It gives back a feeling of Medal of Honor with always telling you what to do, and at the same time you feel that you play a game like GTA, or Mafia. I think the soundtrack is awesome, just what someone would expect from a western game. The controlling is easy and they put lots of fun stuff in it (dead eye, you can have shower with the girls). And after all the game is not hard to beat, and at the same time is long enough. It has one of the best story lines, and I enjoyed that I had to play with different characters, not only one. I like the Bounty Hunter game with the challenges after you beat the game in easy mode.
Altogether this is another fantastic, and unbeatable Rockstar product!

Rockstar Games is known for the best games I have ever played (Grand Theft Auto Series, Manhunt, Max Payne) and they have another game to add to that collection: Red Dead Revolver. Red Dead Revolver is a game that will revive the western genre, and I'll tell you why.
Just like any Rockstar game, the story is great. The story starts out with Red's father, Nate Harlow, finding gold. He comes home and tells his family about it and they celebrate being together again, but what Nate doesn't know is that word of him finding gold got out to General Diego. General Diego, a Mexican Army General, sends his troops to raid the Harlow homestead and murders Red's father and mother. Red witnesses this and takes action, he picks up a scorpion revolver that was sitting in a fire, the hot handle burns an engravement into his hand that will never let him forget what happened that day.
As an adult, Red has become a bounty hunter. As he kills people for money, he learns more and more about his past and meets new people. You meet Jack Swift, an english gunslinger; Annie Stoakes, a ranch owner defending her property; General Diego, a Mexican Army Commander; Buffalo Soldier, a U.S. soldier, and Shadow Wolf, an indian that helped raise you after your parents were murdered. The 6 playable characters make the game even better.
There are 25 chapters that you play in. Red Dead Revolver is a very fun game that explores the wild west. Although the game is fairly short, you won't regret playing it. Rockstar has done a wonderufl job with the game. The game feels exactly like a western movie. The graphics were intentionally made the way they were to feel more vintage. Although the areas you play in are small, they are filled with great detail to objects around you. The gunplay is awesome too. It's like a mixture of Max Payne and Manhunt gunplay. Also the duels can be pretty tricky, it takes some getting used to, but nonetheless its a fun thing to do.
There is already talk about a sequel to this game and I think that they definitely should make another one, but I have two requests for Rockstar. To be able to roam the western front freely. I think that would be awesome, like GTA 19th century style. I would also like them to get better voice actors, because it's not very well done in this one, but maybe Rockstar was going for that, becuase face it some of the western movies are pretty corny, and so are the voices on this game.
In conclusion, I definitely think you should try this game out. Rockstar has hit another home run and I think that this game will revive the western genre. Worth the hype. Look forward to Red Dead Revolver 2
Love it.

What a greate game. If you love westers you are going to love it. It also capture the attention of all of those kids that never care about western genre. Play it and you almost live what is to be Blondie (Eastwood) in the Spaghetti Western movies of Sergio Leone.

The game was originally being done by Capcom which dropped the game altogether midway through programming, this probably explains some deficiencies in the game. Rockstar can always be counted on to give us great games so with that being "said" I will stay faithful to Rockstar and hope that the sequel to this game is better.

This game takes place in a third person camra angle. The game plays a lot like Max Payne or The Matrix. Compared to the GTA series this game has bearly any gore. Basicly you go stage to stage killing enemys and progressing the the next place. You get a score at the end of every stage and you can win stuff that you can ply in other modes. The first time through the games isn't that hard to regular gamers. There are a few hard levels that make you keep playing them until you find out what to do. There are boss battles every so often which also prove you need a little skill. After you beat the game you unlock a new mode which is so hard that you will not want to play it. The best part about this game is mutiplayer which will get boreing over time. Instead for wasting your money on this title get Max Payne. It's more fun and cheaper.
awsome game

Rockstar games has once again made another great and extremely violent game! (Like Vice City) The graphics were a little disappointing but you forget about the graphics when you are in a massive gun battle which pop up everywhere. The story is very good and the sound effects are also good. 5/5 stars!
