Medal of honor takes you on a journey of a ww2 soldier on a mission to stop Germany from it's evil ways. As soon as I started playing it it felt like I was in the cast of Saving Private Ryan. You like first person shooters, you'll love this one without a doubt. It takes a little getting used to but in the end it's worth it. EA did a great job.

All I can say is, Oh...my....God. I expected excellence from this MOH series, but they truly outdid themselves. Just two minutes into the game when you storm the beaches of Normandy, I was totally hooked. The realism of the effects of bullets zinging by your head along with sounds and the AI of the computer was amazing. It took me a few times to get through the first mission, but it was worth the trouble. The other missions didn't let me down. I feel guilty about my other games; I don't spend time with anymore since I started playing MOH. I think they're getting jealous. Oh well!!! The gameplay is outstanding, and the missions are unique. I just hope I get to play with the shotgun more often. I love the moans they make when I pelt them in the chest with buckshot. I wish there was a gore feature to add blood. That would be cool. If you've seen my review on No One Lives Forever, you'll find out that I kicked it to the curb to play this treasure. Although I'm about halfway through MOH, I just gotta play the Normandy beach seen again, this time with the lights out. Til I finish this game, the others will have to take a backseat. I would rate it a 6 instead of a 5. This one is a must have.

This game is for experts only. It is hard to aim,the buttons are weird, and the levels are so unusually formed, you get lost. Bottom line: EXPERTS ONLY! PERIOD!
Dont believe the hype!

If you are into beating games in a couple of days this game is for you. I was very disappointed to find out the game was so short. The one thing this game lacks is a multiplayer. Now that I am done with the game, I'll sell it or give it away. With the original MOH, I loved playing against other people and it encouraged me to keep the game. Another downfall is that the creators didn't know where they wanted to go with the game. What I mean is, it is too violent for kids, yet there is no blood and realism for the older crowds. Friendly fire is non-existent. The first mission through Normandy was awesome and I felt like I was in "Saving Private Ryan", but how realistic is it if your own men don't die if you accidentally shoot them. The game is exciting and the graphics are great, so I gave it a 3. If it had a multiplayer function where you hunt each other down and there was blood, it would definitely deserve a 5. If you don't care about playing against others or gory games, then this one is for you.
good but not great

if you are one of the many that ran to the shops, from the moment you heard that this game was available, this review will come a little late. I loved playing this game, it was good fun And the graphics are amazing to say the least. however, if like me you went through various copies of the previous games in the series, you will probably experience the "been there, done that" feeling. It almost feels as if they tried to melt both previous games in one. All the weapons have allready appeared in the previous series, there are a few rail driving missions, but I found them to be a bit chaotic, I expected a much more creative approach from the programmers e.g. driving a tank, using British or other weapons, fighting some one else than the Germans for once. If the programmers wish to continue the series, they will have to be far more creative next time.
Not that good...

I didn't realize it would be first person or I wouldn't have bought it. It's very difficult to move and aim. If you don't play on the "easy" setting, your dead before you have a chance to do anything.
The enemy is nice though, they stand still and let you shoot them.
I would take it back if I had that option.
missing a lot of things

Most medal of honor games are very good, the multiplayer mode is fun and the missions are interesting. frontline does not have a multiplayer mode and the missions are really boring. The AI is awful, just because an enemy can throw your grenades back at you dose not make the game any more realistic or challanging! thegraphics are not that great and the game is short. I beat it the same day I bought, it in about four hours. overall the game is fun but it does notv have the replay value of the first two.
RENT IT!!!!

Maybe it is just me, but the fun of the MOH series seems to wane with each game that comes out. The Graphics are better than ever, but there's only so many ways you can make sneaking around and spying interesting. The more combat-oriented operations were a lot better than any of the past games. I hope Dreamworks emphasizes this aspect in future games... At least they didn't have dancing dogs and tinmen shooting bazookas anymore.
If you've never played the MOH series before, you'll probably enjoy it a bit more.
Still waiting for a topnotch WW2 tank and air combat sim game though... The modern-era flight sim that came out for PS2 has unbelievable graphics, but who wants to use radar and missiles when you can unload your 50 cals on some Kraut...
Great Game...Looking for more!

Medal of Honor Frontline is one of the best games to be made. It has great graphics, sound, and gameplay. However, it could have more options added to the game to make the experience even more authentic. For example, they could make it possible to pick up any German weapon laying on the battle field. Also, allow the American weapons to have limited ammo; considering that there is not much if any US ammo behind enemy lines. Besides these bonus characteristics, in the future I would like to see Medal of Honor go from fighting the Germans to fighting the Japanese.
