Well I never really liked Mario 2 back in the NES days because it always seemed like you could never get very far in it. They finally fixed this up and made the number of hearts plentiful and fixing up the graphics a LOT!!!! The original mario brothers is good too but Mario 2 is the real star of this game. I recommend you get this even if you didn't like Mario 2 originally.

Okay, I am going to straight out say it: This game is awesome!!!! Even though I gave a review to SMW before this it was definitly worth the wait. So I recomend anyone who likes or has once favored Mario and the gang(being: Peach, Luigi, Toad)to buy this game right now!! Bye, and thanks for reading my review.

ok let's get one thing strait, if you only want to buy the game to only play the classic version your better off bying Mario Bros. Delux. This game is really fun even so its a remake of the old version for NES , its like you live your younger days again playing this game. I definetly recomend this game.And the best thing about this game is that you can be new people instead or just mario. you can be : Mario(duh) Luigi(pasta boy is back!), Toad(alright) Princess(must be da money lol)

When I was a little girl, Super Mario Brothers 2 was one of my favorite games. I spent hours and hours playing that game. When i found out I that Game Boy Advance was coming out and that one of the first games was Super Mario Advance (aka Super Mario 2), I was a little afraid. I didn't know how Nintendo could put a Nintendo game on a small Game Boy. But they need an awesome job! The game is just like I remembered it... fun and challenging!

This game is the same as super mario bros. 2 on NES. It's back and it's better on Game Boy Advance because you can save. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad adventure through an incredible fantasy world on a quest to save the day, with little more than vegetables with which to defend themselves by throwing them at enemies! Open secret doors with a special poition or by going in a vase, it may give an extra heart(if you have none left you lose a life) which could add to the max hearts at a time. If the door or vase is near a pipe then you can go in it and then you can warp to a higher level. Also fight bosses such as Birdo.
Certain characters have different special abilities, so certain characters have to do certain things. Use your judgement and try to figure out the best character to use.
As an added bonus, Super Mario Advance will also include the original Mario Bros. game.
This game is very fun, very addictive, and has good graphics.

Contrary to the editorial review Mario 2 first appeared on the Nintedo console not the super nintendo, though an enhanced edition did apear on snes, this one goes far beyond that. Though it does not show off the true power of the advance (which blows the snes away) it is an extremely enjoyable title that all new school gamers should get so they can get a taste of what gaming is all about.

This game has great graphics,gameplay and sound effects. If you love the nes version then you will love Mario Advance. Plus they have the classic arcade Mario Bros. Both of the games are very fun. I would recommend this to any Mario Bros fan. Enjoy!!!

This is the first Mario game for the GBA, and boy is it a treat. The game is a very good port of the NES classic. This is, in my opinion the best of the original Mario bros. games for the NES. The controlls are very good. Well most side scrollers had good controlls. The graphics and sound are top notch. There are tons of levels to explore. You can chose to play as Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad. My favorite being Luigi. You can pick up plants and fling them at your enemies. Sometimes plants turn up to be a good thing, sometimes a bad thing like a Bob- Bomb. A must have for any Mario fan.

I have been a Mario fan ever since the Super Mario Bros came out one NES way back when. Although this is not my favorite of all Mario games, I still like it because of the different controllable players and neat sets. It's a must if you love Mario games.
