Super Mario Brothers is, in my opinion, the best game ever made. Everything about it is perfect. Mario is an incredible, addictive, wonderful experience that every person in the world should have. If you have never played and/or can't get the original, BUY THIS GAME!

Great!

This game is the same as the nes version! The only differences are that you can save the game
Make your way through 8 worlds while killing many enemies, and passing obstacles such as fire in this classic game. Get items to help you along the way such as a leaf that will allo you to fly, and collect coins to get extra lives.
The sound, graphics, and gameplay are great.
I would recommend this game to any mario fan.

This game blew me away back in the NES days, running and jumping through every level was smooth and addictive. The longevity of the game was tremendous, 8 worlds divided into 10 levels each with one boss castle. The main objective of the game is to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser in his castle in the final world. The first world you start off in is quick and easy, and if you watched "The Wizard" you would know how to retrieve the 2 and only whistles in the entire game. The second world on the otherhand got al ittle tougher and required a little more precision and less speed as more enemies we're getting closer aprt. The difficulty slowly increaes as you progress. You can aquire certain power-ups for Mario such as the good ol' mushroom, fire flower, and other various suits that I will get to later.

This is, after all a port of the Supe Mario All-Stars version of SMB3 that was on the SNES. There are a very few little changes that i noticed such as placements of enemies but I don't want to get too picky (hehe). And so new features added to the GBA version is well, not much really which is a good thing. The only real difference you will find is that Mario and Luigi has speech samples which are unfortunently the same reused voice samples from the past Super Mario Advance games, and once you complete the game you can choose any world and go through any levles you missed or want to repeat again. That's it but there was also another additon but it is only available to those who own an E-reader. You receive bonuses such as new levels and power ups but nothing much. The cards come free with purchase inside the box. Not only does it have SMB3 but it also includes the arcade classic "Mario Bros." This game was already in the last 3 Super mario advance games so it was dissapointing to play it for the billionth time.

The controls are great, it feels natural on the GBA and the sound is a little off from the original version but the catchy tunes are still intact. A genuine rare masterpiece overall, the game is great for passing the time.

What an excellent revival!!!!

I loved this game back in the olden NES days. When this game came to the GBA I was very impressed with what has been done with it, there is no downfalls, only improvments!! The game is just the way I remember it with a few add ons here and there... a very excellent game revivalof the super woggio brothers 3!

Tho the name is confusing, it's Mario Advance 4. Yet it's Super Mario Bros. 3

Another cool thing about this version, as well as a few other things, if you have a gameshark, there is a code where you can use the flying cape from Mario world (4)!!!

it rocks

i got this game about 5 months ago. it was really fun and really hard. it is like advance 2 only with 8 worlds. mostly every store sells it for $34.99 because it is so good that people will by it anyway. well save $7.00 at amazon.com. you get a choice to only play as mario or play as mario and luigi. there are 2 worlds where you should only play as mario worlds 2 and 8. because the fortress in world 8 is so hard that most people need to use a gem cloud witch lets you skip the level. but you'll need 1 with mario and luigi if you use mario and luigi. so just make sure you have a gem cloud and only play as mario in world 8. also in world 5 there are two parts to it and to get to the second part is hard so only play as mario so you don't have to do it 2 times. well buy this game already.

Blast from the past

If you ever played the Super Mario 3 for the old NES, this is exactly it, only in game boy form. Has all same secrets and story; still so much fun to play! If your NES doesn't work anymore but you still want to play those old memorable games, this is one to go for.
