I can't even really play. It moves so slowly. I have a new computer it is only 4 months old and more than half the memory is not used yet, so I don't know why the game is so slow.

forget the jobs there stupid with this cheat you can buy eney thing you want I will give you a hint my dog loves tv my dog saw an add on tv it said you can win the motherlode of dog food.so my dog bot the motherlode of food. now can you see want word that was in the sentence.

Well, what to say. I have all the expansion packs to the old games. When I heard that this game was going to come out I decided I was not going to buy it. I eventually did and hate it. My computer is less then 2 years old and the game has made it so slow. I wont be able to buy expansion packs because the stupid thing takes up to much room. I uninstalled it and put the old Sims back on. I am so much happier.

I had to make sure online that this game existed. It is so cool. Giant mansions and awesome features like better graphics, genetics, and advance social options. The best (sims) game of all time! No one who believes in fun in life should be without this game. If Amazon would let me, I'd have givin' seven stars! A MUST-GET.

When I got this game I didn't think it would be as good as it is. On my computer it installed great with no problems. The graphics are great. I got realy bored of the first Sims game but I love The Sims 2 and have been playing it almost everyday. Get this game! You'll love it!!!!!1

I love the sims game and actually buy every expansion pack that comes out. I'm a big fan of the creators and owned the first "Sims" as well all expansion packs that came out. For each new expansion "the sims 2", there is something new to it, whether it's new building tools, a new way to seperate room, or a new character added each one is worth the price.

I absolutely love this game. have been playing since it the original Sims came out Each expansion has its pro and cons.But you its nice to have them all to get the full effect of the game. They are all interlinked in one way or another.
I can get these animated people to listen to me most of the time when no body else will listen. Its pretty cool to have your sims have a baby and watch it grow up maybe go to College (if you have University) get a job maybe own a business (Open for Business expansion) go to a nightclub and act like a idiot
(NightLife expansion) I have not bought pets because I have read on sites there are too many bugs in it. Some people have had it not work at all after installing it. So I am too chicken to buy it and not have it work. I will be getting SEASONS soon. That one looks to be cool finally Sims will have rain snow lightening falling leaves sun and all the goodies that we ourselves experience every day! Sims2 Rules! I should know! lol
Recommended for those people who have plenty of time to sit in front of the computer. Very addictive!

Difficult to install but found the answer

I finally got the thing loaded. After several tries on two computers to get the cds to load past disk 3 I finally got smart and went to the support website. techsupport.ea.com

Normally I don't bother because these tech support sites tend to be worthless. But not the EA support. I was impressed how quickly I found the answer I was looking for.

It was actually a hint for loading an expansion pak but it worked for Sims 2 as well. I made a folder on my local C drive called Disk Images. In that folder I made 4 folders: disk1, disk2, disk3, disk4. Making sure no space was between the word and number. I put in each cd and cut and pasted them into each folder. Then I went to the disk1 folder and double clicked on autorun.exe. It installed all four folders in no time.

Great graphics although the houses at night are very dark without buying a lot of lamps. But I haven't played it much yet.

The game is fun, but it keeps crashing :(

The game plays fine, but sometimes it keeps crashing and freezing. I have to keep restarting my stupid computer. It's annoying! My specs are P4 2.66Ghz, 512MB, and Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB.

I don't know why it keep crashing. My specs are high enough.
