Sonic the Hedghog for the GBA rocks! One of the best handhelds I have ever played. With many different worlds and different levels within those. You can play as four different characters including: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles & Amy Rose. Many different moves and a very cool feature called the "Tiny Chao Garden." This is especially fun if you have the GCN and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (as well as the GCN/GBA link cable). In the tiny chao garden you can get some rare and exclusive eggs with the rings you have collected in the two mini-games and adventure mode. Such as the Gold, Silver & jewel eggs. If you love sonic and have a gba, I would definetly recommend this game. I would have to say the levels are a little bit shorter and more simple than I would like them, but it's still a cool game for your collection.

This is a great game overall, but there are a few points. One would be the harder than heck bonus stages. The Chao Garden is a welcome addition, but a little boring on the tiny screen if you don't have Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
This game is pretty good on it's own but I wouldn't buy it if I did not have SA2B.

Note: Someone asked how to attack the Zone6 Boss with amy:
First, like with any other character you have to jump and land right next to EggMan, then jump above him and use the hammer to simulate a balled up hit, then MOVE! and repeat

Definitely geared toward Sonic fans

My best friend's a Sonic nutter and, consequentially, loved this game, but I ran into the same problems that have frustrated me with every Sonic game since the beginning of time. It's so fast, you can't really tell where you're going 'til you're somewhere else. Since the levels are designed for speed, the game doesn't really encourage complete exploration of each level, like a Mario or Kirby game would. The player selection is certainly exciting, but adjusting to the various controls is no easy feat (think Super Smash Brothers, only waaaay harder). And as for the much-acclaimed Chao pet feature, I'm not really impressed. The instructions are supremely sketchy, so after a week with the game, I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do with the little sucker. All in all, great for Sonic fans, not so great for those of us who can't keep up. :-)

Few levels, but a lot of fun

I got the game recently, but had longed for it for a long time. It is a great game, so far. I have been playing with tails my favorite character and already reached the 6th zone our of 7. This is a little short in my opinion, because it takes me forever, such as never, to complete a game. But I have not gotten very far in the in the other characters shoes. I have not tried the versus mode yet, so when I do, I will re review it. So in my opinion, if your willing to spend the [money], then I suggest you buy it. But don't purchase it if you are one of those people who finishes games in a single day. In that case, rent it, because it takes a long time to get every single secret.

Sonic Speeds to the GBA

Sonic Advance is a game where you have to go get some rings, collect chao emeralds which are hidden in secret levels, and you have to defeat Dr. Eggman.
You can choose from 4 different characters: Sonic the hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles the echidna and Amy Rose. Each character has different types of attacks.

This game is a must have. The only thing i can complain about is that the game is to short. When finishing the game you keep waiting for more. But the is worth the [money] that i spent on it.

It has great graphics, the gameplay is cool, the story is good, the control is easy to get used to.

First I'd like to say that the graphics are unbelievible.It stunned me. When you start the game there are 5 diffrent modes. In Gane Play Mode you can be Sonic, Tails, Knuckles,and Amy. Each have thier own individual moves and attacks. And last but not least the last important thing is the game is FUN!

The game is awesome, great graphics, and way better than the one on Sega Genisis! you can even play multiplayer with link cable!
has sound tests, modes, and much much more! you can play as 4 characters! Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echinda, Sonic the Hedghog, and of course my favorite Miles (Tails).
the game has enhanced graphics, and you can even play 8 levels!
actually 15 levels! It even has that COOL yellow hedghog......SUPER SONIC! but to do that you have to get all the Chaos Emeralds! I only found one right now, bad thing bout it is that i beat it in two days! but thats cause i rushed, i'm the PRO at these kind of games. even has a mini game called Tiny Chao Garden, where you train this tiny thing to be an adult and you buy him food and toys and play game to get rings to buy you food for your tiny chao!

I l9ove this game!! The levels are challenging, the graphics are good and the music is good. It has great replay value and the Chaos are so cute! but the bosses aren't to easy which makes for a very enjoyable gaming experience. And all the characters u can be adds to the replay value!! This is a great game for the car i highly reccomend it!

This game is pretty cool,butits just too easy!But to make up for that,theres 4 characters with different abilities to beat the game with.so that makes the game longer.
