Fun and Great Game!

This game is very fun and very hard. I've beaten it only once and still trying to beat it twice. I even needed help from friends, a strategy guide and codes off the internet! It is very hard but very fun. If you get frusterated with hard stuff, than you might want to think twice before buying it. I suggest you rent it first from blockbuster. That's what I did. So good luck. It's a fun game!

Take New York for a spin

Spider-man was a good game.You could do alot and do awesome combos but only one thing was missing....FREEDOM.That problem was fixed in Spider-man 2.Now you go around New York with no invisible walls and now you can go on the ground,unlike the first,where you go on the ground,you die.Also,now you have to web on to things to swing.The villians are:
Dr octopus,Shocker,Mysterio,and Rhino.Jumping is the basic jump and double jump,but now you can charge up your jump to go higher.And for those of you who are worried about loading times,their are none,the game just goes into the next chapter while you're playing.Fighting is awesome.you can do all these awesome moves and now,when you press o while your head is glowing,you can dodge attacks or counter-attack and also,webbing can be used for fighting.Their are no levels,no invisible walls,no loading times,just.......FREEDOM.

So thanks activison for fixing my problem and giving us...FREEDOM.

I really had fun working with the game. From training to protecting, it fun to work with Spider-Man. You can move all over Manhatten and save the world. The only thing I do not like is you could only get the the Statue of Liberty (chapter 9) when you have a mission there. You are suppose to be able to go any where, any time. You can go any where else, tall buildings, the tower, the boats and any where in between. I also found old villians from Spider-Man, Playstation 1.

Spiderman 2 is one of the best action games i ever played.
It has a great storyline that is definetly entertaining.
I found only 3 minor flaws to the game: 1) the graphics are not as good as spiderman 1.
2) there are some glitches and my game froze once in a while.
3) there is no main menu , you just have to go straight to the story.
The GREAT features of the game: 1) u can go in the streets of NY City
2) you dont HAVE to follow the story line
3) many hidden places
4) you can buy upgrades and health
5) help citizens and grow in rank
6) some difficult things that challenges u
7) sorry but i had to add: FLYING OFF BUILDINGS

Overall i gave this game 5 stars because i really enjoyed it, and if u dnt use walkthroughs it can be sort of challenging.
DEFINEITLY BUT THIS GAME!!!!!!!:D

This may be my favorite PS2 game ever. I don't know about delivering the pizza and saving the baloon but otherwise this game is awesome. I love the funny remarks Spidey makes every once and a while. Now you even have to win new moves. Some people say that it isn't a very good game cuz the graphics stink but i think the rest of the game is so fun it makes up for the graphics. I suggest you buy this game! But if you don't want to spend the money just wait a little while until the price goes down. But i think the game is well whorth the money!

I hadn't heard if this game was going to be good or bad before i bought it. for the first time i bought a game because the film was so amazing. The game was never going to be that good, the graphics are occasionally a bit ropey and some of the cut scenes are better than others but the feeling of swinging about new york is brilliant. the controls are fairly easy to get to grips with and the sense of exploration is second to none.
The main problem is that the main game is stupidly easy to complete. most boss battles take a few goes and can be quite annoying but they're never that hard. The good thing is that you will come back to it because there is so much to explore after the main game is complete. there's nothing like jumping off the empire state building anywhere else in videogames.

THIS GAME WAS KILLER, ok, some people are here say that this game is bad cause it doesnt look good, well, guess what folks, SO WHAT. this game was supposed to give you the feeling of your spiderman, and i think they did a wonderful job, but still, some little nerd kids with glasses what to complain about every little detail, its real simple people, this game if fun to the max, however, dont spend all day playing it cause it can get boreing, like any other game that lets you wonder around, its a fine retail, and a fine buy-game, just play it wisely, AND FREAKING ENJOY THE GAME

As long as I can see this game is almost the best,
A few months ago I bought GRAN TURISMO 3 It was very realistic but kinda boring, Spider-Man 2 the game is far better because the new swinging mode is incredibly realistic and it is very fun.
I only see something bad the camera will sometimes cause you problems to se were is your oponent and the graphics are... stupid but thats not a problem it is still great.

Looking to fly jump all over the place with your webs then here's your game! Its quite funny too and a lot of action fights real good fights. Good graphics.
