I still cant beleive you can play on the internet! That way the game never gets old

This game is really fun when I first played it on my cousin's game!!! I'm really a pro at this game, but I can't beat my cousin. I going to get one just like my cousin!!!

ok i own an xbox with xbox live and of course a ds but when i herd wi fi was comming out i was like ooook kinda like my xbox live kinda thing so thats cool so i went to the store bought the game it is sooooo amzing its not even funny if u dont have this u better get it u get 8 chars marior luigi peach dk bowser wario toad and yoshi yoshia is my guy but w/e the best thing is the tracks are all from the old games super mario kart mario kart 64 mario kart super cuicit and double dash and there are even more courses!!!!

my rating for this game are

game play--5 hands down going online owning eveyone and even getting owned myself is fun just wanting to paly again and again.

graphics--after having xbox live the graphics are about a 4.5 thats amzing for a halndheld trust me!!!

features--u get alot of featers liek versus battle mode grand pix tie trial and mission features i give it a 5++++ way way worth 35 bucks!!!!!!!

and it gets even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if u look on the bottom screen of the ds u can see if a there is things that u are about to hit lke a banana is on the ground u can see and move out of the way!!!!

best game ever!!!!!!! just wait till animal crossing man i have been playing this almsot as much as halo 2 on my xbox!!!!!

if u dont get a wi fi game u arnt use the potensial thast the nintendo ds has

I'm sure people reading these reviews realise from the amount of comments that this is a great game.
Some people seem to be critical and often confused about the online wi-fi play, especially the comments about bad connections and hacking your pc!
The online aspect of the game took me less than 2 minutes to set up.
You simply search for the network and if like me you have a wireless network with WEP encryption you simply type in the key...and that's it!

If you have a wireless network and do not use encryption it will not ask for a WEP key but to put it simply you are inviting anyone with a wireless laptop or handheld device to gain access to your network and pc anyway!
Read the wireless router instructions and set it up instead of using it blindly straight out of the box!
For me Mario Kart DS is almost perfect in every way despite the fact you do sometimes have to wait 2 or 3 minutes to find opponents but as yet I have never been kicked off.
Don't let peoples negative views of wireless play put you off, if you have a DS and broadband this is a game you are going to enjoy!

I've been a loyal nintendo fan for many years!!!!! The first system I ever bought other than nintendo was the Dreamcast. The only reason I bought that p.o.s. was for the on-line capabilities. Well after many years of nintendo ignoring the gaming community and denying on-line play (let's be real fantasy star online is not an enjoyable game) nintendo finally releases the "DS!" Wireless and Wi-fi are it's selling points, right? Well almost a YEAR! after it's release, nintendo finally gets mario kart out. So far I have found that the game play is repetative. As far as the on-line gaming, well...
How should I put this...
Watching paint dry takes less time, and is more fun than waiting for nintendo wifi connect to find THREE! That's right three (3), other players on-line, in order to start a race. Although I am a fan of mario kart and do enoy this game (some what), I think that nintendo has a long way to go in order to keep this customer.

ok i like the game best graphics and everything but... i am not here to dicribe the whole game like the other peopl so read other peoples reavie for that this is all about the wi fi!
i was excited to get the game online play! but then it happend. if u want your compuers to get viruses like crazy and people hacking your network. this is the kind of thing to do just that.
u have to open things called ports to be able to paly online thos port are wat let people in so when u are opening them its like welcomming a guest through your door to come into your computer. so buy the game its great game paly but dont buy it just for the online party casue u will be disapointed unless u dont care about people hacking your computers and your systems and wat not

this is just a warning so buy the game its great but not for the wi fi.

and i dotn care if it was ehlpful or not just a pre warning when u buy!!!

Since the GCN version I was put off a little, but now that this game is out, we have a winner! From the moment you pick up, you really don't want to put it down. It has all the fun of the N64 version that I grew a costume to, and more. Then there is the online play which is fantastic, but you need a wireless modem, or McDonald's to play. Hands down, this is the greatest Mario Kart EVER!!! Buy one for yourself, buy one for your friend, they will love you forever, and I mean it!

*Same fun controls as before

*Fun

*Always somebody to play

*Fun

But most of all, THIS GAME ROCKS! Just buy it! If you don't trust me, rent it first!

Great Racer Game

Santa brought this to my son who is 6. His first Nintendo DS and game experience--and he can't play it enough!!! After about a 30 minute 'learning period' he went from last place to first and is uncovering all kinds of new tracks and tips every day.

A great game for young and older alike--even I enjoy playing against him head-to-head as the game is wireless and alows others with a DS to play along--even if they don't have the game themselves!
