This game I haven't really played, but every time I play it over Nintendo Wi Fi I always come in 2nd place. It is fun with a mix of mission games and just plain racing, not like the GC version where there are no mission games. It is just mini games. I would say the GC version is better, but I still thought that this game was fun.

This is a must buy game!!!!!!!

I got this game from my mom and dad (santa Claus)and i could not stop playing it.I like how there are many characters to coose to play with.The characters are Luigi,mario,wario,peach,yosi,donkey kong,and bowser.there are unlockabl characters to they include dry bone,daisy,walaigi.I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. So, at first when I heard about this game when the DS came out and Nintendo announced this, I didn't think it was going be very interesting. I mean, I liked Mario Kart games, but on a handheld it didn't sound to interesting. The pictures that were released when this was announced weren't very appeling to look at. A year later, this game is shaping up to be quite a worthy addition to the Mario Kart series. When it was announced, I only cared about graphics in games. I can see the error of my ways now. That being said, I didn't care much about it. I just learned a few months ago, that this is some of the best graphics ever for a DS. This has so far been reveared as the best DS game so far. I have been wanting this sever since online play has been announced. I should have a review for this game shortly after Christmas.

I got this for my birthday from my loving parents,and I love it!Cool levels,strange items,and awsome unlockables(such as a turtle skeleton character you can play as.)You will defently love it to,no matter what age you are,or who you are.YOU MUST BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=)

Short and sweetley, mario kart for the ds does as much as its exped to do and much much more! on the main screen it has three options, single player, multi player, and WIFI. when entering single player, you are given the options of, Grand Prix, time triles, vs, battle and missions. when selected grand prix, you will be given a choise of 4 diffrent cups, all with 4 different races, you can also unlock new cups, and with over 30 different tracks youl be busy for a while. when selected time triles, well, that one's pretty self explantory. when selected vs, you can be any one of the 8 racers (all with 2 different cars and even more to unlock), after you will chose one of the bots (CPUs) to race head to head or select teams and have a 4 on 4 race. when selected battle you can battle with 2 different modes and in 7 different tracks. when selected missions, you will be given a screen with pannles marked, LV 1 LV 2 (etc) in witch you will be given 8 normal tasks like for example, collect all 20 coins before time runs out, or sumething like that, when youve compleeted all 8 you will go the boss stage of that level, when compleeted, you will unlock the next level. back to the main menu, multiplayer you will lurn all about or know all about ever since youve had a ds or will lurn about it when you get one. and wifi, the cherry on top of the ice cream sunday that is Mario Cart. with the aid of a wireless network device, connect with up to 3 other players in your country, in your state, in your contenent, or in the WORLD!!! and the best part about about it is... i didnt get this game yet but my cousin brought it to my grandmas house to play it i did wi fi oh my gosh it rules you can verse anyone in the world i versed people from japan and china they stink and i told my cousin why the heck do they stink at this game arent they the one who made this game he cracked up if you guys dont like this game you must be on drugs it is true that psp is better but i still think this is fub

I Bought this game readlng the other revues thinking It was good. It wasent(after i it alot).You should get this game if you like racers.

The cars move 2 miles an hour...and they call this a "racing" game. This game is only for kids, way too easy. I felt like going to sleep because the cars move like turtles. No excitement here. I gave three stars because there are a few things that are not bad. The environment designs are great. And the concept is good. The weapons are nice. The speed is the REAL problem with this game. This would be a great game for kids or for 80 to 90 year old seniors.

At first, this is a really fun game but my big problem with it is it's WAY TOO EASY. Even on the hard settings, I had no problem. After you unlock everything, it gets very boring and I don't play it now. It would be really good if it had a really hard level or more tracks to race on. It was fun while it lasted but it's just not challenging enough.
