This game is the greatest game ever!!! If you put a skateboarding game and combine it with an RPG you get THPS3. It is challenging but a fun experience. It's not only a skateboarding game. You have "goals" to complete, using real skateboarders, or other characters such as; Darth Maul, Wolverine and a created skater.My kids won't stop playing it and im sure you or you kids won't either. This is the perfect gift for any gamer.

I seriously thought this game was only going to be for kids that skate (sorry I hung up my skateboard almost 10 years ago) and that it wasn't going to be challenging... this is starting to be a growing trend with me because I was wrong. This was an Excellent game and it truly deserves some recognition throughout all of the other great games that are on the PS2.
The graphics are excellent, very tight, clean and very detailed. The gameplay is great and it's never really the same game twice and the soundtrack is just great. Perfect skater music and it actually flows with the game (unlike how Pharaoh Monk did a song for John Madden 2002).
Seriosly, get this game. I was turned from a skeptic to a fan overnight. I'm definately waiting for the next installment of this series.

I have read in a magazine that you cane go online with this game. Here is the what the magazine had to say. "When developer Neversoft crafted Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 for release in November they built in online support-even as Sony quietly delayed the launch of the Network Adapter. So if you already own THPS3, you've had the first adapter-ready title under your nose this whole time." You can find about this information in a Electronic Gaming Monthly Magazine which is on page 102, issue 155 with the SOCOM US Navy Seals on the front cover of this magazine.

At first, I didn't think that there would be any major improvements in this game besides the obvious graphics boost from the PS2. Hey, I've been wrong before. This game is amazing above and beyond THPS2. The graphics of course are amazing. But more importantly the game play has improved tremendously. The first thing that you'll notice is that it is alot faster and smoother than the first two games. The park editor has also been improved. The soundtrack is a mix of rock and hip-hop, which is a nice gesture to both kinds of music fans, even if the song get old after a while. There are countless little things that improve the game, including more realistic bails and slams. (When are they going to add injuries and fatalities to the game?) Skaters will appreciate the details this game the most, but it still seems to have a strong appeal to non-skaters as well. Must-have game? Definitely.

THPS3 is awesome. It's much different from THPS2. Especially the graphics. (Well THPS2 is on Playstion 1) You can find cheats in almost any cheat book, and if you don't want to cheat, every time you beat the game with a person, you get either a new person, new level or new cheat....Buy it if you don't have it.

I first found out about TH's Pro Skater 3 when I saw it in GameStop in the "Best Sellers" shelf. So, I bought it. I LOVE IT! It is the best skating game ever, there are absolutely no cons in my opinion on this game. Here are the pros:
*The music is awesome, and the beats of the songs make you wanna keep doing tricks in the game as if you are really skating.
*The moves are really cool.
*The levels are outrageous and fun - my favorite one is the Cruise Ship.
*You get ADDICTED to it - the good thing is that even if you play it every day for 10 years, you will never get sick of it.
There are many more pros to this game, but the main message I am saying is BUY THIS GAME.. EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE SKATING .. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 ,is one of the best skateboard games ever created .The controls of the game are excellent with large boards and inteaction with people .Tony Hawk's new great with 12 skaters .And there are new objectives in THPS3 career
mode .This game is definitly worth it. ...Once you start the game ,it's difficult to put down ,due the fun of the game .You don't have to be a skateboard fan have fun with this game.

Well for all you new gamers out there, yea Tony hawk is the best game of its kind ever made. But if you really think about it, so was tony hawk, 1 and 2. I hate that companies find somthing that works and dish it out to us helpless consumers year after year. But I can't help it. The game is perfect. Huge levels, huge air, huge fun, I could go on and on. Tony Hawk 3 is Tony Hawk 2 with a different feel and gorgeouse graphics. And you know what, that's not at all a bad thing!

Whether it's spending hours alone mastering flip-trick manual combinations or playing head-to-head with your friends, the slick, addictive gameplay and masterful execution of this game is bar-none. The one player mode offers a depth that goes far beyond the Tony Hawk games before it, with more airials, kickflips, and the much-needed manual. However, the real depth of this game comes with the multiplayer mode. Whether its battling on the 'net (one of the few PS2 games supporting this feature) or just bumming around with friends, this game is sure to garner heated debates as to how one of your friends managed to pull of a 700,000+ combination (yes, I've done 'em, though I've yet to get past a million!!!!) This game is a must have for all PS2 owners. The control is top-notch, the attitude is Tony Hawk all the way, and the replayablity is unrivaled. A must pick-up.
