Ok, Im gonna tell you guys right now. This game is gotta be by far the mostu nbelievable first person shooter iv ever played. TONS OF ACTION, AWESOME AI, HOT GRAPHICS. When playing this, I actually felt like I was there. What I really enjoyed was how the enemy treats you and your team equally unlike in medal of honor. Unlike in games like MOH, etc you will perform a mission with teamates that shoot at the enemy, but in turn, only get killed if they are programed to die. Not in COD. if the eenemy sees your teamate, hes in trouble. EXCELLENT GAME

It's just Medal Of Honor with a different title

It is an EXACT copy of Medal of Honor Allied Assault and the expansion packs that followed. Don't waste your money.
They didn't even try to make it orginial. It is just the same old, scripted mission action repackaged.

I enjoyed the game. I liked it...but I did not think it was worth my money.

There are some new things that are nice...but that list is so short, it is still not worth $40 or $50!!!

DON"T BELIEVE THE HYPE>>>>>>>>

Download the demo or borrow a copy from a friend and TEST DRIVE it first people.

If you like it...then buy it but don't rush out because of the overhyped 5 star votes in here!!!

Best first person shooter!!!

This game rocks. This game is better than Medal of Honor, Day of Defeat, and even Battlefield 1942! I recently downloaded the demo version of this game. I found out this game about on PCgamer magazine. So, I downloaded the demo and installed it right away. I was so excited just to play this demo. And guess what? It just happen to be the best FPS game I have ever played! This game was just totally amazing! Like the PCgamer says "This game will make you forget about Medal of Honor!" And it did sort of made me forget about Medal of Honor. MOD is just as good, but actually I think Call of Duty was better. It was only a demo, too! Just the demo itself was better than Medal of Honor?! I guess it was. Believe me, you will love the demo. Just imagine it. If the full version comes out in November, just the demo itself was a blast, then the retail version will be like maybe even better than Half Life(I doubt that it will be as good as Half Life 2). I will be worshipping Call of Duty. If you liked Medal of Honor, you will freakin' want to marry Call of Duty. Yes, I believe it is that fun. Because I have played the demo version. Not only playing the demo, I have seen every single movies, screenshots, and previews of this game that I can find. And until now, I have seen not one single bad preview. So, trust me, you will love this game, I recommend you to buy it if it comes out sometime in November. P.S. If you are not a first person shooter fan, then just try the demo first. I bet you'll like it.

An improvement on "Medal of Honor"

Best WWII sim to date. Many of the people who worked on MoH worked on this title....and it shows!

It was a lot of fun. I didn't expect it to be so much like an arcade game.

To the developers: I would like to have games like CoD but taking place in Viet Nam, Iraq, and the pacific theater of WW2. How come virtually the only enemies you get to shoot in war games are Germans? I think that really SUCKS! I want to also shoot Japanese, Vietnamese, and Muslims. I especially want to shoot Muslims after 911 and everything. I also think it'd be fun to nuke Japan in a game. I'm really tired of shooting Germans. Give us some different frigging enemies! All you game companies are missing a lot of easy money by not making an FSP about Iraq.

Great visuals and great gameplay

Call of Duty looks very good, sounds very good, and is amazingly fun to play. Perhaps "fun" is the wrong word since the whole point of the game is to kill as many soldiers as possible. but it is fun nonetheless. It's perhaps not the visually most striking game around, but is looks very good, and the sound is top-notch. You play most levels with a squad of fellow soldiers which adds a whole other level of excitement to the game. Best WWII shooter around.

MOH still owns

I am not going to say that this game is bad or anything but it does not make me want to switch over. I still play MOH and I did not find COD to be significantly better, in fact I enjoy MOH alot more. The gameplay of this game is not equivalent. Also random spawning is not all that great, plenty of times I spawned surrounded by enemy only to be turned into swiss cheese.
Anyway I pass on this one because I am a stubborn bastard.

U.S. soldiers died for this?

I's still shocked and horrified that games like this are still making money. Are they ever going to make a Schindler's List game. They already made ones on Vietnam and Desert Storm (Odd that the sequel appeared BEFORE the second gulf war, do they have soldiers die from roadside bombs or panic killings at check points yet?) and so on but this is just trashy 'Greatest Generation' banter that's overstuffed uber-patriotic garbage. When is this going to stop!?
First off, most of this is too much a carbon copy of war movies like 'Saving Pvt. Ryan', A Bridge too far, and Enemy at the Gates.' and its more than obvious they did no research while making this movie. Granted, it may seem trivial to have an actual historian work on a video game but it serves the point that its just propaganda trying to cash in on a country of wannabe generals.
Second, the Russian sequence is by far the worst, it plays frame for frame 'Enemy at the Gates' with no real variation. Besides, the Russians didn't shoot small squads retreating from a bad charge, they just shot deserters trying to leave the area of combat, it's highly over-exagerrated. Also note that commissars gave warning shots up in the air before training weapons on their own soldiers giving them an ultimatum. In total 10-15,000 died in such a fashion compared to the 20 million the Germans killed.
Not to say that's the only area of crap, the British segment where two guys take out an entire German destroyer just wretched. When the hell did that ever happen? Oh, and then they whisk away in a plane smack in german territory with no resistence?
In conclusion its no better than any of those lame contra games where one man takes out an entire army but worse it profits from the sacrifice of veterans, pfeh.
