Star Wars Goodness

I have changed my mind about this game. I guess you truly do have to get used to the controls. And even then you have to reach a higher level. Picking off people from a distance never gets old. Taking over turrets is fun. Probably the best is using the jet paks or riding on the speederbikes. Taking over ground vehicles is kind of cool and the new and veried heroes are cool. The new mini-game missions are the same thing over and over again just like the main game. Boba Fett taking out nasty little Gungans and Jawas seems like fun and it is kind of.
Bottom Line: If you are the biggest starwars fan of all time ...buy this game. It will not disappoint if you stick with it. Is it for kids? No blood, but lots of killing. Will I keep it? Yes.

Space Battle
Destroying the enemy ships and "borrowing" enemy ships is fun!

Get an Ewok and battle the Empire in Hunter mode!Or grab your lightsaber in Jedi Assult Mode!

1.You can't play as Luke on Mos Enely(Or however you spell it),Only Han Solo!

Overall it's a 4.5 out of 5 and an improvement of [[...] Star Wars Battlefront]]! Buy it!

Being a jedi is alright not really what you would call amazing but if you want to win then this is a nice attatchment you will like.

Space battles are pretty fun for me if you like a little challenge, tactics and maybe a little break form driod blasting.

Sprinting is the greatest thing that has ever happened to battlefront. you can finnaly "move" not take baby steps like in the first.

Graphics seem to have improved your screen has more terrain and less of your soldier, also, everything is clearer, bright, and more colorful.

I love having to work to get special units. In the first you could be a soldier with "big guns" right off the back and cream everyone.

hunt is a fun addition. You can be well, jawas,wampas,tuskens, ect.

capture the flag. If your a fan of big war games involving CTF then you will love this.

Online is a great peice of work. although having to play by others rules still fun besides a few online glitches.

THIS IS AN AWSOME GAME. YOU GET TO PLAY JEDIS OR CLONES. THE NORMAL CLONES WHICH HAVE THE BEST WEAPONS ARE NOW BLUE SO THE LOOK COOLER. THE DROIDS ARE HARDER TO BEAT BUT THAT MAKES THE GAME BETTER. ITS IS AWSOME TO HAVE JEDIS IN THE BATTLE. ONCE, I SAW DARTH MAUL AND HE CHUCKED HIS LIGHTSABER AT ME. ALTHOUGH I DIED, IT WAS COOL SEEING HIM. BUY THIS GAME!

How to take a good game and make it worse

I've been playing this game for some time now and have come to the conclusion that this game is far inferior to the original battlefront. The graphics and environments are often dark with key objects more obscure than the original. The weapons selection and targeting huds are overly informative to the point of distraction. The mapping display actually seems to be less accurate than the original. The "space" missions have poor grahics compared to most air/space combat games. More importantly, the flight simulation itself is choppy and not quite up to par when you compare it to much older games such as jedi starfighter. This was a very ambitious effort, but it falls very short. It has been one of the more disappointing star wars sequals. Not a complete loss, but could have been better given the time and effort given to the project.

Best game ever.

This game is great. You can attack head on, sneak behind and supise, or blow them up. Play as a jedi or a tooper. In Musterfar go to the base with the bridge and shoot down the contral pannle. The birdge will fall in to the lava sometimes with men on it. Me and my sister killed about 60 drords doing this using her has bait to make them come on the Birdge then right as she got in shooting it. Over all this game is great.

I think that battle front 2 is really, really fun I could play it for a verey verey VERY long time!!
Unlike battle front 1 you can be a jedi. In battle front 2 the way you can be a jedi is if you get a certin number of points points you wil have the jedi for sort out bursts of time. But if you want to change that, go to instint action an go to options on the planet list and chang how long you will have the jedi. So please try battlefront, it's great, you'll love it!!!!

Great Game, But Hard Space Battles!

This is a great game, but the complaint I have are the space battles. Why can't be like the original Battlefront where there is no boost or those hard to destroy turrets! Or the fighters can be faster without the boost, so overall its just fast, but can make it slow! Rise of the Empire is a little hard. I'm on the Polis Massa level, but I almost beat the level(I only had one more Objective left!)Then my reinforcement force count depleted! I wish instead of restarting the level, you can restart teh objective. I heard that the Jedi can block rifle fire but I can't find the block button! Where is it! Can the next reviewer tell me!

I'm not gonna beat it around the bush. The GOOD: The story of the 501st. More alien races to encounter, Gamorreans aka the green pig guys, Acklays the wanna-be Zerg lurker, the Rancor,etc. Jedi and non-jedi Hero characters you *CAN* play. Space battles. New (magnaguard) and Improved (snipers) classes that you can change without dying.

The BAD: Hero characters can be beaten too easily. Space battles are way to repeditive. Mini-maps are worthless. Mission objective's are not givn before the mission. Allies are idiots. The medals, any real soldier will tell you, the last thing you want on your team is a glory hog. Continuity errors, When the Falcon leaves Hoth, the rebel base is considered lost to the Empire. Unlike the demo's on the SW:EPIII DVD, which was released the same day, you have to earn the speical units. A lot of levels are missing. Cannot command allies like in BFT1. Piontless chatter, Droids in general, much less the Three Laws-less battle droids, don't have personalitys so why would they talk trash?

Do yourself a favor and wait for the price to drop. And don't wreck the holidays by buying this as a gift.

This is the last time Lucasarts steals my money. So much expectation and publicity fot this piece of TRASH! They say it was going to be much better, but it isn't. The graphics of "Battlefront" are much better than this one, the graphics for part two are graphics of PC or Nintendo, are graphics of PC games of the mid 90's, for example "Dark Forces". The resolution it's terrible, a child can make them much better. The missions are easy and the AI isn't as good as they say. I don't care if there are new planets and troopers and if you can control Jedis, the game is boring and repetitive. The sequel is the end for this game. I WANT MY STOLEN MONEY BACK!!
