greatest mgs yet

this game is so tight. to tell u the truth, when i first started palying it, i hated it. i was about to sell it to someone else. i hated the cmaera angles and i hated the to map thing. but after an hour, it became so cool. it took me a minute to figure out how it works, and now i love it. the story is off the chain. the graphics are amazing. the best part is that there is no fag named raiden. but who ever liked him, there is a mask that resembles him. any way, it is so tight how u get to hunt the animals, and blend in with the area. this is by far the best stealth game i have ever played. A MUST BUY!!!

Metal Gear Solid 3- Almost as good as 1

There are so many subtle things in this game that most, if all, will not notice on the first playthrough. That is okay because of the extremely high replay value. When I first beat this game I was so proud of myself. The second time through was so easy, and that was Extreme mode. I had a harder time with 'Easy" than I did with "Extreme", so pick up those MGS skills early, people!
2 complaints i have with this game are:
1- After about 3 or 4 play throughs, the areas and gameplay start to get boring unless you unlock something new to play with.
2- The stealth. The 'stealth' is something, for you first-time MGS'ers, that keeps you 100% hidden from the enemy while it's equipped. You can spend hours of fun with this thing, especially in MGS2. But in 3, if you get detected (which is easy if you love fooling around with everyone like I do), the camo % goes down to 95, and everyone all of the sudden knows where you are. It kind of takes away the fun and the trouble of getting away. Oh well.
Game Recommended.

This game is TOTALLY BOSS!!! The songs, the characters, the story...oh wow!!! This game took me to a whole new world of gaming! Snake is DA BEST! [and quite cute for an animation!] I also liked Eva even though she was a bit rude! She and Snake end up falling in love! Awwwwww!!!!! It is so cute!............oh sorry! Anyway, the Bosses were unique, supernatural and nothing like I've ever seen before!!! David Hayter [Snake] and Suzetta Minet [Eva] star in this game, you can't imagine these lovers with any other voice.
By the way, is The Boss Snake's mom?
I also loved the songs! Why are You so Afraid to Love Again...oh ma god!!! [The lovie dovie scene!] And Snake Eater is the best song I've ever heard! Amazing singer and I learned most of the words but had to get the lyrics from the computer!!!!
This game is action-packed and sooo intensly relistic and yet utterly magical!
Amen to that!!!

MGS3-MGS4(a review of MGS4 and MGS3)

MGS3 is great, except for the camera angles.Basically u have to keep looking in 1st person view to see if there is any enemy soldiers,traps,etc.The best way to beat the hardest boss(they weren't really that hard)in my opinion is the End.It is a long battle in the jungle.
WWWWAAAARRRRNNNIIINNNGGG:This next tip spoils The fighting The End part of the game and reveals who ocelot really is.
okay,here goes.
If u wanna skip the fighting the End part follow these steps.
On ure way to the lab(after meeting Eva for the 1st time)you will enter a cutscene showing The end rolling out in a wheel chair and and ocelot(who is really the Adam who was the spy that was supposed to show up instead of eva) scaring sokolov to the point that he pi$$es his pants.
ANYWAY After the cutscene The volgin walks bac in and a soldier is pushing the end back into the warehouse.Quick take out ure sniper rifle(can get in the place with the helecopter on way to the lab) and shout the End in the HHHHHEEEEAAAADDDD!! otherwise it will not work.When u come to the fighting the end part u will be able to scip it and continue on with the game.

Here is a quick review of MGS4. One think that kinda sucks is that since the big shell mission snake has aged years and know is a old man exhausted of battle. Even those hes old he had learn more CQC moves and will snap a neck without a second opinion.
ANYWAY snake is a old man navigating a war-torn city.Everything in shades of brown and dust permeates as explosions occur everywhere.The new metal gear solid wep. a huge warfare machine that has 2 huge high tech animilistic legs.

Im a MGS Nut and i cant wait for this game. i have MGS, MGS2, and the Document of MGS2. MGS3 is the one im waiting for.

I havent played the game yet so I cant say its good nor Bad ( Though I think its going to be awesome) But I do Know a lot of info on this game. 1st, You play as Solids Snakes Father... BIG BOSS. It Does take place in the 1960's during the Cold War. The Gameplay is going to be enhanced with "stalking" and using new weapons such as the Knife. The enviorment you play in is in the Jungle. Raiden does not appear in the game, since Raiden isnt born yet in the 1960s, nor is there any character change.. YAY !

I think MGS 3 is going to be one of the best game of Konami. Everything looks all realistic. I have the ten minute trailer.It is cool. You play as Big Boss not Snake. Now he could hang from one hand and shoot with the other. I pre-ordered this game and I can't wait for them to ship it to me. This time no radar. You are gonna have to hear for twigs to break to identify an enemy. Now there is hunt dogs looking for you too. I hope this is helpful for you guys.

Ok, this right here is about as truthful as this info can get. It turns out you are possibly playing Big Boss himself, before he went under some changes. In MGS1, Liquid had said that snake was the perfect clone of BB himself, there for Snake and Big Boss look so much alike. Snake Eater, by the way, was a title given to certain specialists, and warriors of the natives that they might have incountered in missions. Snake Eater is the title you recieve if you ate the poisen snake they gave you, and if you survived, you recieved the most respected title you could. So theres your history lesson.This game has the best type of enviroment to use any strategy you can come up with. No set path in the game, no real way of knowing where you are, hidding, killing, eating, and also the skill to kill a crocadile, eat it, and use the head like a hat. ...I havent played any game like this ever before in the past. With such powerful story line and graphic marveling itself every single time its released. My favourite is solid snake amongs everyone. I think it might be big boss or snake went back in time, so he can stop the nuclear warhead from ever getting started in the first place. Because this whole game is based nuking nations. Raiden was somewht of a disappointment but its ok. As Hideo indicated that Raiden was necessary for the plot. I mean you should give Hideo credit for bringing such a awesome game like mgs2 in this time.
This type of series give us and other gamers and developer an idea of how far can game be made and hideo has proven over time.
He like the trendsetter and other follow like dogs.
For example look at these stupid american game developers making games abt wars and first person shooters.
They cant come up with something else, something original even the graphics [are bad.]
The only other game i like is counter strike because its something thats original.
tom clancy did a good job copy metal gear and made splinter cell.
But compared to mgs 2, splinter cell is piece of garbage...

i got a demo of snake eater in the newest playstation magazine. overall, the game is awesome. and that just from playing for about 25 min. theres so much new things to do in the game, kill frogs, stab snakes, shoot alligators. if you like mgs and mgs 2 you definantly need to pick this one up on the 17th.

This is the best Metal Gear Solid game ever, if not, the best PS2 game you will ever buy. Trust me, it's worth it. It's better than San Andreas, it's better than Halo2, it's better than all them games. It's got depth, it's got story, it's got awesome gameplay. You'll love it. I did have a few gripes, but they were minor, 1 being the radio conversations loading slow on an older PS2. It was honestly no big deal. I loved that game 100%. :) You will too. If you're looking for an Xmas gift for that die-hard gamer, Go for it. Buy this game. I give it the best rating ever.
