Brought me back to PC gaming!

Call of Duty brought me back to PC gaming! It's absolutely amazing. As long as you've got the hardware to run it, this game will be the best gaming experience you've ever had.
The graphics and gameplay are both absolutely amazing. On the surface, you might not think this game is any different from other WW II shooters, but it is. It consists of over 20 different missions from the American, British and Soviet point of view. You start out as Private Martin in the American army, and progress to play a private in the British and Soviet armies as well. This is where the game really stands out in allowing you to play several different missions on both the Eastern and Western fronts in Europe.
The enemy AI on even the easiest level is quite intelligent and will duck to avoid your shots, not simply stand there and allow you to mow them down. Your computer controlled teammates also I think are the most intelligent teammates I've seen in any game ever. This game blows every other WW II shooter away and will bring you back to PC gaming.

It has the best levels and good multi-play I highly recommend this game. It is worth your money!

This game rocks it is so intense. It is not like other games where you are practicllly invincible you actully have to duck and avoid bullets. The Guns and outfits are realistic.l It was short but thats fine I just hope they come out with more expansion packs like for Vietnom. you can hit some one with you gun. and the themes are cool you use squad tactics and the enemys are smart if they even see a glimpse of you they will fire in that direction.Get the game now

This game is, in a word, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! I've played it once and loved it! TechTV's X-Play gave this a 5 out of 5 and was number one in their holiday gift-giving ideas for PC games for 2003 and won Best PC game of 2003 in their award show. Although it's short, it's awesome. I received this game for christmas last year AND I CANT STOP PLAYING IT! This game is so addictive, and when you beat all the missions in Single Player, you can kill ... in Multiplayer, too!

Simple formula

The formula is simple: You have a gun, you have to kill Germans. There are squadmates to help you on your goals. Sure, the goals may be redundant (lots of blowing up Flak Guns, etc.). But, I think what sets this game apart is that it really makes you feel like you're part of the war. The historical references (seize on Berlin, defense of Stalingrad aka Enemy at the Gate, Pathfinders before D-Day) are very realistic. The background is superbly done- lots of rubble and torn walls from destroyed cities.

Gameplay: like I said, it's simple. There aren't commands for your squadmates. You just basically follow a linear path to your goal. Using the zoom feature helps a lot when sniping. Other than that, typical headshots will suffice. Oh yeah, despite being part of a squad, you're still incredibly outnumbered.

Sound: Like my roommate said, "it sounds like you're watching some movie." By far the best part of the game- guns sound like guns. MG24s have a steady sound. Tanks and arty rounds are really accurate. Plus, my favorite part: the Dizzy affect from being in close proximity to an explosion. It's similar to Saving Private Ryan- everything gets blurry, the world slows down, there's a ringing in your ears. I've never experienced one of those in real life (thank god), but I can tell that this concussion effect was well done.

Con: Short levels. The game wasn't that long, really. The simplified way of running and gunning (it's no Deus Ex!) is ok. Storyline is engaging to a degree (the character switches do not help you identify with a single soldier). But, it's all based on historical fact- and I think that's pretty neat.

I'm a big fan of MOH so when I heard that a lot of the creators where on this project I
thought I'd check it out. MAN I WAS BLOWN AWAY. I played the demo and I must say
I'm getting it the second its out because its a work of art and authenticity. I was really
tense when playing the demo it was unreal. I think this is a must have if your a MOH fan.

Call of Duty is a good game. It wasnt that hard but it was fun. You can switch from automatic to single shots on some guns. The missions are long and they take a while to finish. You play as a British soldier, a American soldier and a Russian soldier. When you are the Russian soldier you have to survive Stalingrad. I would recomend this game to anyone who liked Medal of Honor.

This is by far the best WWII game i have ever played. Single player isnt bad and i found no glitches in it. I play mainly multiplayer and if you like big multiplayer games i would get it.
