AL SHARPTON FOR PRESIDENT

This game is terriable. I cant believe people gave this game a good rating. Realistic? You cant even kill your own allies. Thats realistic? You people know nothing about video games. The game is linear and it seems that the allies would have lost the war without you, you end up doing everthing. The history lesson after each mission was boring and should have never been put in the game. The symphony music sounded like you were at a funeral. This game is not as good as everyone claims it is.

Ok, I guess I am a PC gamer at heart. I wanted to play this game on my PC, but couldn't since I didn't have the right specs. So, I played it recently on a friends PS2 over a long weekend of gaming... This game blows on the PS2. I am sorry, but the controls are horrible. The PS2 controller has to be about the worst design for playing FPS games. Just utterly terrible. As for the game itself, there were some definite good parts, but for the most part, very underwhelming. Check some of the other reviews here for more details on the various negatives of this game. I am sorry, but this is very much overrated.

The greatest WWII game ever

This is the greatest WWII game and the best of the Medal of Honor series.

Your first mission is at the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, everything is authentic to the historical event, the weapons, the planes, the ships and enviorment. The whole game is very realistic, on the first mission, I felt like I was on a boat. There are over 500 different faces and bodys so you won't kill the same person over and over again. The people at EA did a lot of research on everywhere you go in the game and everything you do in the game such as on the last level you have to steal the experimental plane HO-IX which could have won the war for Germany if we wouldn't have stopped them. This game has a total of 19 levels, some of which are very easy and some that are very hard.

Overall this is a very good game that all PS2 owners should have!!!!!!

Keeps me stuck to the tv.
At the moment i haven't finished the game yet.
I like it very much as a shooter game. Money well spent.

Is the game too hard for you?

Then don't write the review! If you can't even get through the first mission then how are you going to be the person to tell me about the game? This game is a very great FPS for the PS2. It is also a great game if you like having a real scenario involved with your game play at home. It is not a Grand Theft Auto game! The goal is not to be invicible and shoot people's heads off!

The game has great missions and is very involved. I would not say it is too short unless you just put the game on the easy level and try to run through it using codes or stay up all night playnig it. Which is hard not to do I will say - the game is very addictive and fun to play. And even though it is a one player game, my friends and I got together on the weekend (after the big Tyson fight) and took turns with the controls and helped out during the missions. It was a blast and not easy at all even on the easiest setting.

Yes it would be cool to be able to open more doors and get a little lost, but that for a lot of people would make the game too long and boring. The enemy is difficult to beat at times but they are not as good at killing you as you can be at killing them. If they were, the game could not be beaten.

Overall they did a great job with this game and it is well worth owning it if you can truely appreciate how the game is trying to entertain you. It is almost like a game you can always go back to after watching a WWII movie and go be in the movie!

If you just want to beat the game as fast as you can and are already a pro at these kind of games then it is just worth the rental price or wait until other's that just wanted to beat the game, sell theirs for cheap. For my money, not many other games that are as much fun on the PS2 system then Medal of Honor Frontline.

Incredible

I am not at all a fan of PlayStation or the games. I much prefer the XBox. But this game simply blew me away, quite literaly. I could not belive the intense details and superior graphics of this game. Though I am not fond of war-type games, I was quite surprised with this and it kept me hooked. (Although I kept dying on the third mission and had to restart over and over again) There is no blood at all, which is something I am grateful for, or else I probably would not have even considered playing it. The storyline is quite believable and it is so much fun to play Jimmy Patterson and all of his little top-secret missions. This is probably one of the only PlayStation games I will give a five-star rating. Another plus was the soundtrack, it was beautiful and I am definitely going to have to buy it seperately.

The only problem I had with this game was the inverted controlling. I am a lefty and so it was very difficult to get used to the controls. I kept trying to shoot a Nazi right in front of me and I kept hitting the wall instead.

Otherwise, this is a very good game and I would highly reccomend it!

This is one of my favorite PS2 games. Lots of action, and the game play unfolds like a movie. I have noticed a few graphical glitches, but overall this game will give you hours of fun.
