The start of western games on ps2, this game ain't worthy

Hey, if you're looking for a vintage western shooter, this game is it. It's like one of those John Wayne movies, bad guys, Saloons and same plots, plus an ugly damsel in distresss. I didn't much like it because it was too vintage, not modern, and the gameplay was so slow, it took a total of 5 seconds to shoot a bad guy... after i pulled the trigger. But if you're a western fan, this will do for now, in the mean time, another western based on the movie Open Range will be coming out by early 2005 in PS2, PSP, X-BOX and Gamecube, that or John Wayne's Rio Bravo which was announced early this year at the E3 Show to be coming out fall of 2004.

Red Dead Revolver is by far the sickest game ever.In this game everything you ever wanted in a game pretty much comes true.You have your bad ass story line, awesome graphics,good characters its not that hard and a garuntee youll have fun everytime you play it.Eventhough it has its disadvantages it is still an awesome game.Sometimes youll feel like you want to throw it out the window DONT once you pass it youll love it three times more.I wouldent be suprised if a Red Dead Revolver two came out but until then this is the game youll wanna buy.So dont settle for some other game get the best in the best in the west Red Dead Revolver.

i'm conflicted because while i love the game, there are so many who find it boring. i think that they were expecting another brainless gory shoot fest, which is exactly what this is. if it's exactly what they were looking for, why do they gripe? this game should be owned by every gamer simply because, until now, never before has the western been made into a game worth playing. this game captures the feeling of holding a loaded revolver perfectly. it's just like when i go human hunting. man, those buggers are hard to hit when they run away...

this game is so classic. very fun. only bad thing is story mode is very short. but replayable. buy this for the shoot up' fun. NOT for the overall length of the game. despite that its one of the best ive played.

Graphics: the environments are done well,However the animation and character models could have been alot better.Audio: the only thing in the game that is remotely competetive. AI: very rough , with far too many characters running into walls, it does make them easier to kill. Story:The script is hillarious, but the acting almost made me wet myself.
I really wanted to like this game as i was a big fan of "outlaw".
I have heard a western RPG is coming out based on "the good the bad and the ugly" I hope it's better than this.

Rockstar has made a ton of good games (except for state of emergency). This is one of their best. The shooting is a challenge, but thats the fun part. The story is very gripping too. Reminds me of an old Spaghetti western. The graphics are great. A must for any true story driven gamer.

The graphic is not at the better level.but the gameplay,story and the character is really great.Ride horse like western movie.Outstanding multiplayer battle.Medium targeting and easy to move.Great dual challenge.As really great game.
