Sims 2 is like going from a vanila ice cream cone to a banana split. It's amazing! The EP University is a great addition. I love the new life stage and the bonus of the new careers when you graduate. I've expirienced a couple of bugs but I found the fix in forum discusions and was back up the same day. The worst of the problems were initialy due to non compatible custom content so not Maxis. You have to understand that if your going to downlode custom user created content for the game it's your responsibilty if your game goes buggy. The other bugs do not make the game unplayable. This game also needs a fairly good graphics card to play smoothly in some of the larger dorm settings. All in all it's definately worth the money.
