I recently purchased Medal of Honor frontline and it is truly an amazing game. It is loaded with awesome visual and audio affects. It has excellent graphics with only minor (very un-noticable) blips or mistakes. Without a doubt it has the best audio I have ever heard in a video game...ever! The first level alone makes the game a must buy. The first level is the D-day invasion, and if you have seen Saving Private Ryan that just picture the first battle, and thats what the first level is like. Steven Speilberg even helped to creat MOH Frontline, and he did a truly outstanding job once again, by putting you right in the middle of the action. The game is easy enought to be loads of fun, but challengin enough to...well be challenging! I can't say enough, except that this is A DEFFINET MUST BUY FOR ANY DEVOTED PS2 GAMER! Buy it...you'll love it!

I GOT TO BUY THIS GAME EARLY. THE STORE WHERE I GOT IT PUT ON SALE ON THE 28TH OF MAY. THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT AND THE ACTION IS FAST. THE SOUND IS ALSO VERY GOOD. THE DEFAULT CONTROLLER SETTINGS ARE ALSO GOOD. THE WEAPONS ARE PRETTY FAMILIAR IF YOU PLAYED ANY OF THE EALIER INSTALLMENTS.
THE ACTUAL GAME IS ALOT BETTER THAN THE DEMO. THIS GAME IS WORTH THE MONEY. THE OPENING SCENE WITH THE LANDING CRAFT AND BEACH ASSAULT WILL MAKE ANYONE APPRECIATE WHAT THE REAL SOLDIERS WENT THROUGH.
Awesome!

I was out shopping yesterday, and I was rather surprised to see the game in-stock and on the shelves. I wasn't expecting it until D-Day. My friend bought it and brought it over. It is awesome. I haven't played Allied Assault, so I don't know how this one compares, but I have no complaints. That's not entirely true. I have some issues with shooting at someone from a long range and missing, then later shooting from a longer range and hitting. That's not enough to ruin the game. I'll have it come payday.
Fun but difficult

This game was very fun with fast play and exceptional graphics. However, I needed a guide to play it. The game was a little dark(I couldn't figure out how to change the lighting), which made seeing tiny passages that are needed in quite a few levels pretty hard to see. You don't see any blood, but that doesn't hurt the game much. The levels are great and the weapons are interesting( there are an assortment of Allied and German guns and bombs to use.) If the game is set on difficult(which I set mine to) the AI is very good and nicely challenging. Enemy soldiers kick grenades back at you and act like trained soldiers instead of incompetent idiots(like enemies do in many games.)
Buy this game and you won't be sorry!!!

I just bought MOH last night and played about three hours. From what I have seen so far it is pretty much like getting to play the movie "Saving Private Ryan." The game opens with you in an amphibious assault vehicle which gets hit by a shell and flips you out. You are underwater walking along the bottom of the ocean and you can see the bullets coming at you and striking your comrades. The graphics are really great, and you definitely get immersed in the situation. In case you don't know, the game is a first person shooter like Half-Life or Red Faction. I just started the game, but I can't wait for work to be over so I can go play some more. Great game.

And that's both a good and bad thing. Maybe I've just been too spoiled playing multiplayer FPS where everything could go any way, but this game felt a bit too limited to me.
See, in general, you have to follow a script in the game. What I mean is, there are often times when there is only one way to get by a situation. After a while, you'll know exactly what will happen in a situation. Do this, Nazi riflemen will appear at point A, do that, Nazi sailor runs to man a machinegun. Use the sniper rifle to deal with rooftop snipers, use the Tommy gun to waste the three Nazis behind this door. Don't follow the script, don't win. A little more flexibility would have been nice. A slightly oversensitive targeting cursor and disappearing bodies also detract from the game.
That said, it's still a great experience first time around. The opening D-Day mission is excellent. Nearby explosions will shake your targeting, men will yell out for help and orders. The PS2 *does* have limitations, so don't expect a full out Saving Private Ryan. Still, the first time you see an American soldier disappear in the middle of an artillery shell explosion or a jeep losing control after getting strafed by an enemy fighter you'll probably wince or go, "Glad that wasn't me", much like a movie. After repeated viewings, though, it just kinda loses its impact as you go through the motions of the script.
The music is especially good, really giving the game that flavor of an epic WW2 movie. Just listening to it is enough to get me pumped to get through a mission. Even the title screen is set up to evoke those times, with old fashioned radios with clicky knobs and switches. I swear, this could have been the menu screen for a DVD, which further makes me believe that this is more like being in a movie of WW2 than actually being in WW2. Still, it's a good experience overall.

I just opened this game afer a long wait and beat the first mission (D-Day). The graphics are very good and you have real WWII weapons, (an M1 garand, Thompson .45, a Colt pistol etc.). I'd recommend this game to anyone who enjoys f.p. shooters and who enjoys war movies like "Saving Private Ryan". The first segment of the game when you are on the beach almost comes straight from SPR. I've only played the first mission, and it was cool going around blasting Nazis and infiltrating bunkers. You even get to use the German machine guns (MG42s) against them. The only dissapointment is that there is no blood, maybe EA Games really wanted a Teen rating badly. However, the game is still awesome once you get used to the slightly tricky controls. I selected the controller option that requires you to use both L3 and R3 buttons at the same time. Overall this is a great looking and fun-filled game.

A good game, yet, I find it lacks something. At last I found what it was, multiplayer(at least 2 player team battle). Other than that it is a great game. My favorite gun personaly has to be either the Shotgun or the Sniper Rifle. The game is so realistic it is amazing.

The DEMO was fun, the game isn't. The aim is bad, you always die, and everyone seems to have a gun. There is no health in some levels. In the U-Boat, a billoin people shoot you and there is no health. I hate this game. ALOT. I have played the other medal of honors and this game is the worst. Don't buy it. THe first mission is almost impossible to beat until you have played it 5,000,000 times and know where and what everything is. The collision detection is also really bad. You can shoot a person ten times in the head when they are standing right next to you, and they still won't die. The bullets seem to go straight through them. [JUNK]
