Konami released another MGS game. I enjoyed MGS and MGS2, espcially Substance. So much depth... Can't... swim... too deep...
Anyways, Snake Eater is gonna be awesome. I've seen screens in EGM (the Sonic Heroes cover) and the graphics are still some of the best out. Just wish I could see the trailer. Dang those Quicktime video formats.
The game will take place in a jungle, but hey, you can't have an MGS game without a modern base full of walking tanks, the "Metal Gear"s. I still love the room in MGS2, with the random names, all full of Metal Gear RAYs.
The AI will *gasp* have an IQ large enough to know to take cover before bleeding to death.
You get to eat animals in this one! Yay!

Each Metal Gear title has presented addictive gameplay that ties into the factual-incorporated storyline that has fans begging for more, and Snake Eater is no exception. In fact, Snake Eater could possibly bring out more of what we've always wanted in a Metal Gear game. Now that this game takes place in an enviorment not shown in other titles, it could bring the introduction of: more intense stealth action, vehicles (to menuvre throughout the jungle enviroment), new characters (most likely with different ethnic backgrounds), new weapons and gadgets at your disposal (sweet!), and this title could possibly bring out a new main character (which even though I love to play as Solid Snake, I believe introducing another main character is more appropriate for this game). I think this game will not only blow out every other stealth game attempting to reach Metal Gear's status in the gaming world, but will ultimatly dominate over every other game of 2004 (alittle bit risky for me to say, I'll admitt, but if Hideo Konami does exactly what he has explained over the past couple of months, I have no reason not to have faith). This November will present us with many new games from popular hit titles like: Metroid Prime 2, Prince of Persia 2, Splinter Cell 3, NFSUnderground 2,Resident Evil 4, Jak 3 etc, but I believe that Metal Gear Solid 3 will be a fitting sequel to the ever-growing franchise of Metal Gear Solid!

I played this game at a Konomi engineer's home. It's pretty cool. But it's not what people are expecting. Since it takes place in the 1960s, alot of it takes place in space and on the moon. It's gets a little lame because the only way you can kill people is by running them over with your moon rover and hitting them with your golf club. The coolest part is analyzing moon rocks through a microscope. What amazing chrystallization!
Bottom line, I'd wait for Metal Gear Solid 4: Polyurethane Gear. It's lighter, cheaper and won't rust.

Im so happy, you Metal Gear Fans will no what I mean. I Got Metal Gear Solid 2 the first day it came out and I was constantly playing. But as the story progress I see something new. Raiden, ohh cool a new character.Until... Im not saying a thing! Find out for yourself. I had to buy a Gamecube and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes to calm me down. Im so happy that it's only Snake in this game. As for Metal Gear Solid 3, I don't care how bad it is (even though I played the demo and liked it)I will still like it better than Metal Gear Solid 2. Good thing I have a network adapter. Just in case there is new levels to download, I'll be there. For the kiddies out there with no mature games allowed, I recommend you get Splintef Cell, It's kind of a Metal Gear Clone.Here's a list of all the Metal Gear Game I Got. have Metal Gear Solid (PS1), Metal Gear Solid Demo (JAP, PS1), Metal Gear Solid (GBC), Metal Gear Solid: The twin Snakes (GC), Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (Xbox). This wuz the second Metal Gear Solid I played and it wuz realllli good but some levels were a bit confusin nd everything but the graphics were pretty good on it and it duznt take long to figure out the controls its really fun but i jus wish they added more levels cuz at the end of the game u cant relli do anythin once u finish so yeah but other then that its relli good

its finally coming. METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER! ive seen the trailer for this game and it looks fantastic. it starts when big boss "solid snake" infiltrates somewhere in russia to destroy their nuclear strike capability. its set in 1964 by the way. the first cutscene features snake making the worlds first "HALO" jump. it continues on to a sneaking mission.buy it and find out yourself what happens next!

Im just basing my ratings off of the demo which I think is pretty impressive (cept the fact if you leave to use the bathroom and the game is paused it'll reset itself).
Can't wait for it to come out :)

He's talking to Hideo Kojima on Amazon.com....haha.....he probably want's that "sexual" stuff taken out because his parents wouldn't allow him own the game
