MARIO AND PALS ARE RACING IT OUT AGAIN.RACE AS MARIO,LUIGI,WARIO,TOAD,PEACH,YOSHI,BOWSER AND DK AND UNLOCK DAISY,DRY BONES,WALUIGI AND ROB.MARIO KART DS IS A MIXTURE OF ALL THE MARIO KARTS WITH ALL THE COURSES,CHARACTERS,ITEMS AND CARTS.YOU CAN USE WI-FI CONNECTION TO RACE FRIENDS OR ANYONE ON THE PLANET EVEN IF THEY'RE FAR AWAY.COOL RIGHT?ALSO THERE'S MANY OTHER MODES LIKE MISSION MODE WHERE YOU HAVE TO DO SOME SORT OF MISSION WITHIN 20 SECONDS.GOOD LUCK.

The game has great graphics, music and characters but you wouldn't be able to play it for very long. For example, it would be fun on trips but that's it. and you don't use the stylist in anyway. what good is a DS without a stylist? (im not over 13! it told me i have to be...so yeah)

ok i had some my down on this game at firs i was like another mario kart game going to be the same as the other but no!!!! way!!! this is one 1000 times better

the facts are

u get online play best part about it u can play up to 4 people at ounce with the online play(kinda bad though only 4)but still 4 people is still awsome!!!!

u can also play battle mode, and vs online the battles are pop the ballong and the shine sprit thing i like the ballon one poping peoples ballons is alot of fun!!!!!!!!

graphics wise amazing not blocky at all great framerate.

good music like the froom! froom! sound great to me...
and while u are racing has that nice hawian music and when u hit an item blick make the little cling! noise lol!

u get the main chars like yoshi mario luigi ect.

lots of lvls!!!!!! from all mario karts from gbas marrio kart game cubes mario kart snes's mario kart and some new lvls!!!

u can even get a new char!!!!!!!(when far enough in game)

now about the wi fi!

dont worry if u dont have a clue about how to get online nintendo helps u with eveyhitng there is! (took me 1 minute) When u are palying online its like a hole other world!

when evey i lose i want to through my ds on the ground!!!
but it just get me ready to pick it back up and play again and again its not like the other game were u are like ok well i have beeten this game now i have to buy another one and beat that one.
this one is going to keep u busy for a long time!!!!!! way way way worth 35$

and i am up for any challege~!!!!~!~!~!~! my main man yoshi or mario!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a must buy game if u dont have this game for your ds there is basicly no point in having a ds

unless u got towny hawks american wasteland then there is lol!

This game is one of the best games in mario history. Everything about this game makes you feel giddy and happy inside. This just happens to have mission mode,new players, and fun filled tracks (of the new and the old going way back to tracks from SNES). There are 5 best mario games
1.mario party 6
2.super mario 64 DS
3.super smash bros mellee(yes this has mario)
4.Mario Kart DS
5.mario kart DD (gamecube)

there are many other great games but in my opinion these are the best. So get yours today (or tommorow)

i am sick of people bashing other systems specially when the things you say about have never happend to you. if i had enough id buy a psp AND a ds i would get a ds for the gameplay and the sequels and return of former games that i love(animal crossing, mario,etc)and the backwards compatability with advance games.psp for good quality graphix and games(twisted metal,socom,etc).if you are going to bash a system or company make sure what you say is something you have experienced not just stuff you heard.i dont like xbox thats the only system i dont like but i didnt bash it once.why cant the consoles share there research then gaming would improve faster i mean look you have got a company who has been there for a while and has tons of research stored(nintendo)a company run by one of the riches men in the world and tons of grafical research im sure(x-box(keep in mind i dont like them but im complimenting them))and a company who knows there way around the media with all there mp3 players and cameras etc...(sony)put that together and what do you get?crap?or a system?

What makes an offspin of a great game good? It has to have interesting characters, check, a great selection of tracks, check, stats for both characters and cars, check, and last, but not least, it needs something that makes it more innovative than the other guy, check.

Where to begin? Oh, I really enjoyed this game, because of its originality along with some retro Mario Kart goodness. They've taken out the Double Dash! kind of carts and replaced it with the old fashioned one man vehicle. They still have the selection of cars method, to some degree, you have two starter cars with each character and one to unlock.

You start off with your 8 characters but eventually unlock some other favorites along with a new cast, think of like the extra characters in Mario Power Tennis. Then you get the option of choosing 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. In the original games, you would then choose a cup then race in it, but in this game you have two sets of tourniments. One, you get Nitro, which is the newly designed levels for the DS and you get the Retro which includes some of the good levels from Super Mario Kart (SNES), Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circuit (GBA), and Mario Kart Double Dash!. I enjoy going back to some of the original levels with the new graphics and the new sound, it's something Nintendo is very good at doing.

All in all, if this was all they were doing, I'd still give it a good score, but there's much more. You can now play this online over Wi-Fi connections! There are different modes you can choose from and you can even have a buddy list.

I would definately pick up this game if you have a DS, or are intending to buy one. You will really enjoy it.

This is the best game on my ds so far. The controls are simple but the game is very addictive. The new mission mode is good. There's no story though so the missions are just a bunch of mini-games. They are quick and fun. Like a 3d racing version of wario ware. The battle mode is cool because in baloon battle you blow into the mic to inflate a baloon. Things also hit the screen and make a cool effect. The real problem is the wi-fi. To use it you need a wireless connection to the internet from your computer. If you don't have one then you need a USB connector for your computer. Sadly since you must keep the connector in your computer you'll be stuck on your computer chair.This takes the wireless out of the title.
