The Greatest?

This game was one of the greatest games in the world. Nintendo really worked their butts off for this game. Nintendo and camelot really make a good team working on both golden sun games. This game is a great RPG game with a little bit of puzzle and adventure in it. I absolutly love this game, even though with the Djinn looking like pokemon and acting like it. This game is kinna like mid-evil times only not. You travel the world trying to light 2 lighthouses while fighting a ban of your enemies.

If you are a RPG game fan,I almost garentee you will like this game. The storyline is addicting and the graphis are awesome! The music is good too. I would not recommend this to younger kids, but around 12 and up. The instruction manual goes a little too much into detail and may seem to make the game confusing. The game is very fun!!5 stars!!

This game has great graphics and great sound. It's an over all great game. The only down side that I saw was the talking. There was times where I sat there and waited 10 minutes for them to stop flapping there gums. I think you should rent the game first to see how patient you are.

Must...Keep...Playing!!!

This is one of those games that cannot be put down. It has an excellent deep storyline, vibrant graphics, and a great soundtrack to top it all off. Gameplay is a lot like the classic "Dragon Warrior" series where sidequests are carried out from town to town and players are allowed to roam freely on a world map. It's a little like pokemon in where characters called Djinn with special powers need to be collected in order to carry out advanced attacks. Unlike pokemon though, it's a great game for all ages. Children will appreciate the storyline with kids as the heros of the story. Older players will find a challenge in completing some of the in-game puzzles and developing a battle strategy.

Often times players are torn between buying this game and Final Fantasy Tactics. I recommend this game over FFT as it has a better battle system and storyline. Final Fantasy Tactics has a storyline that starts off a lot "The Neverending Story." I much prefer the unique and unpredictable storyline of Golden Sun. FFT also uses a grid-based battle system where effectiveness of attacks is based on proximity (just like Fire Emblem) and has an in-game character judge because some attacks are not allowed in certain areas (BOOO!!!). Golden Sun utilizes a menu battle system which allows the player to have a better view of the attacking animations. Golden Sun just makes better use of the capabilities of the GBA. If you have any doubts though, rent the game first.

I think that this is a great game. It is very challenging. I love how there are a lot of weapons and things to defend with. Also the psyegergy is a huge help in boss battles. The only bad thing about it is that I don't know how to save the tree and it gives you no info at all about how to help him. But this is still a great game and I would give it more than a five if I could. I recommend this game to anyone because it is so great.
