You must be nuts of NOT getting the game, you MUST GET IT!!

How can I say all that I think about this game, well I can begin with this... If you want this game and you don't hae the first, get golden sun 1 before this one because you won't understand one bit of it and I mean it;
Well back to business.

Graphics: 5 Star

Comment: Try to find a game better that this in graphics. Its detail is unbelievable;

Stroyline: 5 star

Comment: This stroy will keep you thinking about even if you were tired of the game but remember you will never get tired of this game!

Characters: 4 Star

Comment: I didn't give this catagory 5 star because some of the characters are very weak in attack and HP but they will then have any PP and agility like Ivan in golden sun 1 and Sheba in golden sun 2. The best in GS 1 was Isaac and in this FELIX!!

Summons: 5 Star

Comment: The summons are unbelievable. Unlike the first game you can have a multi-summon (at least that is what I call it) For example 1 fire 2 mercury 3 jupiter and 1 earth, just an example!! I wish i could give this category more than five stars!

PS: Hope this review was helpful enough to let you understand how money can be useful! Not some stupid book your father would like!! ^_^

The sequel to the BEST RPG EVER

There's good news and bad news about this game. The bad news is that this game's layout is unfortunately EXACTLY the same as the original. The first part of the good news is that, fortunatly, this game's layout is EXACTLY the same as the original. The original is all the graphics that the GBA can and will ever be able to muster, and the same is true with the sound. So, therefore, there is no room for improvement in those categories. Also, the original was the best storyline I have ever seen for any game. So, the only place it can improve is the only thing Golden Sun was missing-a much longer story. Golden Sun was painfully short, even though it was relatively long for a gba game, it left a cliff-hanger ending with an epilogue. Now there's good marketting for a sequel! The final good thing is all the new spells, characters, and Psynergy(The mysterious force used by the Adepts on an unknown continent near Japan [land of the GOLDEN SUN]). Of course, these characters become the enemy in the newer game, but the New good guys also use it. Of course there will be AT LEAST twice as much psynergy and Dijjini (mysterious creatures that harness the powers of the elements to assist the heroes in their quest) (Including the old ones)All in all, I would recomend this game to hardcore rpger's as well as anyone that would enjoy a captivating story full of dventure.

Golden sun was one of the greatest games that the gba ever saw and it is one of the greatest rpgs the world has ever seen. The lost age isnt really a sequel as much as it is a continuation of the original story from a different angle. In this adventure you play as felix and his crew as you search for the fabled island of lemuria. All the original aspects are back and so are a few new little tricks. The djinn have reappered in much larger numbers and by collecting stone tablets you will be able to summon even stronger creatures with different combinations of djinn. Even though you play as felix Isaac and the old gang will make an appearance in the game and you can influence how they affect the game. If you have completed the original game you may use a link cable top transfer your old data or you can use a very lengthy password to define the power of the characters and how many djinn they have with them when they join you. So instead of them having one djinn each they will bring all the djinn you had collected in the first game. This game is much longer than the original and well provide gamers iwth a much larger challenge than the previous game. So Golden Sun 2 is here so grab a copy and let the good times roll.

Golden Sun - is it worth the $.?

Golden Sun is probably the most popular RPG yet released for the GBA (including GSII: The Lost Age).

There is so much psyenergy in this game, even though I've beaten it, I haven't actually used it all yet, and I've owned the game for several months. Compared to the limited LOTR:The Two towers, which offers almost the exact same gameplay for five characters, and the various Pokemon games, which have such a complete lack in plot, this game is a definate plus. If you don't have it, I would definately get a copy.

The possibilities for various gameplay are almost endless. With each djinn (small fuzzy creatures with magical powers) set to you, it can change your 'class'. That is, with 28 different djinn to collect in the game, and 7 you can set at once, all the classes are still being discovered and written down.

The only problem there is is the shortness of the whole thing. That being said, GSII: The Lost Age should be longer. This game is a great place to start your GBA game collection, and if you've already got a collection, this will be a great addition. Whether you're a hardened RPG player or a newbie to all things RPG, this game is great. Enjoy it.

I just started playing this game today and I love it. It's just as great as the original Golden Sun. You'll see the original characters from the first game, plus some new characters. If you liked the original, you'll definitely like this one. What I think is neat is that you can put a couple of different Djinni on standby and get to summon really powerful ones. Plus there's a bonus level, where if you get all of the Djinni in the game, you'll get to learn some great new summons, and they're really powerful. You won't want to miss this one.

This is a MUST HAVE GAME!!! PLEASE READ!!!

The first time I saw Golden Sun was when the first version came out, and I thought that the game would be plain stupid...but you have no idea how wrong I was! After playing the first version "Golden Sun" I was in love! The graphics for these games are absolutly stunning and clear, as well as bright and colorful! I would say this game is definitly not a dissapointment.

The only problem is that if you want to play this game, you have to play the first one first, or else you will have no idean what the heck you are doing. Anyway, the story for this game is really great and characters have some pretty amazing personalities. I like it how all the different characters have different attitudes about their experiences in the game, and it really makes it a whole lot more interesting. I like how in the beginning you leave off in the last dungeon of the first game, only you're different characters instead of being Isaac, where in this game you play as Felix, Jenna's brother. Even though I recommend to buy and play the first version, some of the text does go back to the othe game so that you're not totally lost.

Ok, now back to the game! This game has so many amazing dungeons and enemies, and I would say that they are way more challenging than the first game. As you get farther in the game the enemies begin to get really strong, but it's really fun to battle them. And don't worry Golden Sun fans you do get MORE Dijnn, yeah thats right MORE Dijnn. Now for those of you who don't know what Dijnn are, they're elemental allies that help boost your magic, and character stats such as attack strength. There are also some really cool NEW attacks in this game, even for the characters from the last game. Just wait until you learn about the hidden summoning tablets that you have to find.

The summoning tablets able you to sommon very powerful monsters that can cause so much dammage that it can kill a whole party of enemies in one blow. (Yes you need Dijnn to be able to summon these awsome creatures!) Although it is very challenging to find these tablets, but it is way worth the wait. There are also 2 special summoning tablets that you can only get if you have all the Dijnn inlcuding the ones from Isaac's party. I almost forgot! You can transfer your data from the first Golden Sun game to the new game, so make sure that you have all the Dijnn in the first game or you will not be able to receive the 2 special summoning tablets, and trust me, you don't want to miss out on these! Especially because one of them gives a lot of damage as well as reviving any downed allies and restoring their HP.

Now more info about the battle! Even if you don't transfer data from the first Golden Sun Game you will be able to meet up with Isaac and co. Anway, when you have Isaac's party with you, you are able to switch out characters if their magic or HP is low, the only problem is that you can only switch out one character at a time. This means you need more strategy than ever! But do not take this special treat to your advantage. That's basically the only new stuff about the battle scences, otherwise everything is basically the same. Although there is new battle music depending on who's in your party at the time.

Like I mentioned before the dungeons are more challenging. If you're not a patient person then I recommend that you buy the guide book, because some of these places are very tedious. When I played, there was this one dungeon and it drove me crazy because it was almost like a maze. But I do have to admit that it was quite challenging and fun! You will also have to collect pieces of a trident in the game, and even though it may sound easy it is not, because all the pieces are in different places, so don't give up hope if you cannot find them...because they're out there somewhere.

Back to the characters. Now for those of you who thought that Felix is some evil person you are totally wrong. He plays a really great role in this game, and it's really cool to see Jenna and Felix battleing side to side. You also get to know more about the mysterious Sheba and about her past. A new character in this game is an allie named Piers, who comes from Leumuria. You also get to know more about his life and what the mysterious Lemuria is really like. There are so many mysteries about each character, but no worries, you find out everything in the end. And for those of you who wondered "Does Isaac ever talk?" well yes, in matter of fact he does! So this is really exciting for some, and believe it or not Felix has a few lines as well.

For those of you that like the villians, then you should definitly keep reading. Just like the last game there are two main enemies. There names are Agatio and Karst, and you DO NOT face them only once, which is really exciting.

There is really so much more to tell but I don't want to give away all of the amazing details and secrets hidden in this game. I would have to say that ending is very amazing and this game is definitly not a disappointment!

ever since the cliffhanger ending of golden sun ive been counting down the days until the lost age was coming out. as a matter of fact is till play golden sun regularly. Why? Because you can transfer data between your game packs.Fom what i see the main heroes arent the stars from the original but in fact are a new group of characters consisting of Felix,Sheba,Jenna and the new character Pickard. Although your main characters arent the same from golden sun if you tranfer data they will make an appearance in the lost age although im not sure how big a part they will play in the adventure. The attributes that your character has from golden sun will make a difference in golden sun the lost age. Im not sure who the main boss is but im suspecting alex. Some music is the same that was in golden sun but camelot has came up with some new music to keep things fresh. The game map and length are both about 2x as much that was in golden sun, wich is a good thing because this game is going to be the best selling game boy advance game ever(if not for pokemon yellow it would have a giant chance for bieng THE best-selling game boy game). However i dont recomend buying this game if you havent played and completed golden sun, because elements of the lost age will make no sense if you dont. Until april 17 ill be waiting... for greatness

Great game for everybody

Great Game For everybody:
Golden Sun 2 the Lost Age:
System: Game boy advance
Developed by: Camelot
Rated: Not rated
[...]
Genre: action

Imagine having a game that has no violence or cussing in any way. Well you do not have to imagine it is called Golden Sun Two the Lost Age is what you are looking for.

Next you get caught in a tidal wave after Venus light house is lit which drags you on a floating isle called Idejema. After the credits you find yourself on another continent which is called Osenea.

There is a lot of fighting but no violence like cussing or blood. There is no bad stuff in it has great graphics. It is an awesome adventure game because you get mystical creatures called Jinni which gives you unimaginable power. There is also the four elements earth, fire, wind, and water in the game.

You start off with the first three characters of the game. It can be played by anyone except by six or under. You get mystical creatures called jinni that gives you more power to attack or more psyenergy.

You get powerful weapons like the sol blade which gives you plus 200 attack power. The two most powerful weapons is the ultra axe which you need to forge to get it. That is how you get the most powerful weapons in the game.

IN conclusion I recommend playing this game because you start off with the first three characters of the game Felix, Jenna which is Felix sister, Kraden which is not a character he is just traveling around with them and the wind adept Sheba and the fourth character is piers from Lumaraie which you can't get to until you have the three prongs of the trident which you need a ship to get to. You also get powerful psyenergy. Plus you get original characters of Golden Sun the first game of golden sun.

Actually better than I thought... (4.5 Stars)

Alright my first review depicted that this game had a weak storyline and such. Well, that review is being revised NOW! Sure I still have all my other gripes but now that I've 100% completed the game, this shows that the story I saw from the first Golden Sun wasn't all of it. The storyline is actually really good and really complex, even if near the end of this part it got predictable.

The good is that the music and graphics are ASTOUNDING for the GBA. Lots of visuals too. Very colorful to the point where it looks like a nice beautiful PSX game. The music is astonishing and you'll wonder how they made orchastral music come out of your GBA speaker. Amazing if you ask me.

The storyline is a continuation of the first Golden Sun where as with Golden Sun it's a basic storyline, this one takes a twists where you are the ones that the party of the first Golden Sun was persuing. Eventually your old party from Golden Sun will join your new one. So you can transfer data (and believe me you WANT to do this if you want all the games incredible secrets). Thus, the plot in this one is extended to a point where it's actually DIFFERENT but conncets to the first one. Hard to explain.

My cons with this game is that it's almost exactly like the first Golden Sun game. Old spells that return have the same battle animation and the battle system hasn't really been changed in anyway. So it's pretty much like a "Disk 2" of any PSX game. But because of this rehash it leaves for little replay value. The puzzles, while complex are enough to make you want to rip your hair out.

The other con is that the game has NO direction in the beginning. You have no idea what you're supposed to do next or where to go. So you could explore all day (FUN!) but if you come to an area where you just don't have the magic for it then you're ..... Now unless you want to talk to just about every NPC in the game and I mean ALL of them, you might as well buy a guide at least if you get stuck.

The game was beautiful and by far it was best I've seen on the GBA so far (besides probably Metroid Fusion). This is absolutely a breath taking game. If you liked the first one then get this! If you haven't played the first one then play that first.

THIS GAME IS A MUST HAVE!!! READ TO FIND OUT MORE!!!
