I bought this for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas and his father took it away from him due to the nasty language and songs on it.

Pro skater 2 is my favorot game. It has cool graphics and awesom parks. after the first time i played this game i staarted skateboarding because i saw some of the tricks you can do and i thought aw cool.I thinkthat if tou have a play station you should get this game

This game is so much fun! It is very addictive at first, but after a couple of days, you get sick of it and dont play it anymore. But if you are looking for a good couple days of fun definitly buy this awsome game!

This game is so cool. It users the same game engine as its predecessor but this time we are treated to new (bigger and better) levels, new challenges, new tricks, more secrets, new tunes (this game boasts a brilliant rock/ punk/ hip-hop soundtrack), better presentation, the create-a-player mode and, best of all, a level editor, to design your own tracks.

The reason I love this series is because they put the `fun' factor back into gaming. A lot of games nowadays require you to study the manual or sit through patronising training modes or video footage before you can get into the action. However, with Tony Hawk's you can get straight into the gameplay, and, although it may require a little practice to start getting the points, the learning process is just as fun. The gameplay has elements of the one-on-one beat em up games, as you have to pull off tricky joypad manoeuvres and combos to get the points, and I also noticed that there is a retro element to the game, as racking up points and trying to beat your high score is a key factor here, and very few modern games deal with scoring points.

This game will last ages, there are so many game modes and challenges, that there's always another reason to return to the game. This is also a great game to play with friends, as it's great to show off you skating tricks and there is also a fun two player mode. My final opinion is that this is an essential purchase

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Two is the type of game that you sit down to play...and 5 hours later you are still playing it. It is a highly addictive thrill ride though many skateparks and competitions. It improves on the original greatly. I say this because in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Two (or THPS2) there are more tricks, more points, more specials and a lot more fun. Also, in THPS2 you can buy stats, tricks, skateboards, and also special tricks. This makes the game different for you every time you play it. Another fun feature of THPS2 is that you can play the game with a created skater. In the create a skater feature you choose body type, skin color, hair, clothing styles, and more. Also, you can both name your skater and set their ability level.

I must mention though that this game is far more challanging then the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. There are more level objectives (what you must complete to 100% finish the level) and some of these objectives are very hard to complete. Also, a new twist for THPS2 is that you are no longer playing for points (as you did in the fantastic original) you are now playing for cash. The cash is what allows you to purchase certain tricks and stats through out the game.

This is a great game BUY IT!!

this game is much better than the original. It has great graphics. You can be a lot of differt skate boarders including of course tony hawk. You can make up your own skate boarder and make your own skate park. You have challenges that if you suceed in them you will get money. Some of the challenges deppend on the course, but challenges like sick score come on every level. With money you can buy stuff like new moves, skate board, and skate park of course. You keep on going up levels. You can find secret levels. This game is very fun and exciting. If you have a playstion, playstation 2, N64,or computer this is a must get game. I played this game for a first time and i was glued to it. Even if your not good you still will love this game.

If you own the original and got tired of it, don't buy this one. The levels are incredibly similar to the first, as is the gameplay. But there is a whole bunch of stuff you can do now such as unlocking Spider-Man as a charactor, opeing new parks etc. The new career mode lets you edit tricks your skater has. The create-a-park is a pretty good feature, but don't expect to make a huge level because the game only gives you so much space. Try renting it and if you don't get bored of it in those days buy it. You have a lot of stuff to do and it will take a long time.

this game is really cool cuz it has really cool levels(some inspired by real places:the school2:gonz rail was in shorty's video, and tc's roof gap was in round 2- rodney mullen and dewon song.

That playstation still has life in it...

With the release of PS2 coming up, a lot of people are going to start forgetting the playstation. Here is a reason not too. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is one of the best games for playstation EVER. It has 13 different skaters, all with their own distinctive styles and moves, 9 sweet as can be courses, a sick Skate Park Editor (which I played on for a good 7 hours last night, and will never get sick of it), a Create a Skater mode with an overwheleming list of options, excellent multiplayer, great soundtrack if your into rap/rock stuff, and some incredible graphics for a playstation (bright, crisp, clear, no graininess). This has become my all time favorite game of all time, and I promise if you liked the first one, you will be addicted to this one. Again the Skate Park Editor is REALLY cool, probly my favorite part of the game. SO BUY IT, NOW, IT WON'T LET YOU DOWN!
