Great Expansion Pack

I didn't think I was really interested in this particular expansion pack. But many of the downloads on TheSimsResources requires this pack, so I bought it for compatibility.

It's so much fun!! I like being in a house with lots of Sims to interact with, without being responsible for them. It's a great way to build up relationships that they take with them when they graduate. Plus they gain skills that they can use as well once they're done with college. Overall, I'm very pleased with this expansion pack.

EA RELEASED A WHOLE LOT OF DEFECTED GAMES!!!

I, like many others, can't even get the game to install itself, even after meticuously following EACH and EVERY suggestion and troubleshooting tips. I wasted HOURS trying to get this damn thing to install itself. I have already returned the first copy and now the second copy has the same problem.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, AT LEAST UNTIL A BATCH OF NON-DEFECTED CD'S COMES OUT!!!

Crippling bugs, even after the patch

I'll be perfectly honest, I haven't even gotten to the playing in University portion of this game. See, I decided to play the normal sims section for a bit before going into the new sections. What I found was that the expansion had rendered almost all the characters unplayable. Any families where the maid who was previously present, discovered she couldn't leave. Random tasks trapped sims in loops. Characters went downtown and never exited the taxi ever again...

Here I am, a year after the initial release, trying again now that a patch has been issued 10 months later. And ten minutes into the game two characters are trapped, having snuck out and been swallowed whole by a new or unresolved bug.

So I still haven't played the University portion. After the patch, this is still a major disappointment.

Lost Sims

Whenever I go to the Sims 2 WEB site and try to download any sim or object or lot that is for both Sims 2 and University Pack I get a message that says I cannot download it because I am missing information from the expansion pack. As of yet I have not been able to get a response from EA Games or Maxis as to resolution of this problem.

I like the improvements they added to this game , very few new items, Clothing , Hairstyles, beatiful grapics, the sims, Have new item Like cell phones, Mp3 playes and & Handheld games to play though new added clothing too.

it's worth it though if sims can live more different. don't miss out on this game expansion pack.

Overall, this game is a lot of fun to play and a worthwhile expansion to The Sims 2. However, some scenes may take a while to load (such as Sims visiting community lots).

It sucks, don't buy it. It won't even install. I've bought it 3 different times and the same error. From what I understand I'm not the only one either.

This game is AWESOME, one of the best expansions the Sims has ever had! Must have for any Sim fan or for any hardcore gamer!

I really like playing Sims 2 and I have all but pets and seasons of the larger expansion pack. The problem I have is with my computer. You need a lot of memory and a good graphics card for these programs to work otherwise your computer will freeze up.

What fun!

Just love those Sims games! I have been a fan since SimFarm and SimCity. EA hasn't disappointed me yet!
