Great single player, not great multi-player

I played the demo and was astounded by the visuals and atmosphere of the game. The single person game is very good, but the multi-player aspect is lacking appeal. The multiplayer part feels just like Battlefield 1942 with better graphics. The respawn is terrible where it is not uncommon to appear next to a couple enemy soldiers. I hope gets better in a patch, but as of right now, I think I will cut my losses and go back to playing Desert Combat and Medal of Honor.

I fount the game too be really good, I love working with a squad that actually shoots at the enemy versus having too depend on doing everything on your own. However, the game is too darn short. I picked it up on Monday, and here it is Tuesday night and I am done. I didn't play it for hours either, just and hour or two here and there.

This is much better than Delta Force Black Hawk Down! I played DFBHD with buddies online it were okay. But this one is much better. Lucky I have a good faster computer to play this game smoothly. So far the better multiplayer online game I ever played. Now I am currently asking my buddies to get this game! Graphics, gameplay, and everything seem so perfect on this. Map and mod tools are kinda hard for me to use and couldnt understand how to make map and mods! It would be nice if someone out there know how to make it (make Gijoe vs cobras in Call of Duty!) If you know anyone that are planning on to make one. Pls let me know. nascarzing@yahoo.com

this game simply rules. the missions where you must snipe dirty germans from your soviet bunker with only your skills and 30 bullets between you and death...amazing. The sound, with good speakers or headphones, will give you nightmares of Nam and will make schoolgirls wet their panties.

Tribute to Medal of Honor or a simple clone?

Call of duty has great graphics, tank battles, mad charges of enemy gun implacements and players have lots of weapons from which to choose; just like the Medal of Honor games.

In fact, I can't see any real difference between the two games, and that is sort of a good thing since Medal of Honor is such a great game. You do get your money's worth buying Call of Duty, it held my interest during the duration of the game even though there is nothing really new or different in it.

So much better than MoH

Now if you want to have have some WWII kicking-derriere fun, that's what you need.
Fans of 1st person shooting who liked MoH, this one's for you: more action speed (just try to shoot out of a car window!), more real sound ambiance that makes you jump and dive to avoid bullets.
And the graphics!
All of this with a great easy-to-master gameplay.
Great game!

ok you think Call oF Duty is the best but i have found a new game its the same cind of game but i think it has bigger and better levls Medal of honor Allied Assault !!!!!!!!!!
But all i want is CAll of duty on the ps2 ...

This game is just Great.
After half-life and Medal of Honour series I think this is one of the best games i've played,too short though but its great.
The graphics And sound effects of This Game Are worth admiring.Each stage Has Its uniqueness and thrills for instance the stage in which we have to cross a field and save our self from the enemy air raid attack is really thrilling
For Multiplayer you will need a very high speed connections of cable and DSL. the Game takes a long time to load on 56K modem.
The Multiplayer is almost same as that of Medal of honour allied assault.
Overall this game has found its way in the top five games Of my gaming list.
Worth Playing for a first person shootist.

This game is nothing compared to the latest Castle Wolfenstein. The multiplayer is good - I always get excellent, fast connections. But the game is real boring. No medics or alternate roles to play. Just shooting each other on and on into eternity. Yippee.

Medal of honor Series has nothing on this.

I was a tad disapointed with the MoH series. It had a ok storyline but it didn't have a great Replay value. When I first started playing Call of Duty I was like "...Wow...this is diffrent" on my radeon 9600 the people look so real. Even BEFORE I got the radeon they looked extremely nice. The gameplay is pretty good but it seems like the game is so short. On "hardest" mode or vetrean, the game adds some more realism. You can't poke your head over a brick wall from fear of getting killed in a one shot one kill. The AI was Good, unlike other games you could point at them and either click the fire button one or the melee button and they would give up their spot to you or get out of the way so they wouldn't get shot. The music had me trying in vain to hum along. Over all I think its one of the better World War Two games ever.
