Rent it, don't buy it

Way too easy. The game is beatable on "hardest" mode in no time. Decent graphics; but, essentially the exact same game as the original 007 Goldeneye for Nintendo (the older one). Much better to rent. Gets boring, no exciting features.

The beginning of the game is good. Kind of like saving private ryan, but then the graphics go bad after that. I don't understand these gamers that make a game look great on TV, then you buy it and it is terrible. Don't buy it, rent it first.

THIS game looks absolutly ammzing if it is anything like the originall i will be amazed. THis game looks great and if i have to wait 3 months for the game to come out than so be it

What the hell was EA thinking???

First let me start off by saying I was really upset with EA for the way they show D-Day. If you've ever seen Saving Private Ryan, you'll know that the invasion was no walk in the park. But EA, through some EXTRAODINARY act, managed to show this in an amost whimsical light. You don't have to sprint madly across the beach, dodging bullets and mortor rounds, stepping over bodies and wounded soldiers. No. Instead, you run around on a fenced in stretch of beach maybe 50 yards wide, helping men who are pinned down by gunfire. Its as simple as running (well, you don't have to run really) over to these men, and firing into the bunkers, causing the Germans to stop firing at you for a couple seconds and long enough for whoever you were helping to continue on his way. Its incredibly stupid. Then, when you finally get to the bunkers, you have to clear it by yourself. For some reason, no one follows you in. The rest of the game is basically a one-man assault on the entire German army. You parade around shooting Nazis and getting shot maybe twenty times, then pick up a canteen, which heals you. ITS SO STUPID!!! Don't waste any time on this game. I recommend Brothers in Arms. Although its not all the way there, its much better than this game. And, oh yeah, DON'T EVER GET MOH: RISING SUN!!! ITS WORSE THAN THIS GAME!!! (just so you know)

See, the problem is most people have a very limited understanding of what makes a great game. Thats why a game like this gets almost 5 star average, when in reality it is a mediocre game worth maybe 1 star.

the graphics and sound are great, yes, but you know what? every game has great graphics. its time to get over it.

this game is so pathetically linear. there is no need to even think at any time what you need to do on a level. you just walk around and doors mysteriously unlock or lock to let you move along in the level. there is no freedom, like in gta, to make up your own reality. its just one straight-line from start to finish. dont bother reading the story, it doesnt matter. you cant leave a room unless you press the action button (listen to me- ACTION BUTTON - not the thing you have to do but ACTION BUTTON. do not think, just press ACTION BUTTON like a moron.)

dont people bleed when they get shot? this game is unrealistic in every detail except the graphics. the AI is so incredibly bad and the timing of the deaths to the shot is often misqueued -you shoot someone and they dont die, but a second later they do. Im not talking about distance shooting either. sometimes you shoot someone and they click and disapear and reapear five feet away. other times you cant tell you shot someone because the animation of the deaths is so bad. again, not a single drop of blood in the game.

possibly the worst controls a videogame ever had. the default line of sight is too high. what programmer would do that? that is insanity. the programmers who made this game are total amatures.

Clear an area from one view, and then go down a latter and SURPRISE the game has suddenly generated new enemies out of nowhere in one second. In one level I saw enemies generated right in front of me. At least in golden eye it was smart enough to wait till you werent looking). Killed all the enemies on a level? NO, YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE MACHINE GUN AND THEN SUDDENLY ENEMIES APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE. you know what Im talking about. Is this realistic?

how come it doesnt matter if you play the game on difficult or easy, unlike in golden eye? just switch the difficulty any old time it doesnt matter. not like the world cares. eat a twinkie and watch jerry springer. the level of quality in video games is lately next to nothing because of you.

this is a very very mediocre game. if you cant see that you need to stop polluting the world with your lack of understanding and experience.

ps - the much praised normandy landing was done 10 times better in conkers bad fur day - with a less powerful system.

This game is truly fascinating due to the enormous power of the Playstation2. But, i think the Allied Assault version of the PC edges this graphically lower game. The two games have the D-Day missions and any gamer who possessess both Ps2 and PC with Pentium4 not less than 1.7ghz with PC800 RDRAM with a Geforce3 will most definitely say D-day- confined to PC for MAXIMUM satisfaction, because of the huge amount of memory in PC, a lot of scenery can be seen in one instance but on the other hand in the Ps2, we can see almost half what the PC offers, so if you want real MOH and if you wanna feeel that you are really in there, try the PC version which has the best OMAHA beach level in any PLATFORM for gaming.

When i first got home and launched this disc in my ps2 i was very excited to play this game. but little do i kno this game is HARD. and i mean hardcorhard. i couldn't even get past the first level! yup level not mission. i had to do codes like invicibility to have or other big cheats to actually beat a level. but even if u have the codes its still fun because u dont kno where to go and wut to do. if u have invicibility on its fun to let the germans (enemies) shoot at u and then snipe at there heads. i give it three stars because its just WAY 2 hard!!!!

last time i cheked WW2 wasent won by 1 man this games is good until the sub level and by that time you have already beaten the game...the game is short, boring, easy, and just stupid, looking at the first level you whould say its a great game...thats what i thought too, then i got to the sub level and wondered "were is my back up?" fighting armys is fun yea but is i wanted to do that I whould buy MGS2...this game isent great well its not even good its uhhh unrealistic....

This game has slow gameplay most of the time , people have edgy bodys.
