Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 was a very nice game,but when I heard that Tony Hawk 3 had hit video game shops, I knew I just had to play it. The first time I played I was so excited to play another Tony Hawk game.The game was very exciting with tons of Pro Skaters and if you play hard or enter a code,you will be able to play with Darth Maul and Wolverine. The game was very cool and had very nice graphics instead of the first two Tony Hawk games. The controls seem much easier and new tricks and combos have been added. In conclusion this is one of the best games I ever played.

Tony Hawk 3 is the best Hawk game to date. Every character is back, except for one, which I can't remember, but I do know he was replaced by that guy from Jackass, Bam Margera. The graphics are awesome, the levels are detailed well, and another cool thing: each character has diffrent level goals to complete. You can now edit your player's tricks without sacraficeing anything, too. There are also a lot of cool secert characters which inlude: Darth Maul, Wolverine, Kelly Slater, Ollie the Magic Bum, and more. I'd tell you the cheat, but I can't seem to remember it........................................!!!!!!! It's: YOHOMIES

MAN IF U WANT A GAME WERE U CAN SIT HOME FOR ABOUT 2 HRS. AND HAVE SERIOUS FUN THIS IS YOUR GAME!!!!!! THE GRAPHICS ARE SWEET AND THE GAMEPLAY IS EVEN BETTER, PERIOD.

Now...the title of my review and my rating may give you the impression that I really wasn't very impressed by this game, but that isn't the case. The graphics are great, so are the stages, and I like the game modes and internet playability.
The only things I have against this game are...well...first of all, maybe it's just because I'm not big on skateboarding games, but...I played the first and the second Tony Hawk's...but with the third (which I DO own by the way) I realized that..."hey, I'm doing the same thing over and over." There isn't as much challenge as there was with the second one. What happened to the gap list? That was a challenge...maybe a little too challenging, but still...it was challenging, and it gave you something to work at for a good month or so, and you earned special stuff for all your troubles. With the third, you still get that special stuff, but you have to defeat the same ole' career modes over and over...like...29 TIMES!!

This...this is tedious.

But if you really like skateboarding games there really isn't much competition to the Tony line. Oh...and the things that the pedestrians say are hillarious.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is the best skateboarding game this year!
I got the game last christmas and i still can't get my hands off it! The grafics are awsome and so realistic.

The new park editor has more stuff to put in you park like...lava,water,a loop to loop,and way better halfpipes then THPS2!

Create-a-Player gets better with new clothes,faces,and you can even create a boy or a girl! This is the hottest game!(until THPS4 comes out).......

This Game Is DA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Graphics is fab you can even see the Grips at the bottom of the Skaters Shoes The Little details Like Gravity,Blood when they Fall off.The gameplay is fab ive had the game since it came out I play on it everyday an ive still got loads of Tricks. I thougt there was a lot of Levals To start with Then i found you unlock about 7 more In carear mode Buy It its the best! Buy it Of amazon.com the Best Site on the Web.

I got this game 4 days ago and it is the BEST!Graphics:10
Gameplay:9.5 Level Selection:9 The downside is there's no
Bob Burnquist(I rule with Bob Burnquist!).It's a challenging
game but don't let that get you down. With improved park editor and better 'make-a-skater, this game is definately the best skatboarding game ever.

One could percieve the 3rd installment of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater as, well, a vast improvement. Graphics, oh my the glorious graphics, and even some internet play if you can find a way to hook it up. Under any case, the game brings you several intriguing goals which, after a while, can become quite easily done if you're on the tenth completing through. This was the only problem, is the lack of replayability I found. Sure you have multiplayer (online or otherwise), but we need variety! Actually, I'm glad they mixed up the letter placements and like 2 missions depending on the type of skater you are, but this doesn't cut it for someone like you or me. If you liked the previous games, you'll love this one... (And don't expect much out of First Person View, but it's not bad...yet you need to beat the game with every character, get all gold medals.)

What a game. This is what a game is all about. I know there are some people out their that are very disappointed in how this turned out, but I have a theory on that, they played THPS2 so much that when THPS3 came out it played the same for them.

Well I have THPS and THPS2, and after a while I moved on to other games, sure I picked them up every now and then, but after completing them 90+ percent...well it got a little old.

Not in this game. The graphics are by far some of the best that the PS2 has to offer. The create a skater is a lot of fun, and takes up very little of memory space to save them.

The game play is very tight. Sometimes to tight! Sure the career mode is the same, you know collect S-K-A-T-E get a certain score, but they added fun things to do like "stop the pick pocketers", "bury the dude throwing snowballs", "unstick Chuck from the flagpole", "squash the pumkins", get the "satelitte working" to name a few. This is just the top of the barrell folks. The two player mode is great. Plus it has the option of online play.

The only downfall is the music. While it is appropriate of the game and genre, well some of the songs are just annoying....not all just some. So I give it a 4.5 but I decided to just round it up to five stars. This was fifty bucks well worth spent.
