A Great RPG

I'm a giant fan of all RPG's, and I have The original Golden Sun, all of the Pokemon series, and countless other games. I seriously believe this is a great game. While the bosses aren't -too- hard. I'm around halfway through the game, and I have loved the music and graphics. I'm now a HUGE fan of this series. If you don't decide to buy, at least borrow it and be hooked.

I thought this game was tottally stupid when I first started playing it, tottally stupid. Someone suggested the I get it and I did, becuase I had just got the system and I was ready to play a game with some grit. Anyways I plugged this into my system and I had to do the one thing I hate at the begining of any game, sit through a boring movie. I haven't played the first one and I wouldn't really care to this one is probably better... oh I'm off track again, I think I'll cook up some bacon and put it in a sandwich with cheese and then cook it on thee stove and I'll enjhoy it. Oh so anyways, the game is dope, you won't like it in the begining but if you soilder it out I think the game will grow on you like, a, uh... cyst, I guess. Anyways the game is dope, it is fun and I'm actually kinda liking using logic in an RPG. I'm glad the old school of RPG is at least enjoying some sort of a short lived revival, it makes me glad that there is an actual focus on GAMEPLAY (FUN) and not STORY (RENT A MOVIE IF YOU WANT A STORY!). I have a beef the size of Texas with new school RPGs, I seriously do believe that FF7 was one of the last breaths of the genre, before it became overplayed, overproduced and unnecessarily ran into the ground by the next nit with developing company who wants to cash in on the next big thing. Man I miss those days of jumping accross gaps and solving puzzles, but the days are back. these game really reminds me of Final Fantasy Quest for the snes (but much better, man I dunno though lots of nostalgia there) there are battles, there are puzzles (yeah you have to THINK to play this game, whoa!). Instead of going from every area to the next just to further the story, you are playing this game for enjoyment. I'm so sick of video games these days, I don't even think I'll bother to buy a new system (maybe the new game boy thing though, don't know) it seems like it's not about heart anymore, it's just about glossy movies and button mashing. Only game I can back is GTA, that's it man that is the only game out there today on the big systems that gets my respect. As for gameboy, mad props, though it is "cashing in" and to some seems overly revialist, I'd have to disagree. Is your NES portable? You can play Mario Bros. 3 in an airplane, come on! You aren't paying to rehash old memories, your paying to play games that you love anywhere that you want to play them. This game is fire and I'm sorry I didn't focus more on it, a great game all around. a good GAME one of the few and proud RPGs to be made in this century, piece to all of you friends, enemies, haters, lovers, fighters and gamers don't forget the good times with that two button paddle hashing it out, man it will stay golden, golden.

this game is alot like the FF series. there is turn based combat, magic, djinn (gaurdian forces), and crazy weapons. but the storyline is one that could be better. It gets very difficult and confusing in alot of parts. this game is related to the FF series but it would be its 3rd cousin so to speak.

ups: good graphics easy to learn

downs: bad storyline very confusing NO reviving items (pheonix downs) you have to go to a temple in a town

overall: not like thwe FF series for PS1

This game was born good . you play as felix ,isacs good old pal... it is basically an RPG (role playing game) I got the first ans second they both rule... if i was you i would buy it : 1. RPG
2.feliz party and isacs party are playable
3.just buy it

I found the game to be pretty good on its own, meaning not owning the original Golden Sun game. I missed out on the first and now I can't purchase it besides second hand, and after playing this one I intend to do just that. The story kind of kicks in a little bit before the end of the first game I think and basically you start with a bunch of level 1 characters so it IS a new game only expanding on the original's story. Overall its highly playable and easy to get into. I'm on my second game now trying to complete it.

in my opinion this is the best game for the GBA it has great sound is very challenging has great graphics is very fun to play and has a ton of replay value. Do not buy this if you have not played and beeten the first one but trust me and i have like 20 games this is well worth your money, will keep you busy for a while and is without a doubt the game of the year if not the best GBA game ever! So go and buy it right now or I will track you down, take your money and buy it for you. I'm serious.

This game is the... BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. How the crap did they do this with just a GBA/SP? I've beaten it and it calls everyone to play it. I cuold tell you the story, but it's too long. Rember this though, this is one of Final Fantasy's greatest rivals.

This is a great sequal to Golden Sun, one of the best RPGs ever. However, I have grown a liking to the original characters and the original plot. Although you join with Issac's group halfway through the game...it was still different. This sequal is definatly a lot "darker" than the first. Those of you who also enjoyed the cheeryness of the first one will not find that here. Although, this is an extremly good game, filled with lots of puzzels and item collecting. NOTE*** newcomers to the Golden Sun series will not understand the plot easily. it is recomended that you play the first on first and beat it.
The Djinn however are still in this game, with even MORE to collect. You can even transfer your stats over from the first game to this one. There are great new puzzles, monsters, and of course, the Jupiter and Mars lighthouses.
Great game. If your a fan of RPGs, or just like playing a fun game, the final instalment of the Golden Sun series isjust for you.

golden sun the lost age is one of the best games of all time.This game cotinues on from the first game golden sun.

*music(i have no idea because i played this game with the music turned off)

this game is one of those games that makes your heart beat faster and faster just wanting to know more about the plot.This game is pretty challenging you'll have to train your characters an awfully lot becuse the bosses are pretty hard,but not to hard that it will make you want to quit the game and have nothing more to do with it.This game deserves 5 stars if i could give it more i would.
