After playing Golden Sun, I didn't think I'd ever find a game as good. Well, I was wrong! Golden Sun: The Lost Age doesn't really improve graphically from the first Golden Sun, but that's only because Golden Sun's graphics are already at the top of the line. The music's all really nice and catchy, too. I won't spoil the storyline for you, but it's full of nice twists and turns and you're sure to like it. The characters all have distinct personalities too, it's fun to listen to their dialogue. Too bad Felix, the main character, doesn't talk, but Isaac didn't either in Golden Sun. You also have little expression bubbles (smiley faces, for example), to show expression, which seems odd at first, but you get used to it. I'd say Golden Sun: The Lost Age is definitely one of the better RPGs I've ever played.
Awesome!

This game is one of the best games I have ever played! The graphics are the best! The story is great! The puzzles are hard which makes the game great! Everything about this game is great.
The game takes place right where the first one left off. If you are thinking about buying this game I suggest that you buy the one before playing it. If you haven't played the first one and you play this one first you might be confused about the storyline.
One thing I like about the Golden Sun games is that they are really long. The game is hard at times and I like hard games. I still have not beat this game yet! Is the game worth the money? YES!
BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Once again, Golden Sun reigns supreme as one of the best RPGs for the GBA. People who are waiting for an answer to the cliffhanger at the end of the first Golden Sun may be surprised to find that this Golden Sun features four new heroes (Felix, Jenna, Sheba and Piers), but there's no reason to worry; you'll team up with Isaac and the other characters from the original Golden Sun before long. If you played the first Golden Sun, you can even transfer your player data.
The first Golden Sun was nearly RPG-perfection, and The Lost Age certainly continues that legacy. The new Djinn and powers work in seamlessly with the old ones, and there is no feeling of repition; it's like a whole new adventure. And yet it's also the same old goodness. The Lost Age sports the same beautiful graphics as the orignal. The puzzles are completely new and problems you encounter are just challenging enough to make it addictive. It has a lot of dialoge and plot, and the fact that you are playing the anti-hero of the original Golden Sun makes it all very interesting and unique. It's also an enormous game - it'll take you forever to beat the game, and yet everything is so different and immersing that you just can't put it down. It's a wonderful and intelligent game that any RPGer must have.
That said, there are a few things to warn about. Both of the Golden Suns are very plot-based, and I'm not sure if someone who picked this game up without playing the original would understand what's going on. My suggestion is to play the original Golden Sun first, and then pick up this one; although they are both equally good, you'll understand and enjoy this game a lot more that way.
Altogether, I HIGHLY recommend this game. The Golden Sun series is one of the best on any platform, and a must-have for any RPG player.

Golden Sun 1 and 2 could very well be in the league of Final Fantasy games. I was surprised to see that Squaresoft didn't develope these games. They are both awsome. Camelot could be a very successful and well-known company if they keep up the good work. All-in-all, buy it. You won't be wasting your money.
Buy it now.

This is a really good rpg. Its almost too much for the small screen. (hmmm gameboy player?) You should definitly buy the first one first and play it through to get the background info and so when the two parties eventually meet up the old people aren't weak. (hope that wasnt a spoiler) This game improves slightly on the graphics of #1 and has a much larger map. It is longer, more ambitious, and has a better ending, too. Its a real time-waster for long flights- we're talking 30-50 hours of gameplay here (depending on how much you get stuck). You will probably need a guide or faq to refer to occasionally because its sometimes hard to know where to go. My only complaint is that there were not enough bosses. Battles are very tactical and take some deep thinking. (depending on who you're fighting) What I'm trying to say is, Buy this game now. (side note)Possible Gamecube port, I have heard.
RPG MADNESS!!!

when i first heard that there was a sequal to golden sun i was like cool! when i started playing the sequal(called golden sun the lost age) i was like WOOOOOOOOW!!! this game rocks!!! the grapics are very smooth and nicely detailed even on the world map. the battles are turn based giving you time to think about your next move. the battle system has many options= you can use magic(a.k.a psenergy), attack with a variety of weapons, unleash djinni (which are cretures with diferent abilities), then summon them, use an item,or defend. when you go inside a dungeon you will face a wide variety of monsters, and puzzles, or somtimes a challinging boss. all in all this game ROCKS!!! i havent even told you about half the things you can do like sail a boat, upgrade weapons, and trade items with a cow.
One of the best games

This is one of the best games I own. It has 30 hours of gameplay a secret hidden chamber and a lot more. The one thing that convinced me to by this is that it starts were the first one leaves of. It is a must-buy for anyone who likes fantasy games and has played the first golden sun
