I never played the first one. However I do play this one ALL THE TIME!!! Its incredible. I dont skate, I never had intrest in a skating game, but for some reason I received this for Christmas, and I havent stopped playing it. It is simply amazing. Everything about it, there are no flaws.

THPS2 is the greatest game ever made. At first, I thought it was gonna be exactly the same as the first one. It was so different I couldn't believe it. The graphics are a whole lot better. .... It has groups that are atually famous. And as if that wasn't enough they let you create your own skater and skate park. There are also secret characters including Spider-Man. I am a huge Spider-Man fan and when I found this out I was amazed. .... This is the greatest game I have ever played.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 rocks! In this game, unlike the first, you can create your own park and skater! They each take up one block of your memory card, but who cares? For one block, that game has great graphics! There's a cheat for it and your skater can fly around! There are even food moves! They're called Melon and Roastbeef. There's a demo of Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX if you go to the Options screen. I hope my reveiw was helpful to you!
