A GREAT game, and it NEVER ends!

OK. I got this game in the middle of 2007 summer, and i have had it half a year now. I have gotton two expansions, and i am hooked. This is the #1 gamethat i play! There are only a few downs.

CONS
1 It takes forever to install (who cares, it will pay off) -1/2 star
2 It might get boaring to some for a couplem days, then you are hooked again. -1/2 star

PROS
1 You can make the sims look as freaky as you want, and no-one will say a thing! (though I do think they THINK it.. ;P )
2 You can have kids and grow them and start a family from 2 to 10000.
3 You can have 8 people in your family, and that is alot compared to the gamecube amount of sims. (whitch i USED to play)
4 There is alot of detail put into it, and it matters when you play.
5 There are tours of the game PUT INTO THE GAME! You don't have to read the manual 20 times anymore!
6 There are tons of expansions, whitch two i have.

Over all this is a REALLY good game!

I found that the only new features were aging, and jobs for teens. If they could just create an expansion pack with the 2 things I mentioned above for the sims, then the game would finally have basically everything needed. I find that the Sims 2 people are really annoying, I now realize that I liked the Sims with a few expansion packs better. It (The mega deluxe sims) is definately more fun and has it's faults too, though I noticed it had less. I highly reccommend The mega deluxe sims. Mabey Sims 2 is for you. It has aging and jobs for teens but not very many outfits and the items don't look very good together.

Many of the people around me know I'm just as obsessed as one could be with the Sims. I loved building beautiful houses, making families, and watching them grow. The Sims 2 has everything that was missing from the Sims: genetics, aging, and much more. With more customization possibilities than ever - you can customize everything about your sim: eye color, hair color, eye shape etc. and their furniture: fabrics, stains etc. - no two people's games will be alike, let alone two sim creations. With 6 life stages: baby, toddler, child, teen, adult, and elder, you can watch your sims grow up, have babies (yes, the conventional method, not just by kissing!) and pass on their genes, and finally die. You can create an attic, a third floor, foundations and decks! Windows and doors can go on diagonal walls!
With the camera man mode, you can zoom feet overhead or mere inches from the ground to capture every perspective of your sims.
The Sims 2 will be the best game ever!

THIS IS THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!!! I WAS SOO EXCITED TO HEAR THAT THE SIMS 2 WAS COMING OUT . I READ A LITTLE ABOUT IT
AND WAS EVEN EXCITED THAT YOU COULD PUT THE WINDOWS DIAGONALLY.
THE SIMS MAKIN MAGIC WAS A PRETTY BIG DISAPPONTMENT SO I DON'T REALLY RECOMMED YOU BUYING IT.

6 stages of life. 4 stores including a basement and an attic:)
the release date is not for sure it may be march 15 or feb 15.
feb 15 would be best 4 me;)

I too love playing The Sims, including Sim City and another type of simulation game zoo tycoon. This new one should be great but how much memory am I going to need. Oh man I'm going to have to upgrade to a faster bigger computer! I better start saving.

I'm beginning to wonder if the sims 2 will EVER come out. They've pushed back the date SO MANY TIMES. The reason I'm wondering is because that's what they did with Simville. They said it would be out by early 2001, then it was late 2001 and soon they decided not to release it!!! What the heck, I'm still waiting 3 years for a stinkin' sim game! I'm thinking that is what's happening with the sims 2... they give you a good glimpse of it and then decide it's not worth their time. I would be one bit surprised if it ever came out. I'll believe it when I see it!

by kyle: I think the sims2 is going to be the best sims ever with the new graphics being added in. I've heard that thier puting new lighting, body actions and intoractions plus a heck load of new objects and building objects.The characters can even have weddings and insted of just babys thay age from 1:babys 2:toddlers 3:teenager 4:adults 5:oldies.i cant wait for it to come out.

i started off woth 'the sims' then gradually as the new expantion packs came out i got them now i think i have 7 of them. i think the idea is amazing! i got 'The Sims Makin' Magic' not long ago and i watched the preview for the 'Sim's 2' now i can't wait till it comes out in england i shall definetly have it on my birthday list in the summer !!!!!!!!!!
