The jerks who said that this game was 1 star are just idiots. This game is awsome. I've had this for only two weeks and I'm still not bored. Usually, I get bored of a new game within a week. To sum it all up, this is the best Star Wars game ever! Don't listen to the jerks who rated this one star. They're just b!%(%$. Or in other words, stupid.

Star Wars BattleFront II

Hello There I'm Some 10 Year Old, And This Is My First Un-LEGO Star Wars Game. Oh! Just to let you know that I DON'T own Star Wars BattleFront I.
Now on to my review. How to describe this is simply: A Star Wars Multi-War
Game In which you play in the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War Era's. And Fight As The: C.I.S, Republic, Rebel Alliance, Or Galactic Empire. In your favorite place's in the movies. Now New features (as i've heard) are:

Space Combat: Now What Would a Star Wars Game Be Without Space Combat!?

Jedi and Sith Playable: This is AWESOME as I always wanted to play as REALISTIC Luke Skywalker or Count Dooku.

Engineer+Special Classes Playable: Now These Are Darn Good People Here.

Revenge Of The Sith Area's Playable: Yep Thats Right New Area's.

Objective Based Story-Mode: Finnaly MISSIONS not Mildless Fighting

Adjustable Troop Setting: You Can actualy adjust Amount of troops So you can have a Minor Conflict or Epic Battle.

Sorry No Cons PERSONELY.... Bye Bye Peace OUT!

Not As Fun As The Original....

Like many other fans of Battlefront-1, I looked forward to this game for quite some time. Unfortunately, it falls short of the original in several key aspects:

- The graphics are not as sharp this time around. The battlefields are incredibly busy, which makes it difficult to pick out enemies.

- Space battle is frustrating. I quit after 30 minutes. After playing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, it's hard to play this game and smile at the same time. Rogue Squadron is intuitive and fun with sharp graphics; Battlefront 2 looks and plays amateur in comparison.

- Battlefront-2 is simply not as fun as the original. The missions feel rushed and hurried; your weapons seem to "overheat" at exactly the wrong moments; space battle is horrible; I get killed multiple times per mission. It's just not as fun. What else can I say?

There was something clean and simple about the original that made it fun, that Battlefront 2 simply lacks. They should have kept the original, added some levels, added some characters, and called it a day. Instead, they got too complicated.

Rent it before you buy. I'm a hard-core Star Wars fan, and I should have rented this puppy first.

I've played it through multiple times in both single player and multiplayer. Way better than the first game, and probably the best Star Wars game ever made. Get it!

I bought this game at EB Games, game store with a pre order when it first came out because I loved the first Battlefront so much. I thought I would share my opinion of the game so you too can enjoy the hours of fun it offers. First of all, if you've played the first game and even partially enjoyed it, this is a must have! It offers the same great gameplay with better mechanics when it comes to the physics of the game and also the graphics look better. Your soldier runs more fluidly and weapons are upgraded. And there are two very important upgrades. Heroes and Space Battles! You can now play as all of your favorite Star Wars chacters from Han Solo to Darth Maul. I was extremely impressed with the game overall because it did not mess with the great formula that battlefront began, with large scale epic battles. Also, without changing the game play, they improved it in so many ways and added many more maps. I played this game for about 5 hours a night every night for about a month before I got tired of it. And yes, you can get tired of it because you only have so many levels and the elite difficulty is not difficult. Multiplayer is fun, but with co-op, it is way too easy and if you pit your armies against each other, there is the inevitable throwing the controller down because you died for no reason. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 in fun is its limited replayability in comparison to games like Final Fantasy and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. For all shooters out there, get this game. It is without a doubt the best two player shooting game for the PS2.

Star Wars battlefront 2

The game is a little overwhelming at first but has some great features. During some of the invasion sequences its almost impossible not to get killed because of the amount of gunfire around you. A little less shootout and maybe a little more stealth woulld have been nice. Saving the game is a pain in the butt,it asks you 6 times if you want to save,Duh! Overall its alot of fun and if you can get it for a good price definetly worth having!

When I first got this game, I didn't know what to expect. But now I love the game. There are so many different weapons to use at your disposal. The story of the Rise of the Empire is amazing and explains the Republic's side of the story of when they turned from the Republic into the Empire. This game has always been my escape tube from boredom. Plus, there's no blood. You can also play as classic heroes and villains of the Star Wars story and fight in space battles in space ships from all sides in the classic Star Wars story. This is one of the top shooting games in the world! I highly suggest it.

Star Wars Battlefront was a great game. This sequel to it takes all that was good in the first one and expands upon it. Sometimes it is extremely hard, but it is always fun.

There is something very cool about a battle in space where you get in your ship, board an enemy ship and start blasting away at its shields, life support systems and the like. Then go and use your rocket launcher to blow up the enemy ships in the docking area, get back aboard yours and get out of there before the entire ship is destroyed. Or steal one of their ships and blast them back to Endor with their own bombs.

Besides space battles, there is also the opportunity to play as select heroes and bad guys like Mace Windu, Yoda, the Emperor and more.

If you are a Star Wars fan and you don't have this game, you don't know what you are missing. Trust me on this, you will be satisfied.
